Alec Baldwin's legal team appeared at a virtual hearing to argue against criminal charges for the Hollywood star in connection with the fatal "Rust" movie set shooting that left cinematographer Halyna Hutchins dead and wounded director Joel Souza.

Baldwin was indicted on two counts — involuntary manslaughter, negligent use of a firearm, or, in the alternative, involuntary manslaughter without due caution or circumspection — on Jan. 19. He was not required to show up for the hearing Friday.

Hutchins died Oct. 21, 2021 after Baldwin aimed the gun at her during a scene rehearsal. It was not supposed to be loaded with a live round – but it was.

A group of landscapers doing my neighbors house across the street seemed to have a new Salvachuchan guy just scoping out the area, doing nothing at all but going up and down the block where they have no clients at all. We have to keep an eye on them as two weeks ago they cut the grass of the neighbor to the west of me, who always cuts his lawn 2x a week, and he had a lot of old leaves, yet that neighbor is out there almost every single day of the year working on his property, so that is impossible. They did this to harass us because they didn't pick up the clippings which were most likely were laced, and he wanted them to blow onto our property, which they did. When my wife called me and told me, I went out to watch them, and they got all nervous and tried handing him a few tools that he didn't seem to know how to use, only to give him a push mower and they told him to go to a house next to the western neighbor. I went to go check my mail and looked down the street but he wasn't cutting the lawn. By the time I got back on my steps a few moments later he comes back, and puts the mower in the cart and then he tries with a stand on riding mower only to fall through the ramp and got it stuck. They all packed up quickly and left. Then the western neighbor comes out to cut his lawn but I noticed when I cut the lawn at 10, he already had his lawn cut, and the house where this hyper-drugged up guy went also had someone cutting that lawn too. When the landscapers left, one of the residents of that house also left, right after. Watch them, J & J. Ukraine Formally Asks NATO To Send Troops For First Time, Pentagon Mulling

The continued inevitable and disastrous slide into a WW3 nuclear-armed confrontation between Russian and the West continues as The New York Times reports NATO appears to actually be seriously mulling sending troops to Ukraine to serve in the role as 'trainers' at a moment Kiev is desperate to tap and train up new manpower. And this would be closer to front line positions as well.

"NATO allies are inching closer to sending troops into Ukraine to train Ukrainian forces, a move that would be another blurring of a previous red line and could draw the United States and Europe more directly into the war," NY Times wrote Thursday. What has changed? The Zelensky government is now directly requesting it, apparently on a formal level for the first time of the conflict, according to officials.

The Times confirms "Ukrainian officials have asked their American and NATO counterparts to help train 150,000 new recruits closer to the front line for faster deployment."

The report assures that at this moment anyway, the US is still saying 'no'; however chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr has said an eventual deployment of trainers inside Ukraine looks inevitable. "We’ll get there eventually, over time," he said.

The Joint Chiefs chairman said this while admitting in the next breath that US and NATO trainers positioned in Ukraine would essentially be sitting ducks under the bombs of superior Russian airpower:

For now, he said, an effort inside Ukraine would put “a bunch of NATO trainers at risk” and would most likely mean deciding whether to use precious air defenses to protect the trainers instead of critical Ukrainian infrastructure near the battlefield.
