China Starts "Debt Shaming": New App Warns Users If They Are Walking Near Someone In Debt

Authorities in the northern Chinese province of Hebei have rolled out an app over WeChat which can tell people if they're walking near someone in debt, according to China Daily.

The program, aptly named "map of deadbeat debtors," flashes a warning if someone in debt is within a 500-meter radius - showing their exact location according to a screenshot of the app.

Whether the app reveals the debtors' names or photos is unknown, nor does China Daily mention how much money is owed or to whom - but according to paper the app allows people to "whistle-blow on debtors capable of paying their debts."

"It's a part of our measures to enforce our rulings and create a socially credible environment," said a spokesman for the Higher People's Court of Hebei - which is behind the app.

The "map of deadbeat debtors" is yet the latest in China's push towards a shame-based "social credit score" system which has already been deployed in several parts of the country. According to a November report, Beijing has an ambitious plan to control China's citizens through a system of social scoring that punishes behavior it does not approve.

I often get information in dreams but not very often and only in symbolic form. This dream was sometime after 911. Seems to refer to this exact moment in time and what goes on here in QResearch. Like a pointer.

DREAM:

I am in a bustling marketplace within a bakeshop. There is a baker and an enormous mound of rising bread on a square wooden table.

Then I see a carnival ride with Disney-like teacups with 3 seats arranged in a triangle. You get in, and it goes into a dark area, like a scary ride.

On the other side is a bank; has a 1776-ish feeling. For some reason, two things come to mind: Alexander Hamilton and $25,000.

I must make a decision: to be involved or not. I guess I say no (although I don't remember it). I am returned to the marketplace, but now it is all boarded up and deserted. I try to go to the front of the bank, but it is secured with a very heavy chain.

I feel completely desolate. Like it was a failed test. As a result, I never forget this dream. Six months ago, I come onto this board and realize it's all about the American Revolution, bakers, bread (both real and money), and banks.

In the last month, "Hamilton" has become a big deal. Why? Many theories. For me, it's a link to the dream.

The teacup ride into the dark has something to do with children in danger, I think, and going down the rabbit hole. You can't go into the bank directly, only thru this secret back way.

Trump preparing two State of the Union speeches for different audiences

President Donald Trump is preparing for two different State of the Union speeches – one a more traditional address delivered to Congress in the House chamber or some other location in D.C., the other prepared for a political rally at a location outside of Washington, D.C. that has yet to be determined, according to multiple sources familiar with the planning.

Sources told ABC News that the president was previously planning two separate versions of the State of the Union – one version if the government was still shut down and another if the government was open.

However, now the planning has evolved, assuming the government shutdown could drag on past next Tuesday – the expected delivery date of the address. If the president decides to deliver a speech in rally form, it would mark the first rally style event the president has attended since the partial shutdown began.

As part of the ongoing political tit-for-tat between Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., Republicans are encouraging Trump to force Pelosi to officially disinvite him, by suggesting the president announce he still intends to deliver the State of the Union from the House chamber, according to Republican sources involved in the discussions.

A senior administration official confirmed to ABC News that the White House has sent an email to the House Sergeant at Arms requesting a walkthrough of the chamber to prep for the State of the Union address. The White House is still moving forward as planned on the address as they wait to hear whether Pelosi is officially rescinding her invitation.
