I really think I’m going to die alone, because everything I’ve experienced so far in my life points to that. Honestly, I don’t understand why women are never interested in me, since I’m not unattractive, I treat them with the utmost respect, and I have a certain level of knowledge and cultural sophistication—unlike the other guys they usually end up with. Sometimes I feel like they hate me without me ever having done anything to them, and they look at me strangely, from what I can tell. Whenever I try to get a woman’s attention, she shows up with another guy, which leaves me, in a way, outraged. How can a cultured and kind man be treated like an idiot? Besides, I met a woman who was incredibly beautiful and piqued my interest, but she’s so shallow and petty with her group of friends—which includes a gay guy who’s just as shallow.

I don't have high standards for women; the point is that I feel lonely in my romantic and personal life. On top of that, I feel like many of the women around me are very shallow and pay attention to shallow men, and they can't see men who are truly interesting—not to mention that they're extremely focused on silly and sexual matters.

That just means you’re looking in the wrong places. You know, like going to a club and trying to find a religious virgin. Maybe it’s your city, maybe it’s the state, or maybe it’s just the specific spots where you’re trying to meet them.

Go to the library, meet people online based on your interests and hobbies, join clubs, hit up museums or exhibitions, get involved in projects or events, and hey, look around at work or school, too. Your chances of finding someone who isn't shallow are way higher in those places.

You can mix it up and meet girls in both random settings and places centered around specific interests. It’s all about time and effort. Of course, it’s going to be tough - you could spend a whole year looking for a girl only to realize the city is full of nothing but vapid staceys. Just think about where the fuck you live. And give online a shot, too - through communities, shared interests, hobbies, and all that. Basically, combine your approaches. You can mix it all up: random online + specialized online (interests/hobbies) + random IRL + specialized IRL (interests/hobbies/museums/libraries) + random IRL encounters. Just fucking talk to people, approach them, send messages, you dumbass. You’re the one who needs this, not them.

Think about whether you’re actually a decent guy. Maybe you’ve got traits that scare girls off, and you’re just too blind to see it.
