America has been subjected to the political will of our allies in the Gulf and the EU, and as a result, our bases are no longer as effective or utilized. As we move away from NATO, it would be imperative to shift those cost savings towards new breeds of Naval assets that can give the US rapid deployment of ground troops with keeping dispersion in mind. Although we do have Marine expedition units, the amount of payload and time to transfer and be online is not adequate for our true capabilities. The US has about 4k tanks, 400k armored vehicles, and 600k artillery units but the capabilities to be onshore, online, safe and operational takes days to months depending on the deployments and crisis situations. We need to hit the mark of 1k combined mechanized units deployed within 1 hour, going forward due to threats of ballistic, hypersonic, and drone capabilities. Part of the first wave should include Patriot, THAAD, and anti-drone deployments that are 100% available as they hit the shores without the overhead of setup. This will safeguard all other incoming assets that might need a limited time for online setups. ThankQ for your attention to this matter.
