After serving in a high-ranked lawyer firm until 2017, he applied with Trump to once again become the Director of the FBI. He didn't get the job, however after the talk with Trump and later with Rostenstein, he was appointed to lead the Special Counsel investigation into the Russia affair of 2016 elections and crimes that arise from that investigation. At first, both D & R's were enthousiast and voted him in that role.
For Trump & admin to awaken the public about 'fake news', politically motivated news et al, a grand finale was set on the Mueller report. A truthful investigation into crimes that didn't happen, will bring up nothing. Trump knew that, as he was the prime party being investigated. Unrelated to the factual investigation of Mueller, Trump admin began setting up the decor and movie elements needed. The goal being to once and for all, show people how easily yet successfully D's set a wrong narrative when the truthful narrative might hurt them.
The first criticism came from a US congressman and BUSINESSMAN. At that moment, the show to the 'awoken' public started, showing D's slowly but surely started to sperge out for the Mueller report, surfing on the Mueller investigation and side-speculation to show how evil Donald Trump must be! These people are dumb, they are predictable.
The Mueller investigation and its entire -yet redacted- dossier will soon be released, showing to the public a factual, objective, 'boring' investigation into crimes that didn't happen. There is no fancy stuff there. It didn't happen, clear. All the rest you are hearing, reading or getting to know about crimes that DID occur around and before that time, is due to a completely separate investigation in the actual crimes. Again. It's not part of the 'boring' Mueller investigation, it's a completely separate investigation that we are getting that info from.
It's the counter investigation by Trump and it's entire administration.
Once the public sees the boring Mueller dossier, many will observe and agree it has been incredibly hyped by the D's. Around this time, more and more information from the ACTUAL investigations will come up. After years of building up the investigations and anticipating narrative-spinning D's, it will soon be time for pain.

Senate Leaders Want Information On ‘Highly Classified’ FBI Memo About Clinton
The FBI drafted a secret and ‘highly classified’ memo in May 2016 regarding the bureau’s Midyear investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server that she used to send classified government emails but never submitted it to then Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, according to a letter written by three Republican Senators and delivered to Attorney General William Barr.
Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Lindsey Graham, R-SC; Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee Charles Grassley, R-Iowa and Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee Ron Johnson sent the letter to Barr Wednesday requesting information obtained by Inspector General Michael Horowitz about the bureau’s secret memo.
Last year, the Senate Judiciary Committee sent a ‘classified letter’ to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz requesting the information he referred to in the appendix of the report: “A Review of Various Actions by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice in Advance of the 2016 Election.” At the time, Grassley was the chairman of the Judiciary committee.
The letter stated that on “July 31, 2018, the Judiciary Committee requested a briefing on the steps the Department has taken, or plans to take, in light of the report’s findings.” They were denied the briefing due to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation.
Later “in a subsequent phone call with Department personnel on September 17, 2018, the Department declined to brief the Judiciary Committee, asserting without any clear basis, that it would interfere with Special Counsel Mueller’s equities,” the letter states.
“Now that the Special Counsel’s investigation has concluded, we are unaware of any legitimate basis upon which the Department can refuse to answer the Judiciary Committee’s inquiries,” the chairman told Barr in the letter.
According to Horowitz’s report, late into the FBI’s investigation into Clinton, the bureau then “considered obtaining permission from the Department to review certain classified materials that may have included information potentially relevant to the Midyear investigation.” The bureau drafted a memo in 2016 to then Deputy Attorney General Yates.
The FBI said the review of the “highly classified materials was necessary to complete the investigation” but then never submitted the memo to Yates. According to the IG the FBI said it believed “this information would not materially impact the conclusion.”
The explanation is “inconsistent with the memorandum’s self-identified purpose and demands clarification,” the Republican chairmen told Barr in their letter. The Republicans are requesting access to Horowitz’s classified appendix regarding the bureau’s explanation for not submitting the memo.
“The classified appendix raises significant issues associated with the FBI’s failure to review certain highly classified information in support of its Midyear investigation,” it states.

A website cofounded by journalist Glenn Greenwald has published emails suggesting that a former Tribune Washington bureau national security reporter submitted some of his work to CIA officials prior to publication, a practice banned by many media outlets, including Tribune.
Ken Dilanian, a former staff writer for the newspaper chain that includes the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune, had a "closely collaborative relationship with the CIA," according to the article, published Thursday by the online news site the Intercept.
In documents made public by the website, Dilanian appeared to promise positive news coverage and on occasion sent the CIA press office entire story drafts for review prior to publication. In at least one instance, the CIA's reaction appears to have led to significant changes in a story eventually published by Tribune newspapers, according to the emails.
"I'm working on a story about congressional oversight of drone strikes that can present a good opportunity for you guys," Dilanian wrote in one email to a CIA press officer, explaining that what he intended to report would be "reassuring to the public" about CIA drone strikes, according to the Intercept.
In another exchange, the website reported, Dilanian sent a full draft of an unpublished report about drone strikes along with the subject line, "does this look better?" In another, he directly asks the agency officer: "You wouldn't put out disinformation on this, would you?"
David Lauter, chief of the Tribune Washington bureau, said the emails suggest a possible violation of Tribune news policy.
"We have a very clear rule that has been in place for quite a few years that tells reporters not to share copies of stories outside the newsroom," Lauter said. "I am disappointed that the emails indicate that Ken may have violated that rule.
"We don't have reason to believe that any of the stories we published were in any way inaccurate," Lauter added.
Dilanian left Tribune in May to join the Associated Press, and the emails released by the CIA cover only a few months of his tenure with Tribune, the Intercept said.
Paul Colford, director of media relations for the AP, said: "We were satisfied that any pre-publication exchanges that Ken had with the CIA before joining AP were in pursuit of accuracy in his reporting on intelligence matters."
Dilanian declined to comment.
Greenwald is a former reporter for the Guardian who has reported extensively on national security issues. He cofounded the Intercept in part as a means of reporting on documents uncovered by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden.

The lure of easy money to be made by selling illegal drugs is huge. The large amounts of cash generated mean the drug dealers can arm themselves with machine guns and automatic weapons. It is a dangerous job trying to stop the flow of drugs across our borders and within our cities.
The War on Drugs is failing and, in an effort to justify its continued existence, the DEA changed course in the early days of the Obama Administration. It started to focus more on prescription drugs and their abuse. Coke and heroin are still problems on our streets, but instead they have chosen to go after people who don't shoot back: people who are in the business of treating those of us who live with chronic pain.
95% of all illegal prescription drugs sold on the streets come from thefts from pharmacies, warehouses and trucks. So only 5% comes from illegally diverted prescriptions. With those figures, you would think the DEA would target the thieves, but nope. They don't bring in cash and lots of it. They go after doctors. Some doctors who ran and do run pill mills. These doctors are very few and far between. But yet the DEA still go after Doctors and capture 2% of the illegal Heroin & Fentanyl flooding the USA.
Is it because the DEA got some terrible ratings and possibly would lose government funding that they decided it was easier and more lucrative to go after Doctors & Pharmacies, instead of going after street dealers and the cartels? The DEA contends that they only go after the really egregious cases, but the evidence doesn't support that.

If you direct your attention to the bottom of the graphic, you'll notice that not only did #kirstengillibrand engage the law firm of Perkins Coie (see last link for connection to Spygate) for her 2018 campaign, she spent $65,665 on their services. "They Don't Have Enough": How Turkey Is Misrepresenting Its FX Reserves By 100%

Three weeks ago, when Turkey was scrambling to defend the lira ahead of local municipal elections, a potentially destabilizing event which saw significant selling of the currency (and which ended up badly for Erdogan's ruling AKP party, which lost control of the two most important cities, Ankara and Istanbul), we reported that "the Turkish central bank had burnt through at least a third of its foreign reserves in March in an effort to stem a plunge in the lira", in a repeat of the crisis that engulfed the lira last summer and triggered a blast of inflation and the first recession in a decade, and was "putting the country on path to a full-blown currency and funding crisis."
There was just one problem: the central bank appears to have been if not lying, then grossly misrepresenting the true state of the country's foreign reserves .
As it turns out, Turkey has been pulling a financial trick popularized by China's PBOC for the past several years, and according to the FT, the country's central bank was propping up its foreign currency reserves with billions of dollars of short-term borrowed money, "raising fears among analysts and investors that the country is overstating its ability to defend itself in a fresh lira crisis."
After tumbling from a recent high of $34 billion to $25 billion at the end of March, Turkey reported that the net foreign reserves held by the central bank stood at $28.1 billion in early April — a sum which the FT notes was already believed to be inadequate because of Turkey’s heavy need for dollars to cover debt and foreign trade. But what the Financial Times uncovered is that this total was "enhanced" by a surge in the use of swaps, or short-term borrowings, since March 25. Stripping those swaps out, the total is an alarmingly low $16 billion, an amount which could be depleted in just months, if not weeks, especially if the news of the CB's plunging reserves creates a self-fulfilling prophecy in which lira holders rush to convert their currency before the central banks runs out of dollars.
The chart below shows two sets of numbers: Turkey's true net foreign reserves, and the number that the central bank had used for public consumption, which includes the nominal amount of swaps.
To be sure, the Turkish currency market has been a shitshow for the past month: at the end of March, just days ahead of the elections, Turkey pulled another popular Chinese trick, when in an attempt to crush speculators and lira shorts, it briefly pushed up its overnight swap rates to 1350%, a level which resulted in swift condemnation from the international finance community which was furious at the ridiculous tricks pulled by the Erdogan government, as it instantly locked up the local financial system making international currency transfers impossible.
Then, once the central bank realized it couldn't keep swap rates at stratospheric levels for long, it decided to change its approach, and opted to lie about its reserve situation instead. So, starting roughly around the time the overnight swap rate collapsed back to normal on March 28.
What exactly are these swaps? Stated simply, this is money that Turkey borrowed from the country's commercial banks, which just so happens, are flush with dollars after individuals and companies flocked to hard currency as a haven.
For those following the fund flows, this circular arrangement was a delightfully Machiavellian construct by Erdogan: first, as a result of its collapsing reserves, the central bank prompted fears among the local population that its funding situation was unsustainable, forcing a surge in lira to dollar conversions among the local population (and foreign speculators). However, since the dollars that were received following the conversion were parked with the local banks, the central bank had easy access to use them - in the form of swaps - and as it received more dollars from the commercial banks, it not only could defend the lira further, using the people's money against them, but also misrepresent the true level of its net foreign reserves!
The bottom line is that they don’t have enough, whether it’s net or gross,” Ash added. "Everyone in the market knows that Turkey doesn’t have enough foreign currency reserves to mount a sustained and credible defence of the lira."
The only question is when will the price of the lira, which at the current level of 5.75 vs the dollar is wildly overvalued, start reflecting Turkey's dismal situation.
