here are the photos of keeping cats in yard and it works, nothing fancy. Works great and inexpensive.

Just rolls of fencing with samll holes, rabbit fencing, concrete anchor screws and washers for support. Cut the fencing length wise to create two lengths from one roll as you only need it to be a a fot and ahalf or so wide, bend or crimp to attatch to the wall, or even a wood fence. We simply laid the length of the fence on concrete, used a piece of wood, like a 1x2, to lay acrcoss the fencing, and then used a rubber mallet to quickly just hammer a bend in the wire fence, then used a drill to wuickly attach to the wall (our fence). we used wire snips to cut to fit the areas where the fence is not flat. super easy, works well for years.

so the picture with the tree is the idea to do the same on bat pole, cat will not be able to get up the pole if you put the same idea, but as a round skirt, just angle it a bit and the cat will not try to cimb as it confuses them to even try to climb.

So, if you do a bat cave you have the idea, to make the pole unaccesible to cats, by incoroating this idea, but use the tree skirt as the example.

Putting a bat cave in a tree is a bad way to do it as predatory animals can get to the bats too easily, a lone pole is better. Cats and other animals will climb the tree and kill the bats.

This rabbit fencing, bent at angle works anywhere you need cats kept in or out.

No cats other than my own are ever in my yard…cats will raom the fence and look in, but they never come into my yard as this fence confuses the ones that want to come in yard also.
