Kyle Singler posts unsettling videos aimed at Coach K: ‘I need your help’ 1/2

Former Duke star Kyle Singler called out ex-coach Mike Krzyzewski in a series of three startling videos posted to his Instagram account late Tuesday night.
Singler, who played for Krzyzewski from 2007-11 and won a national championship together,claimed his former coach “dismissed” him while also begging for help.
“Man, Coach K has set me up,” Singler said in the first video, captioned “Where u &,” while pacing inside a residence.“Set me up, man. I have no power. I have no house. I’ve reached out to coach and everybody has turned the other way. I’ve reached out to coach and he has fully dismissed the message. You guys are cutting my power off, breaking into my house, stealing money, ruining my life. I reached out to Coach K and all he did was sit me on the bench. Thanks, man.
“Is that what we’re doing at that school, sending people down, teaching them up? Cool beans, man. …Coach, where you at? Help a brother out. Thought we were on the same team, man.”
These videos are thelatest in what’s been a concerning two-plus-years stretch for the 38-year-old former NBAer that has many concerned about his well-being.
In the second video — which he posted twice — captioned, “Now we talk’n,” Singler questioned society before again pivoting back to the Hall of Famer coach.
He also alleged that people are “trying to kill me” and claimed he’s the victim of crimes.
“I’m out in Oklahoma, I go out walking the street, I get pulled, I get arrested, I get f–king checked, I get kicked out of restaurants,” Singler, who played parts of four seasons in Oklahoma City for the Thunder, said while again pacing.
“I can’t even live anymore. Can’t even say, ‘Hey, how’s it going?’ without confrontation. I’ve reach out to coach, again everybody knows what’s going on, I’m living in a whole other world. Coach, I need your help, man.
“I’m stuck at my house and I can’t leave, I feel imprisoned. Where we at? Leaving people stranded. I’ve tried to share messages about where we’re at and back home I got people, my friends, family, devastated and gone, died, and again my life’s on the line. I got people breaking into my house, jacking money, breaking into my accounts. And you know what? Duke’s all about it. I got Duke begging for my money. Everybody’s after my money, trying to kill me. What’s going on? What’s the deal? … Seems like people got a lot of anger and a lot of violence and a lot of retribution on their mind.
“Coach, you got a former player being mistreated and abused and you ain’t doing nothing, man. Help out.”
In the final video, captioned “What are we doi’n,” Singler said all his accounts are frozen and claimed he’s being watched.
“Well, coach, I need your help, I’m locked in my house and I have no freedom anymore,” Singler said. “Everyone again is attacking me for green, so have at it well. If anyone can he helpful to understand where we’re at and there are a lot of people attacking people for money, greed…

Many have worried about Singler and his mental health in recent years while he’s posted numerous troubling videos.
In November 2024, he shared Instagram videos in which he said:“I fear for my life every day.”
Several days later,Singler again posted another troublesome video, this time opining on the “a religious war right now across the map.”
That first video resulted in Kevin Love and others responding and offering support, as well as the NBA Players Association.
Singler played in the NBA for six seasons from 2012-2018 after being drafted in the second round in 2011.
Last October, Oklahoma police arrested Singler for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
The probable cause affidavitalleged that Singler appeared to have taken drugs and chased his girlfriend and their child, threatening her with rape after she would not have sex with him before assaulting her.
She purportedly had marks on her face and arms.
Singler posted another instagram video two months laterand claimed “I don’t feel safe,” while alleging this child “is being sexually, physically, emotionally, spiritually abused.”
He also took a shot at his alma mater, saying “F–k, ya’ll. Duke, Medford (Ore.), everybody.”
