qmap owner here. Not sure if Q's post about "post tracking site" refers to qmap censoring/adjusting user counts. But let me explain what happened past 2 days if it does.
ResignationAnon was claiming on twitter that he found a way to inflate qmap's user count. He created a script that could create endless sessions and he used it the other days when qmap counts jumped 200K+ rather quickly. I contacted him, did some testing, and it does look like he found a problem.
So I spent hours yesterday trying to figure out a new way to represent online counts. The old way was counting user session over the past 24 hours. The new way was to count unique user IPs in the past 30 minute (instead of 24 hours).
This has caused a lot of confusion which I am sorry about. I've decided to just remove the counters for now. Last thing I want to do is interfere with the plan!

An anon yesterday pointed out that the counter was tracking accesses, maybe not unique visitors. They ran a script making 10,000 requests and the counter went up by 10,000.
So qmap.pub changed it to show the count over half an hour, but that clearly wasn't the best solution, kek. Not sure if that was unique visitors either.
It's actually quite a hard thing to get right without a lot of tracking help, cookies etc.
Website counters have always been BS, so I'm not sure what the right solution is frankly.
I haven't checked if they are using cookies, but I'd just add up session cookies and hope that it all averages out. Show the 24 hour total, and the users in the last half hour or whatever. Maybe set an Ajax callback to count browsers left open too…

But suddenly evidence of Ukrainian interference into the election to help Hillary surfaced and they had a high problem. If someone (only one interview) would connect the Ukrainians they could not bury it. This because of how they earlier had used this line from the appointment order so wide as they could; "any matters that arose or might arise directly from the investigation" (ii).
That would be devastating for the narrative. Even if Mueller is a bad or good actor this would have effect. Because if it is another more under the radar investigation into HRC and her campaign, this could compromise that.
So either way, they had to shut down.

Ukraine’s top prosecutor divulged in an interview aired Wednesday on Hill.TV that he has opened an investigation into whether his country’s law enforcement apparatus intentionally leaked financial records during the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign about then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort in an effort to sway the election in favor of Hillary Clinton.
The leak of the so-called black ledger files to U.S. media prompted Manafort’s resignation from the Trump campaign and gave rise to one of the key allegations in the Russia collusion probe that has dogged Trump for the last two and a half years.

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko told Hill.TV’s John Solomon in an interview aired on Wednesday that he has opened a probe into alleged attempts by Ukrainians to interfere in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
“Today we will launch a criminal investigation about this and we will give legal assessment of this information,” Lutsenko said last week.
Lutsenko is probing a claim from a member of the Ukrainian parliament that the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), Artem Sytnyk, attempted to influence the 2016 vote to the benefit of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
