A recent loud complaint about a gender identity book for children caused the Murfreesboro City School Board to take a recent meeting recess.

The picture book, "It Feels Good to Be Yourself," by writer Theresa Thorn and illustrator Noah Grigni "introduces the concept of gender identity to the youngest reader, according to a description from an Amazon website.

John Amanchukwu signed up to speak during public comments Tuesday, Dec. 10, about "October revenue," following the board's requirement that public comments only be about action agenda items.

Amanchukwu spoke, as recorded on Murfreesboro CityTV, with a packed audience that included supporters, including Rutherford County Board of Education member Caleb Tidwell.

“And how we use these funds matters because we want to put the best things before children," said Amanchukwu, who held up the book in question and began to read. “When you open the book it says, 'Some people are boys. Some people are girls. Some people are both. Neither are somewhere in between.'"

Tidwell has been a leader of the majority of the county board's efforts to remove 40 of the 196 books pulled from school libraries because of concerns the titles violate the state obscenity laws by being sexually explicit.

Ukrainian chef outrages Christians by filming show in iconic monastery

Evgeny Klopotenko shot part of a Christmas program in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, in an episode that has been blasted as “sacrilege”

A renowned Ukrainian chef has come under fire after filming an episode of his culinary show in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, which has been at the center of religious tensions in the country, with many accusing him of blasphemy. He insists, however, that the move was not intended to offend people,but only to promote Ukrainian culture.

The scandal erupted after Evgeny Klopotenko aired a Christmas special on Saturday, part of which took place in the dining hall of thecountry’s largest Orthodox monastery, which was erected in 1051. The episode focused on Ukrainian cuisine.

”While the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC) was [in control],I could only dream of this – filming… a Christmas episode about Ukrainian sacred dishes in the refectory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra,”Klopotenko said. He explained that the religious site and its archives are essentially the only remaining source of knowledge about the country’s ancient cuisine, including dumplings filled with carp caviar, onions and millet, and pea jelly.

The Kiev Pechersk Lavra has historically been administered by the UOC, which came under an unprecedented crackdown after the outbreak of the conflict with Russia, with the Ukrainian authorities accusing the church of having ties to Moscow, which the UOC has denied.

Kiev has been trying for months to wrestle control of the Lavra from the UOCwhile allowing the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), which is considered schismatic by both the UOC and the Russian Orthodox Church, to hold services there.

The Christmas show sparked a massive outcry on social media, with some denouncing whatthey called a “horror” and “shame for the entire Ukraine.” “An Orthodox believer cannot bear to watch this,” one commenter said.

“Do you even understand where you were? It is disgusting,” another wrote.

Aleksandr Klimenko, a UOC priest, called the show a “sacrilege,” adding that he was not surprised by this type of offense coming from the “new masters” of the monastery.He noted that the refectory is a place where the clergy quietly eat and pray to the Lord. “This is… not a place for TV shows,” he said.

Klopotenko dismissed the criticism, saying the show was filmed in accordance with church etiquette and after consultation with the clergy, and that they used the refectory only to show the food, not to cook it.

”I’m sorry that some people had negative feelings about it. My goal was not to hurt the feelings of the faithful; on the contrary, I wanted to share with you something kind and bright,”the chef said.

The Transfiguration Cathedral, one of the oldest Orthodox churches in Ukraine and which dates back to the early 11th century, has been turned into a makeshift movie theater, according to an MP.

The issue has been highlighted by Artyom Dmitruk, a Ukrainian lawmaker known for his public opposition to the Kiev government’s crackdown on the country’s largest Christian denomination, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC). The MP was ultimately forced to flee the country over his views and is now being sought by Ukrainian authorities.

Dmitruk has cited imagery circulating online to back up his assertions.The building was seized by authorities last year.

“[Vladimir] Zelensky’s dogs, having seized the most ancient cathedral in Ukraine, set up a cinema in it and removed all the icons,” Dmitruk wrote on his Telegram channel, claiming that people attending the ‘cinema’ have been charged 20 hryvnias (about 50 cents) for entry.

A Kilometer High Cliff on Comet Churyumov - Gerasimenko

This kilometer high cliff occurs on the surface of a comet. It was discovered on the dark nucleus of Comet Churyumov - Gerasimenko (CG) by Rosetta, a robotic spacecraft launched by ESA, which orbited the comet from 2014 to 2016. The ragged cliff, as featured here, was imaged by Rosetta early in its mission. Although towering about one kilometer high, the low surface gravity of Comet CG would likely make a jump from the cliffs by a human survivable. At the foot of the cliffs is relatively smooth terrain dotted with boulders as large as 20 meters across. Data from Rosetta indicates that the ice in Comet CG has a significantly different deuterium fraction and hence likely a different origin than the water in Earth's oceans. The probe was named after the Rosetta Stone, a rock slab featuring the same text written in three different languages that helped humanity decipher ancient Egyptian writing.

Another Pandemic Is Inevitable, and We’re Not Ready

President-elect Trump’s picks to lead the nation’s top public health agencies also don’t inspire confidence.

Every week or so, scientists issue another warning that the H5N1 bird flu is inching closer to exploding into a pandemic. Despite having contended with a pandemic that broke out less than five years ago, the US has no solid plan to handle a new one — nor have our leaders done anything to incorporate the lessons learned from the government’s less-than-ideal handling of Covid-19.

Too many Americans died from Covid because the public health community took too long to issue warnings, was slow to create tests to assess the situation, and was sluggish in shifting its response to fit the data on airborne transmission. The much-criticized lockdowns could have been less disruptive and saved more lives had they been periodically adjusted as data changed on who was most at risk and which activities were riskiest.

Already, some of the same mistakes can be seen in the response to H5N1, which started in poultry before a new variant began infecting the nation’s dairy cows. The US Department of Agriculture announced last week that it would start sampling the nation’s milk supply to test for the virus. California instituted a recall of some raw milk and raw milk products after samples tested positive. But there’s a lot more that could be done to reduce the odds of this situation leading to a pandemic.

Moreover, President-elect Donald Trump’s picks to lead the nation’s top public health agencies — the officials who would be in charge of any pandemic response — have prompted concerns among scientists and health experts. They include Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a vaccine skeptic and raw milk enthusiast, for the top job of secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. He also has ties to the California producer whose farm was the subject of the state’s recall after several batches of raw milk products tested positive for the virus. The farmer told Politico he’s been asked to apply for the position of “raw milk adviser” at the Food and Drug Administration.

Trump’s pick to run the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, former Representative Dave Weldon, pushed false theories about childhood vaccines as a member of Congress and was a critic of the CDC and its vaccine program. And to lead the National Institutes of Health, Trump has named Jay Bhattacharya, author of the Great Barrington Declaration, which criticized the government’s Covid response and promoted the theory — based on bad science — that the pandemic would end quickly through herd immunity. Marty Makary, who Trump picked to head the FDA, promoted the same notion of herd immunity as he promised that even without vaccination, Covid would disappear in several months.

We likely won’t know how these officials might handle the next crisis until their Senate confirmation hearings early next year……..

Ukraine will have to trade land for peace – EU state’s president

A “realistic” ceasefire deal will involve some territorial losses for Kiev, Peter Pellegrini has

The Ukraine conflict will not be resolved until Kiev accepts some “partial territorial losses,”Slovak President Peter Pellegrini has said. Pellegrini and Prime Minister Robert Fico have both called on Russia and Ukraine to enter immediate peace talks.

Speaking to Slovakia’s STVR broadcaster on Sunday, Pellegrini said thatdaily updates from the front line have convinced him that Ukraine cannot hope to achieve its territorial goals– the return of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, Zaporozhye and Crimea – by force.

“When it comes to peace, I believe that we need to remain realistic,” he told the network. “Today, probablyno sane person in Europe believes that it will be possible to achieve peace without some partial territorial losses for Ukraine.”

The president then called on Ukraine and Russia to sit down at the negotiating table as soon as possible.

Pellegrini’s comments echo those made by Fico earlier this week. Speaking to Brazil’s Folha de Sao Paulo news outlet, the Slovak prime minister said that it isnecessary to be “at least a little realistic” and to “admit that Russia will never leave Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk.”

After taking office last year, Fico immediately halted military aid from Bratislava to Kiev, and vowed to veto Ukraine’s potential accession to NATO. He has also accused “Ukrainian Nazis and fascists” of starting the conflict by “murdering the Russian population of Donbass,”and hascondemned his fellow EU leaders for prolonging the fighting with military aidand sanctions on Moscow.

“What is the result? The Russians are gaining more and more territory, the sanctions are not working, and Ukraine is no longer strong enough for possible negotiations,” he told Folha de Sao Paulo. Fico also predicted that Kiev will likely be “betrayed” by its Western backers andpossibly end up losing a third of its territories without being invited into NATO, receiving security guarantees only in the form of a foreign troop presence in the country.

Moscow maintains that any settlement must begin with Ukraine ceasing military operations and acknowledging the “territorial reality” that it will never regain control of its former regions. In addition, the Kremlin insists that the goals of its military operation – which include Ukrainian neutrality, demilitarization, and denazification – will be achieved.

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, one of America’s most vital military installations, faced an unsettling breach of its airspace over the weekend, reigniting concerns about the security of critical U.S. defense facilities.

Mysterious drones buzzed over the Ohio base, forcing the temporary closure of its Class Delta airspace late Friday night and into Saturday morning, The War Zone first reported.

The base, home to the Air Force Research Lab, Air Force Material Command, and the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, is a cornerstone of U.S. military operations. Its cutting-edge research and intelligence missions make it a prime target for espionage or malicious activity.

On the night of December 13-14, 2024, Wright-Patterson AFB experienced significant Unidentified Aerial System (UAS) activity, requiring the closure of Class Delta airspace.

Air traffic control issued warnings and instructions to aircraft, including a medical flight (Med Flight 8), to exercise extreme caution and maintain higher altitudes to avoid the drones.

Yet, according to base spokesman Bob Purtiman, the origin of the drones remains unidentified, and their intentions are officially deemed “not malicious.”

“I can confirm small aerial systems were spotted over Wright Patterson between Friday night and Saturday morning,” base spokesman Bob Purtiman told The War Zone on Sunday.

“Today leaders have determined that they did not impact base residents, facilities, or assets. The Air Force is taking all appropriate measures to safeguard our installations and residents,” he added.

He continued that the drones “ranged in sizes and configurations. Our units are working with local authorities to ensure the safety of base personnel, facilities, and assets.”

NASA DAVINCI Mission’s Many ‘Firsts’ to Unlock Venus’ Hidden Secrets

NASA’s DAVINCI — Deep Atmosphere Venus Investigation of Noble gases, Chemistry, and Imaging — mission embodies the spirit of innovation and exploration that its namesake, Leonardo da Vinci, was famous for.

Scheduled to launch in the early 2030s, DAVINCI will explore Venus with both a spacecraft and a descent probe.

DAVINCI’s probe will be the first in the 21st century to brave Venus’ atmosphere as it descends from above the planet’s clouds down to its surface.

Two other missions, NASA’s VERITAS and ESA’s (European Space Agency) Envision, will also explore Venus in the 2030s from the planet’s orbit.

The DAVINCI spacecraft will study Venus’ clouds and highlands during two flybys.

It also will release a spherical probe, about 3 feet wide, that will plunge through the planet’s thick atmosphere and corrosive clouds, taking measurements and capturing high-resolution images of the Venusian surface as it descends below the clouds.

Here are some of DAVINCI’s coming “firsts” in Venus exploration:

Exploring Solar System’s One-of-a-Kind Terrain

The DAVINCI mission will be the first to closely explore Alpha Regio, a region known as a “tessera.”

So far found only on Venus, where they make up about 8% of the surface, tesserae are highland regions similar in appearance to rugged mountains on Earth.

Previous missions discovered these features using radar instruments, but of the many international spacecraft that dove through Venus’ atmosphere between 1966 and 1985, none studied or photographed tesserae.

Thought to be ancient continents, tesserae like Alpha Regio may be among the oldest surfaces on the planet, offering scientists access to rocks that are billions of years old.

By studying these rocks from above Alpha Regio, DAVINCI scientists may learn whether ancient Venus had continents and oceans, and how water may have influenced the surface.

Photographing One of the Oldest Surfaces on Venus

The DAVINCI probe will capture the first close-up views of Alpha Regio with its infrared and optical cameras; these will also be the first photos of the planet’s surface taken in more than 40 years.

With surface temperatures reaching 900° F and air pressure 90 times that of Earth’s, Venus’ harsh environment makes exploration challenging, while its opaque atmosphere obscures direct views.

Typically, scientists rely on radar instruments from Earth or Venus-orbiting spacecraft to study its terrain.

But DAVINCI’s probe will descend through the atmosphere and below the clouds for a clear view of the mountains and plains. It will capture images comparable to an airplane’s landing view of Earth’s surface.

Scientists will use the photos to compile 3D maps of Alpha Regio that will provide more detail than ever of Venus' terrain, helping them look for rocks that are usually only made in association with water.

West pushing Russia beyond ‘red line’ – Putin

The continued support for Ukraine is aimed at inflicting a “strategic defeat” on Moscow, the president has said

The West’s support for Ukraine ispushing Russia to the point where it cannot help but retaliate, President Vladimir Putin has said, while warning the US against deploying medium-range missiles.

Speaking at a meeting of top Russian Defense Ministry officials on Monday, Putin accused the US of seeking “to weaken our country and inflict a strategic defeat” on Moscowby continuing “to pump a de facto illegitimate ruling regime in Kievwith weapons and money, sending mercenaries and military advisers, thereby encouraging further escalation of the conflict.”

Washington is instilling fear in Americans by resorting to “simple tactics,” Putin stated. “They push us to the red line… we begin to respond, and then they frighten their population,” he added, suggesting that the US used the same approach during its rivalry with the Soviet Union.

The Russian president also slammed the West for what he described as attempts to impose its own rules on the rest of the world while waging “hybrid wars” against anyone who resists, including Russia.

In this vein,NATOis boosting its defense spending andforming “strike groups” near Russia’s borders, he added.

“The number ofAmerican service membersin Europe has alreadyexceeded 100,000 troops,” he noted.

NATO is ramping up its presence not only in Europe but also in regions that have never seen this type of military footprint, particularly the Asia-Pacific, Putin said, voicing particular concerns over US plans to deploy missile systems with a range of up to 5,500km.

Putin was referring to a type of weapon previously banned by the Cold War-era Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty. The US unilaterally pulled out of the treaty in 2018, citing Russian non-compliance – an allegation Moscow has denied.

The Russian president stressed that despite Washington’s withdrawal from the INF Treaty,Moscow made a unilateral and voluntary commitmentnot to deploy medium- and short-range missiles unless the US deploys such weapons anywhere in the world.

However, “if the United States begins to deploy such systems,then all our voluntary restrictions will be lifted,”Putin warned.

Ex-Nasa engineer shot dead in his car while taking smoke break during Warriors game

California authorities are probing the tragic death of a former NASA engineer who was shot while watching a Golden State Warriors game on television Wednesday night.

Earl Rhue, 75, was at a family friend's house with his daughter in Oakland on Wednesday evening when they tuned into the Warriors game, according to local Fox affiliate KTVU.

During a break to smoke outside in his car around 7.30pm on the 2700 block of 9th Avenue, gunshots were heard by his family members.

"We heard a gunshot," recounted Maria Rosa Keys, a family friend, to KTVU. "But the television was on really loud."

She recalled hearing cries for "help" from outside shortly before seeing police lights flashing as officers arrived at the scene, signaling to her that Rhue had been struck by gunfire.

Rhue was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but was tragically declared dead later that night.

His daughter, Maria Martens, who was also present during the incident, expressed her shock to KTVU.

"Shocked to know that's what happened," Martens said. "And how fast it happened."

Keys remembered Rhue fondly, noting that just six months prior, he had spoken at her late husband Calvin's life celebration, highlighting the close friendship between Rhue and Calvin.

Rhue, a former NASA engineer and University of California, Berkeley graduate, was described as a "Renaissance man," by Keys.

Besides his work for NASA, he was also a puppeteer for Children's Fairyland and most recently worked as a food delivery driver.

The shooting occurred when an unidentified suspect attempted to carjack Rhue as he sat in his car smoking. Keys added that Rhue had always been a pillar of strength and comfort for her family.

Keys said, "In addition to the brilliant mind he had, he also just loved people," and "What happened last night was so tragic we're still reeling from it, and we will be for a long time."

Invitation to NATO still a long way off – former Ukrainian FM

The US-led bloc will likely offer Kiev membership in 10-20 years, according to Dmitry Kuleba

Ukraine is unlikely to receive an invitation to join NATO in the next decade, which significantly hinders the possibility of quickly finding a peaceful resolution to the conflict with Russia, former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba has told The Times.

According to Kuleba, the incoming administration of US President-electDonald Trump will have a hard time negotiating a peace deal in Ukraine due to the “fundamental differences” between Moscow and Kiev.

Trump has repeatedly claimed that he will be able to settle the Ukraine conflict “within 24 hours” of entering office next month, though he has yet to explain how. Some have suggested that the president-elect could use future US military and financial aid to Ukraine as a means of getting both sides to the negotiating table.

Kuleba, who recently took up a plum position at a Harvard-based international relations research center, has claimed that a peace deal between the two countries is currently impossible and that “there will be no quick negotiations.”

One of the key reasons for this, according to the former minister, is that NATO will likely offer Ukraine a formal invitation to join the bloc in 10 to 20 years, which he said would be rejected by Kiev.

He suggested that one solution theUkrainian leadership could find acceptable is to have an international peacekeeping force consisting of British and French troopsdeployed to the country while it awaits NATO membership.

Kuleba noted, however, that this proposal is unworkable and that the money for this would be better spent on additional weapons for Ukraine.

“The estimate for the peacekeeping mission is 40,000 troops. Try to stretch 40,000 troops along a 1,500km front line. It will be a very thin red line,” he told the outlet.

Moscow has repeatedly stressed that it would never accept Ukrainian membership in NATO, as this would fundamentally threaten Russia’s national security. Last week, Deputy Foreign MinisterSergey Ryabkov noted that Kiev’s ambition to become a member of the US-led bloc was one of the main reasons Moscow launched its military operation in 2022.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov recently stated in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson that the “key principle is non-bloc-status of Ukraine” and “absolutely” no NATO membership for Kiev.

Could mouse sperm orbiting Earth be the future of humanity?

It’s been a tough few years on planet Earth, with a pandemic ripping across the globe, and an onslaught of record-breaking heatwaves and natural disasters.

Events like these are good examples of why humans need to find a new place to live, according to proponents of the futuristic idea.

Outposts on the moon or Mars could act as an insurance policy against extinction due to catastrophe or self-destruction, they say.

But there’s a lot we don’t know about our ability to survive and thrive in space – including if we can reproduce.

Now, freeze-dried mouse sperm, stored aboard the International Space Station (ISS) in a radiation protection box, could help give us a better understanding of mammals’ ability to procreate off Earth.

When the specimens get back to terra firma next year, Teruhiko Wakayama, a professor at the University of Yamanashi’s Advanced Biotechnology Centre, will study them to determine the impact of the space environment, and if they can be used to create healthy offspring.

Back in his laboratory in Japan, Wakayama is developing a device that will allow astronauts to conduct rodent in vitro fertilization (IVF) aboard the ISS in the coming years. Ultimately, the experiments could help save humankind, he says.

“Our aim is to establish a system for safely and permanently preserving Earth’s genetic resources somewhere in space – whether on the moon or elsewhere – so that life can be revived even if Earth faces catastrophic destruction.”

It may sound straight out of a sci-fi movie, but Wakayama has long been pushing the boundaries with his reproductive studies. In 1997, he and another academic developed a novel method that they used to clone the world’s first mouse from adult cells.

He led a study on the development of mouse embryos in space – something that had previously only been done with creatures like amphibians and fish.

And he and his team pioneered a freeze-drying method used to send mouse sperm to the ISS, where it was stored in a freezer for up to six years.

When the samples got back to Earth, the researchers rehydrated them and produced healthy baby mice.

From that study, they determined that freeze-dried sperm could stay viable for 200 years in space. Although that’s impressive, Wakayama says it’s “absolutely not long enough for our future.”

With his latest space specimens, he’s using a new device to protect sperm stored at room temperature, from radiation, to see if it might be possible to store samples in space indefinitely.

From “Chix in Space” to cosmic cockroaches

For decades, scientists have been launching Earthly creatures into space to study how microgravity and cosmic radiation impact biological processes – including reproduction.

In 1989, for example, 32 fertilized chicken eggs were sent into orbit to study how they’d develop without gravity, in an experiment sponsored by the American fast-food chain KFC, and nicknamed “Chix in Space.”

Tadpoles born on the Space Shuttle Endeavour in 1992 became the first vertebrates to spend the first few days of life in space. There, they swam erratically and struggled to find air bubbles to breathe.

And in 2007, a cockroach named Nadezhda (which means “Hope” in Russian) gave birth to 33 offspring conceived in orbit. They were mostly normal, aside from abnormally dark exoskeletons.

“We have seen that most of the specific phases of the reproductive cycle can occur in space, at least in a species or two, not always completely successfully,” said Virginia Wotring, a professor at the International Space University, a private non-profit institution in Strasbourg, France, devoted to space education.

Medaka fish, a small fish native to rice paddies, marshes and ponds in Japan, and snails, have completed the entire cycle of reproduction in space, Wotring said.

“Going to mammals is the next natural step, to see what parts of it will work,” she added.

When it comes to mice, the freeze-dried mouse sperm Wakayama is currently storing aboard the ISS will return to Earth in 2025 for study.

“Our goal is to preserve [reproductive cells] at room temperature forever,” he says.

Kremlin comments on possibility of truce with Ukraine

Kiev has refused calls for a truce with Russia, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday in response to a question about a Hungarian initiative and the reaction to it by US President-elect Donald Trump’s team.

Last week, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban urged a Christmas ceasefire in the hostilities between Ukraine and Russia, describing it as a last-ditch attempt to mediate a diplomatic resolution of the conflict. He floated the idea to Kiev and Moscow, as well as to Trump, who he personally met at his residence in Florida.

On Sunday, US Congressman Mike Waltz, who Trump has tapped to serve as national security adviser in his future administration, said the transition team is taking “a hard look” at Orban’s idea. Trump has stated on several occasions his intention to push for a ceasefire and a negotiated peace once he is sworn in next month.

”First, the Trump team is not in charge in the White House now,” Peskov said when asked about Waltz’s remarks during a media briefing.Secondly, the Hungarian proposal “was not supported by the Ukrainian side, specifically by [Ukrainian leader Vladimir] Zelensky.”

Orban said Kiev rejected his call for a Christmas truce and prisoner swap with Russia. Zelensky appeared to accuse the Hungarian leader of trying to “boost [his] personal image at the expense of unity” in his response to Orban’s X post about his diplomatic engagements.

Kiev’s rebuttal of Budapest’s initiative reportedly included a refusal to hold a direct phone call between Zelensky and Orban,Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto revealed last week. The gesture was “quite unprecedented in diplomacy” and done “somewhat forcedly and politely,” he told the media. Orban spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin for around an hour last week.

EU leaders are reportedly discussing the potential deployment of their militaries inside Ukraine, provided that a ceasefire is achieved. The troops would be given a peacekeeping mission, according to media reports. Some Russian officials have suggested that Western boots on the ground could be viewed in Moscow as an occupying force.

Peskov reiterated on Monday that it is too early to discuss peacekeeping missions, sinceeven direct negotiations with Kiev remain impossible due to Zelensky’s obstruction.

MOSCOW, 16 December (BelTA) – Deep space exploration may become an ambitious project of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik said during the conference “Union State: Integration, development, trust” held in Moscow and dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Union State Foundation Treaty, BelTA has learned.

"We need to pay special attention to the R&D strategy of the Union State and to develop the integrated research infrastructure. We have already started to jointly explore space.

Developing technologies to explore space, including deep space, to build new satellites and new constellations may become the next ambitious project in this area," the ambassador noted.
