Look at the AT&T situation this year. AT&T is one of the biggest fraudulent H1B offenders of 2024, AT&T forced thousands of US employees to join India-based Wipro or be fired. First they filled Wipro's ranks with American workers doing the same job at Wipro as they were before. Wipro then forces the American "contract" employees to train their replacements. Then they fire the US worker, post the American's jobs for hire, never interviewing a single American. Then Wipro brings in an Indian indentured H1B visa hostage to slave for AT&T. Critically, that man is deliberately underskilled.

Of fucking course he's going to work hard and never complain or ask for a competitive wage because Wipro is his only chance to come to America. They pull these guys from slums, put them through STEM diploma mills in India, then pull them in like replaceable throwaway dolls. It they don't

perform they are sent packing. Wipro has these guys living 15 to an apartment. AT&T executives are fully aware of this H1B fraud and look the other way while American jobs are sold to indentured indian visa holders. It's criminal and inhumane to all parties, but no one is investigating. This is happening AT SCALE at AT&T right now and the government is turning a blind eye to billions in lost wages to some of America's most qualified engineers.
