Tf Quest 2016
Did the Quest zero stuff back last year (https://8ch.net/tf/res/525.html). Not motivated to reboot and re-learn all the story mechanics and personality quirks, so figured I might as well start a new Quest.
Going for some easier rules this time, even though I'm going to keep a sort of meta-FATE rule of "getting into trouble a character would get into gets you points - Avoiding trouble a character would get into, costs points." I could also roll a simple die now and then to see if things are supposed to go to hell or not, but I'll try and keep that to when we got interesting crossroads or complications.
Either way, I'm looking for some inputs and requests into theme and characters. This isn't the most active chan, but resetting might help rebuilding a crowd.
I'm thinking we'll try and do smaller stories this time. I prefer over-the-top magic/technological alterations and things will be larger than life.
Some Ideas I've had myself:
- Website pulls you into mysterious dimension of room after room, filled with weird contraptions and creatures. Will you make it through?
- Apocalypse now, apocalypse how? Shit's going down outside your window in X city. Who do you call? How do you escape?
- There's a demon sleeping on my couch. What do?
- It's strictly forbidden to build quantum portals to other dimensions with 3d-printed portal kits. Shame capitalism likes money and governments are terrible at following up on tech revolutions.

Hey /tf/, how was everyone's halloween?
No children came to my house, so I just made myself a raw pumpkin pie and ate it alone while watching horror movies. Nothing too special. Didn't dress up or anything either, and that's mostly because I don't feel very comfortable in my own skin.
And that got me thinking. Genetic modification will one day become a reality for humans. Now, let's just say theoretically that this technology is announced tomorrow and released within a year, is relatively inexpensive and mostly safe (as safe as traveling by plane, so there's still a chance something could go wrong). However, every change you make is permanent, for example if you decide to grow a tail, you're stuck with that tail forever. What kind of aesthetic changes would you make to your own body?
Personally I'd want to be shorter (~5 feet), have better skin, hairless, and I'd probably make myself a girl. I can also technically do this with the technology that exists today, minus the height reduction, and I probably will soon.

So, I saw a thread for Age Regression. But I want to see more of the opposite.
Bring forth comics and sequences involving characters growing in age. Any other transformations are allowed (and desired, I've been looking for some good TG/AP work for a while.) Only requirement is that they have to have AP.
I'd also say keep it to transforming them into adult women only, but I suppose that's not completely fair, so if you want to post AP into adult men, that's fine too.
Looking for old story

So, I decided to do a Pokemon Gender Bender AU.
Not all characters will be gender swapped (like Professor Oak, or the Rocket Trio), but I want to swap all the other main characters.
For Example:
Ashley - Ashley is an only child that lived with her mother, Delia Ketchum (Ashley's father left home to go on a journey right after she was born, and never returned since. As he never registered his name in the Pokémon Trainer's list, his whereabouts are unknown.), until she left for her Pokémon journey at the age of ten. Her main goal in life, is to be the world's greatest Pokémon Master. She is very similar to her male counterparty: stubborn, incredibly brave and friendly. She also has a carefree and adventurous personality and act very tomboyish, and Pikachu is still her best buddy. In the beginning, Ashley had a bit of an inferiority complex, as well as some form of personal pride, most likely stemming from his rivalry with Garyn Oak. As a result, she had some bad habits, such as shamelessly boasting of his own skill if she were ever on a winning streak.
Brookes(female!Brock) is like her cool big sis and menthor figure. She and Mitch(male!misty) constantly bicker with each other…and they also have a crush on each other. It's the only way Ashley knows to express her feelings, while Mitch is a secretly-kind jerk, who is not able to admit his feelings. This is obvious to everyone except them. Confront them with the obvious, and they'll deny it. When one gets clued in, they will do every thing in their power to play it off.
So I did Ashley here, Brookes and….(male!Misty?)
I've beem calling him "Maverick" or "Mitch" but I'm don't like it…
It's…pretty difficult to find a name for male Misty that is similar to the original and is also related to water. Does anyone has a suggestion?
Advertising
While we seem to have a small population frequenting this board we're gonna run out of reasons to come back before long, here, aside from the ongoing quest. I'm thinking we should try and advertise through TF and TG threads on /d/ (8chan /d/). I've tried to not-so-subtly inform a few people on halfchan /d/ but the TF threads there don't last long anyway.
Aside from that I think we need to focus sharing TF stories & games while bringing in people to participate in RP-type stuff, since we're already running out of images, and especially bring in any writers/artists/programmers that we can. Once we've got more people, I think more images will come too.
So, if anyone's got anywhere to advertise for this board, speak up or do it. To have even a semi-active TF board would be awesome on so many levels. Also, is the board owner here? I haven't seen any recent activity.
