…It should not surprise us that pluralism and freedom of speech, so praised in countries that claim to be democratic, are daily disavowed by censorship and intolerance towards opinions not aligned with the official narrative. Manipulations of this kind have become the norm during the so-called pandemic, to the detriment of doctors, scientists and dissenting journalists, who have been discredited and ostracized for the mere fact of daring to question the effectiveness of experimental serums. Two years later, the truth about the adverse effects and the unfortunate management of the health emergency has proven them right, but the truth is stubbornly ignored because it does not correspond to what the system wanted and still wants today.

If the world media have so far been able to lie shamelessly on a matter of strict scientific relevance, spreading liesand hiding reality,weshould ask ourselveswhy, in the present situation, they should suddenly rediscover that intellectual honesty and respect for the code of ethics widely denied with Covid.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has produced documents proving that the US-funded bioterror labs in Ukraine were releasaing dangerous pathogens such as anthrax, the plague, cholera and tularemia near the Russian border.

“In the course of the special military operation, evidence of the Kiev regime’s hasty measures to conceal any traces of the military biological program financed by the US Department of Defense in Ukraine has been revealed,” Russian Ministry of Defense spokesperson Igor Konashenkov declared.

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms will be representing the Baptist Church of Saint Augustin and Pastor Rev. Guillaume Roy.

A Québec Baptist church has filed legal action against its provincial government because it mandated COVID jab passports to attend places of worship, arguing such dictates violate freedom of religion.

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) will be representing the Baptist Church of Saint Augustin along with its Pastor Rev. Guillaume Roy. The JCCF announced its application for judicial review on behalf of the church and pastor against the Québec government in a press release sent out late last week.

According to the JCCF, Pastor Roy’s application argues that COVID jab passports “violate Charter-protected freedoms of religion, conscience, association, peaceful assembly, and the right to bodily autonomy.”

“Pastor Roy’s application for judicial review also asks the Court to rule on the government’s failure to consolidate new decrees and orders, which made it almost impossible for the average citizen to understand the law,” says the JCCF.

According to Roy, “We are asking the courts to sanction the abuses committed by the provincial authorities. Never again should we accept that medical officers trade their white coats for sergeants’ uniforms and, in a sort of germaphobic delirium, close churches.”

Library and Archives Canada Purges Website Content It Deems ‘Offensive’

Canada’s chief archivist has ordered the purge of content deemed “offensive” on thousands of national archives webpages, according to internal documents obtained via Access to Information request by Blacklock’s Reporter.

“Much of the content on the Library and Archives Canada website reflects the time at which it was written,” wrote chief archivist Leslie Weir in an email to staff obtained by Blacklock’s.

“We understand much of this outdated historical content no longer reflects today’s context and may be offensive to many.”

In the email, dated June 9, 2021, Weir proposes a disclaimer be put on “content that may offend people,” and called the issue an “urgent situation.”

The website for Library and Archives Canada (LAC) has a web page called “Renewing our web presence,” for which the link is displayed at the top of each page of the site. It says a “multi-year project” is underway to review over 7,000 web pages and has a section on the removal of content.

“Our current website contains information that was written many years ago,” it says. “Unfortunately, it does not always reflect our diverse and multicultural country, often presenting only one side of Canada’s history. LAC acknowledges that some of its online presence is offensive and continues to correct these issues.”

In the internal emails obtained by Blacklock’s, LAC staff appear confused on how to respond to Weir’s sweeping directive to purge offending content.

“The only direction we received from Leslie was ‘offensive content,’” said one manager.

Another manager asked if there was a definition of “offensive content,” to which a colleague replied, “This is not the way to do this.”

“Leslie has asked for us to remove all ‘offensive’ content from the website,” wrote Rebecca Giesbrecht, acting manager of public services. “We are scrambling today to identify what that might be with a rough set of criteria to work with.”

“Flag anything lacking Indigenous perspectives or that ignores or dismisses the impact of colonialism on First Nations, Inuit and the Métis Nation,” wrote Giesbrecht.

According to Blacklock’s, some of the content that was removed includes essays “celebrating Sir John A. Macdonald,” Canada’s first prime minister, as well as articles on French explorers where “Indigenous perspective is missing.”

The media outlet also reported that references to the 1885 Northwest Rebellion were rephrased as the “1885 Resistance,” and a web feature on the War of 1812 was “removed entirely.”

“There is a larger conversation around whether we should pull down ALL interpretive content immediately,” a manager wrote in a June 10 staff email. “We have identified many potentially problematic sites and there’s lots of thinking still to do.”

In a March 2 LAC statement on the current Ukraine-Russia conflict, Weir mused about the key role libraries and archives play as an “essential pillar of democracy.”

“It is often said that the first casualty of war is truth,” she wrote.

“Whether for today or tomorrow, a nation’s public record held by institutions like libraries and archives is an essential pillar of democracy, human rights and the rule of law.”

He says the government needs to make sure the Canadian Armed Forces has the equipment it needs.

All NATO members agreed in 2014 to spend the equivalent of two percent of their GDP on defence in response to Russia’s annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea region.

Last week Germany said it would hike spending to go above that target but Canada’s spending plan still leaves it far short of the two percent goal.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has no doubt worsened Ottawa’s fiscal challenges, but it did not create them. Imprudent spending by the federal government in the years leading up to COVID added billions in debt before the pandemic struck,” said Jake Fuss, co-author and senior economist at the Fraser Institute, in a March 1 press release.

The study, titled “Ottawa’s Pattern of Excessive Spending and Persistent Deficits,” finds that prior to the pandemic, the Liberal government had accumulated $160 billion in debt—an amount that exceeds above and beyond the debt that would have been incurred had the government restrained their spending to the rate of economic growth.

Citing data from the Department of Finance Canada’s (DOF) Fiscal Reference Tables 2021, the authors noted that since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took office in 2015, the federal government ran five successive budget deficits that ranged from $2.9 billion to $39.4 billion between the fiscal years of 2015/16 and 2019/20.

The study contrasted the increase in spending by the Trudeau government with the previous Conservative government under Stephen Harper, who also ran budget deficits for five years from 2010/11 to 2014/15, but with the deficit shrinking yearly from $35 billion to just $550 million before the Conservative government left office in 2015. Canada’s top librarian personally directed her staff to wipe federal websites of content she deemed offensive.

According to Blacklock’s Reporter, chief archivist Leslie Weir told employees at Library and Archives Canada to purge thousands of pages, including a biography of Canada’s first prime minister Sir John A. Macdonald.

“We need to discuss having a disclaimer on the website about having content that may offend people. I feel very strongly about that,” Weir said in an email on June 9, 2021.

“Much of the content on the Library and Archives Canada website reflects the time at which it was written. We understand much of this outdated historical content no longer reflects today’s context and may be offensive to many. This is an enormous undertaking with over 7,000 web pages.”

Weir, who was appointed by the Liberal government receives a salary of $243,000 a year and once took an all-expenses-paid trip to China in 2019.

Employees at the department voiced their concerns that Weir’s criteria for what was offensive were too vague.

After meeting with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in London on Monday to discuss the Russia-Ukraine situation, Trudeau conceded that boycotting Russian oil was easier for Canada than many European countries since Canada imports very little of its oil from Russia.

Trudeau then tried to offer Canada’s assistance to blunt the impact of lost Russian oil in Europe, but he was rather vague on how Canadian products could fill that Russia-shaped hole in the Euro economy.

“What we’re seeing is a shift in Europe and elsewhere to understand that Russia is no longer a reliable partner. What Vladimir Putin has broken here is a trust. We will be there to support, as the world moves beyond Russian oil and indeed, beyond fossil fuels, to have more renewables in our mix,” Trudeau said.

“What we are learning about Russia’s unreliability as a trading partner needs to be remembered,” he insisted.

The National Post quoted Canadian analysts who said ramping up the country’s oil and gas exports would require a sharp turn away from Trudeau’s previous focus on shifting to renewables. Among other problems, Canada lacks the port and pipeline facilities needed to significantly increase export shipments.

“It must be a priority for Europe to get less dependent on Russia, and if Canada would have invested in energy capacity, or even oil pipelines to the east, we could be now contributing to European security,” University of Calgary professor Yrjo Koskinen mournfully observed.

The Canadian Bankers Association told a parliamentary committee that its members froze Freedom Convoy protesters’ bank accounts during the public order emergency not only to comply with RCMP disclosures but also based on “their own determinations.”

“We primarily relied on the names provided by the RCMP, but there were obligations under the order separate from that, that required banks to make their own determinations,” said Angelina Mason, general counsel and vice-president of the Canadian Bankers Association (CBA), as she testified before the Finance Committee on March 7.

Mason said banks did not rely on lists of convoy donors’ information leaked online. Crowdfunding platform GiveSendGo, which collected over $10 million for the Freedom Convoy, was hacked around Feb. 13 and some media outlets then leaked the donor information.

“What banks were obligated to do, though, was apply their normal risk-based approach in monitoring their accounts as they would do for money laundering or what have you,” said Mason.

“And if something then was flagged that was suggestive, again, looking through the eyes of the activities in Ottawa, then there would be, again, an obligation to freeze.”

Mason said the number of accounts frozen unilaterally was small, but didn’t provide an exact figure. “A small donation wouldn’t have been caught by our normal risk-based approach,” she said.

Since the revocation of the Emergencies Act, which was in effect from Feb. 14 to Feb. 23, all accounts have been unfrozen except those under court orders, and no accounts were frozen by mistake, Mason said.

The Emergencies Act was invoked by the government to deal with cross-country protests and blockades demanding the lifting of COVID-19 mandates and restrictions.

The freezing of bank accounts without a court order was one of the most controversial measures put in place under the Act, with some opposition MPs questioning the necessity of the measure given its serious impact on people’s lives and Charter rights.

Banks froze 180 accounts based on RCMP disclosures, according to Mason. RCMP officials also testified at the committee that at least 257 accounts were frozen by financial institutions, which includes banks and credit unions.

Mason also said that clients who had their accounts frozen will now have a marker on their file indicating as much.

“How that impacts the relationship, that would depend on the particular risk scenario of any bank. There wouldn’t be a blanket approach,” she said. Continue…

As Canada’s digital ID plans move closer, the Canadian Banking Association (CBA) is pushing for a national digital identification system. In a recent whitepaper, the World Economic Forum also argued for dystopian-sounding digital IDs, which could be used to decide who gets access to services, adding that banks should lead the way.

Plastic cards and paper licenses are an outdated technology that should be replaced with a digital identification system, says president and CEO of the Canadian Bankers Association, Neil Parmenter.

The CBA published a white paper in 2018 titled “Canada’s Digital ID Future – A Federated Approach,” where it outlined how Canada can transition from the current system to a digital identification system.

The white paper claims: “The advantages to the federated digital ID system are clear for Canada. Unlike a centralized identity framework that puts the control of identity under one key player, a federated identity system leverages multiple systems, eliminating reliance on a single service provider. In other words, there is no single point of control or failure that can compromise the entire system. A federated model would also align with Canada’s federal structure by creating linkages between provincial and federal government identity management systems.”

A lot of information could be stored in someone’s digital ID, including biometric data, driver’s license, financial tools, and healthcare information. Other data that could be added include vaccine status, criminal record, credit score, and gun license status.

In its report, the World Economic Forum said that banks should spearhead digital identity projects.

“Canada’s strong financial institutions must play a key role. The World Economic Forum stated in its report financial institutions should champion efforts to build digital ID systems and lead the creation and implementation of identity platforms,” reads the white paper.

Parmenter reiterated that the WEF recommended financial institutions because they are “highly regulated and trusted.” He added that they have “advanced cybersecurity and privacy technology and they have the infrastructure to operate provincially and nationally.”

Canada was recently criticized for freezing the bank accounts of civil liberties supporters.

Canada is sending another $50 million in specialized equipment, including Canadian-made cameras for surveillance drones, to help Ukraine defend itself against the Russian invasion, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Wednesday.

Trudeau was in Berlin for meetings with Chancellor Olaf Scholz largely about the response to Russia and ongoing needs to support Ukraine. But from Berlin he spoke by phone to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to inform him of the additional aid.

B.C. health minister won’t say if vaccine mandate still on table for private health care

British Columbia’s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has put out a new order affecting the province’s private-practice healthcare workers, but it’s unclear whether it is a step closer to mandatory vaccination for the sector or a walkback from it.

Henry had announced on Feb. 9 that the province would be extending its mandatory vaccination policy to include all regulated health care professionals not yet covered, including physicians, surgeons, chiropractors, dentists, midwives, acupuncturists, practitioners of Chinese medicine and many others.

Under the original order, all healthcare professionals in B.C. would have had to have shown proof of vaccination by March 24 or be deregistered by their licensing bodies.

The new order issued on Tuesday requires the governing colleges of B.C.’s regulated healthcare workers to collect the vaccine status of their members by March 31 and be prepared to give that information to the government on request.

The order refers to unvaccinated people as “health hazards,” has no expiry date and will “not accept requests for a reconsideration.” Although B.C. health minister Adrian Dix called it “a necessary step to gain access to the information around vaccination,” it differs from Henry’s original order in several key ways.

The first difference is the change from the province’s original deadline of March 24, which required private sector healthcare workers to have at least one COVID shot to continue practicing their professions. Despite requiring those workers to disclose their vaccination status to their regulatory colleges, the new order does not state that they will need to be vaccinated to continue operating their practices.

The second difference is the lack of consequences for workers who refuse to comply, as well as any deadline for when those presumed consequences might kick in.

Lawyers for a proposed class-action lawsuit against the convoy protest in Ottawa argued in court Wednesday that GiveSendGo may be in breach of a freezing order on funds raised for the convoy on the website.

Monique Jilesen, a lawyer representing the proposed class and who obtained an injunction that froze convoy funds, said the order is meant to secure funds so the legal issue of how they should be used can be dealt with in court.

Parties in the case have agreed to move some donated funds and cryptocurrency into escrow, which could be redistributed to affected Ottawa residents and business owners should the class action succeed.

Jacob Wells, co-founder of American crowdfunding site GiveSendGo, told an Ontario Superior Court judge that the platform’s terms of service give it the discretion to return funds to donors.

Police cleared the convoy protest last month. Wells said there is now no way for the funds to be distributed for their stated purposes and the site is refunding amounts to donors in order to “protect our givers’ intentions.”

BC Will End Mask Mandates on March 11, Vaccine Passports on April 8

British Columbia is dropping its mask mandates starting March 11 at 12:01 a.m., followed by the end of COVID-19 vaccine passport requirements on April 8.

Speaking at a press conference on March 10, provincial health officer Bonnie Henry said the move is possible due to lower hospitalization and transmission rates of COVID-19, as noted by the province.

With the removal of the face covering order, residents are no longer required to wear masks in all public indoor settings provincewide, including on public transit and ferries, said the province in a press release following Henry’s announcement.

The province is also lifting the capacity restrictions it imposed on worship services, and overnight camps for children and youth will be allowed starting Friday.

Business owners and event organizers will have the option to require the wearing of masks on their premises, the province said.

For K-12 schools, the mask mandates will likewise be lifted once students return to school after spring break.

Starting March 18 at 12:01 a.m., visitation limits for long-term care and seniors’ assisted living facilities will also be removed.

The province added that its proof of vaccination requirement will end on April 8 at 12:01 a.m., meaning residents no longer need to present vaccine passports to access businesses, events, or services. The lifting also applies to post-secondary student housing.

However, individual business owners and event organizers can decide whether or not to continue requiring vaccine proof.

The province stressed that mask mandates and vaccine passports still apply for federally regulated travel such as air travel.

The Canadian Senate is considering a bill that seeks to lower the voting age from 18 to 16.

Senator Marilou McPhedran, who was appointed to the Senate in 2016 on the recommendation of Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, has introduced Bill S-201. The bill is currently in its second of three readings in the senate.

The move to lower the voting age has been pushed with varying degrees of effort by the political left in in both Canada and abroad in recent years.

While the left often claims that since young people have stakes in their country’s future, they should have the right to vote, critics of the move suggest that the left only wants to lower the voting age because they think it will benefit them.

According to a poll by Abacus Data following Trudeau’s first election in 2015, “45% of young Canadians (aged 18 to 25) voted Liberal compared with 25% for the NDP and 20% for the Conservative Party.”

Breaking down the poll’s implication, David Coletto, CEO of Abacus Data, said, “[The Conservatives] can always count on about 20 to 30 per cent of young voters, depending on the election, but they don’t need them in the same way those more progressive political parties, particularly the Liberals, need young people to vote for them.”

Two military members were in hospital Thursday evening after a search and rescue helicopter crashed at 9 Wing Gander air force base in central Newfoundland, officials said.

The injured were among six crew members on board the CH-149 Cormorant aircraft when the afternoon crash occurred, the Royal Canadian Air Force said in a series of tweets. The helicopter was conducting “hovering manoeuvres” at the Gander airport, which is next to the airbase, the tweets said.

“Two members are currently in hospital receiving treatment,” the air force said shortly after 6 p.m. local time. “Four members have been released and are with their squadron members at this time.”

Officials would not comment on the condition of the hospitalized crew members. The air force said earlier that first responders had been called to the scene.

On Thursday evening, emergency crews continued to work around the aircraft, which was on its side with its tail apparently missing.

CH-149 Cormorant helicopters are long-range aircraft that can operate in severe conditions, according to the air force’s website. The aircraft’s frame is nearly 23 metres long, and its rotor span is 18.5 metres.

The air force said its flight safety directorate launched an immediate investigation into what happened.

Eyre said the threat of a Russian incursion into Canada’s Arctic from the North is very low at the moment. But the general said it could not be ruled out in the decades to come.

He was answering questions about whether Russia could extend its territorial ambitions to Canada’s Arctic region or even invade Canada from the North.

He said it is “not inconceivable that our sovereignty may be challenged” in the future from the North. The military needs to “consider the long game” and look at what else Russia is doing in the world. He said “the Far North is a key area of concern.”

The chief of the defence staff warned about the “remilitarization” of the North by Russia, which has reoccupied formerly abandoned Cold War bases in its Arctic region.

He said Canada’s Arctic is potentially vulnerable because of its sparse population and lack of infrastructure.

The CBC has publicly retracted a news story about the trucker Freedom Convoy that erroneously claimed that support for the protests had largely come from foreigners.

According to Blacklock’s Reporter, the claim was made by the CBC radio program The World This Hour.

“On February 10 in a report about the protest convoy CBC Radio’s The World This Hour incorrectly said GoFundMe ended a fundraiser for the protesters over questionable donations to the group,” a statement by the public broadcaster wrote.

No further explanation was provided by the CBC on why the statement was incorrect.

CBC has parrotted the idea that extremists and foreign sources were behind the trucker protests despite evidence showing otherwise.

Rolly’s Restaurant in Hope, B.C. resumed business on Thursday, five months after an injunction forced its closure last fall. The restaurant has now had to adopt a “counter-service model” in order to avoid enforcing vaccine passports, which are slated to be dropped on April 8. This means orders must be placed and picked up by customers in designated areas, similar to a fast-food restaurant.

Rolly’s was full on Friday for lunch, though its atmosphere was a little muted compared to the fighting spirit its walls had radiated last fall.

“I wasn’t sure what to expect,” co-owner Steve Young told True North. “From the support that we got, I thought that we would do well this summer when people were traveling. I mean, the counter service model is a bit of a gong show. It’s a huge change for us. We’ve got a month to live with it, but the servers are going around in circles. But it’s coming together. Canada’s top national security adviser Jody Thomas warns that Canadians have enjoyed living blissfully ignorant of the threats posed to domestic security, claiming that the “Freedom Convoy” organizers went to the nation’s capital of Ottawa “to overthrow the government.”

“We have a lot to unpack in this country in terms of understanding what’s going on and its impact on democracy, our institutions and our society,” said Thomas at a panel at the Ottawa Conference on Security and Defence on Thursday.

“This is a problem that is not going away,” said Thomas, adding that it will require “significant” work by the government to “try and understand and resolve.”

Thomas made her remarks in response to questions about Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act to address the convoy protests in Ottawa and elsewhere across the country in February, some of which had blocked the entry of commercial vehicles into the United States.

Thomas said Trudeau was justified in invoking the law, but admitted that the government must work to address the root causes of the protest.

Canadian public broadcaster CBC has lamented that the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine may “distract” the general public from the issues of climate change.

In an opinion article entitled ‘The war in Ukraine Threatens to Distract us From the Climate Crisis’, CBC writer Aaron Wherry complained that “climate action isn’t something governments can set aside when it’s inconvenient.”

“Russia’s invasion of Ukraine does not change the fact of climate change,” Wherry intoned, noting that a Canadian mayor had called on the federal government not to increase the Canadian federal carbon tax as energy prices soar in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Wherry also noted that Canada could be in a good position to provide liquified natural gas (LNG) and oil to Europe, which is largely reliant on Russian exports, but insisted “pipelines aren’t the answer” regarding a conservative proposal to build an eastern pipeline to export LNG to Europe.

“[B]uilding a pipeline is easier said than done — and even in an ideal scenario it doesn’t seem like a short-term solution,” Wherry insisted, concluding by saying that “The war in Ukraine is profoundly important. But the battle against climate change still has to be fought.” Continue…

Canadian satellite builder MDA is providing Ukraine with near real-time satellite imagery to monitor Russian troop movements.

“We can deliver intelligence reports and people can make determinations of what’s going on the ground, or on the sea, from our radar imagery,” MDA CEO Mike Greenley told Reuters on Tuesday. “It’s all about… doing the right thing and giving Ukraine the support that they need.”

Greenley said that in the SAR images, “you can see groups of vehicles, you can see changes to buildings, you can see changes to bridges, you can see ships at sea through all weather conditions day and night.”

The intelligence is communicated to Ukraine through western-based commercial agencies or governments, according to Greenley. He added that MDA received approval from the Canadian government to share these images with Ukraine on March 4.

VCH Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Patricia Daly and three other medical health officers urged the UBC to discontinue mandatory rapid testing for students, employees, and staff, claiming that rapid antigen testing is ‘unreliable in identifying infection with the Omicron variant.’

“While we applaud UBC for its work to protect and promote the wellbeing of students, staff and faculty, we believe some of the measures in place on campus – such as ongoing mandatory rapid tests for unvaccinated students and staff, and related employment/academic sanctions – are not useful in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 on campus. Not only is Rapid Antigen Testing of asymptomatic people unreliable in identifying infection with the Omicron variant, but we have no evidence that those who have not complied with UBC policies have posed any public health risk to their fellow students, faculty, or staff, even during circulation of other variants.”

The Ontario government has advised school boards to follow the province’s plan to end mask mandates in schools on March 21, despite pushback from some of them.

Ontario chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore released the province’s plan to live with COVID-19 on Wednesday, which included dropping the mask mandate for schools after March break.

“Of all the provinces to release plans to lift masking requirements in schools, Ontario has one of the most cautious timelines,” said the Ontario Ministry of Education in a statement emailed to True North on Friday. “School boards in this province are expected to implement this cautious plan, coupled with the ongoing improvement of air ventilation within Ontario classrooms.”

While Ontario is among the last provinces in Canada to lift mask mandates, Moore’s statement said that they would be deploying 49,000 air ventilators to schools and child care centres. Ontario will also be giving schools 7 million rapid tests every month as well as additional funding for cleaning and staffing to manage COVID-19.

“Because of these many layers of protection, the increase in investments and Ontario’s overall improved situation, all schools in the province are open,” it said.

Some school boards have expressed concern about repealing the mask mandate, with some of them promising to keep it in place longer.

Trustees at the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) voted against ending the mandatory mask policy for staff and students on March 21.

HWDSB trustee Alex Johnstone said the decision to remove masks felt “rushed.”

“I wouldn’t feel comfortable just lifting it, and I’m feeling like I’m being forced to vote this way,” said Johnstone. “And that’s not right.”

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) wrote a letter to the Ministry of Education asking for more time to remove COVID-19 measures in schools.

TDSB spokesperson Ryan Bird said that the board’s trustees want to create their own timeline for lifting restrictions.

“I think it’s a little too much too soon,” said Bird. “And that seemed to be the consensus for most (trustees).” Continue…

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland met with the co-founder of a far-right fascist party in Ukraine, which was styled off of Hilter’s Nazi Party, True North has learned.

Andriy Parubiy served as the equivalent of the legislative speaker of Ukrainian Parliament from 2016 to 2019, and during that time he personally met with Trudeau and Freeland several times.

Freeland met with Parubiy in May 2019 for the second time, and posted about it on her official Facebook page.

Earlier in his career, Parubiy was an influential member of Ukraine’s far-right neo-Nazi movement. In 1991, he co-founded the Nazi-styled Social-National Party of Ukraine (SNPU) – a party focused on “racial nationalism” that even adopted the Nazi Wolfsangel symbol as its logo.

In 2004, it was renamed to the Svoboda Party and efforts were made to remove Nazi imagery and expel extreme fascist members from the party. Within the Ukrainian political context, the party is still described as “ultranationalist” and part of Ukraine’s “far-right.”

According to a report from the Jerusalem Post, as recently as 2016 Parubiy made anti-Semetic comments. He accused Jews of sending convicts to settle Eastern Ukraine and trying to destroy the genetic memory of the Holomodor.

Parubiy first rubbed shoulders with Trudeau in 2016 while a part of a visiting delegation to Ottawa. The Ukrainian Embassy to Canada detailed the meeting, which also included the then-Minister of Defence Harjit Sajjan.

“During his visit to the capital of Canada, Mr. Parubiy held a number of fruitful meetings with Canadian government officials and politicians,” wrote the Embassy of Ukraine to Canada on Feb. 26, 2016. “First Deputy Speaker had a brief meeting with Canadian Prime Minister the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau and Minister of Defence the Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan.”

Trudeau met with Parubiy again in July of that year while visiting Kiev, according to the embassy. Freeland was also present during this junket and is photographed signing an official agreement.

Freeland met with Parubiy again in May 2019, and posted about it on her official Facebook page.

“Met with Andriy Parubiy, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, and discussed the role that Canadian election monitors played in Ukraine’s presidential elections and will play again parliamentary elections later this year,” noted the message from Freeland.

“Canada stands with Ukraine and its vibrant democracy!” she exclaimed.

Conservative MP James Bezan and former interim leader Rona Ambrose also met with Parubiy in 2016, as did former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.

MP Marc Dalton speaks out against British Columbia’s healthcare worker vaccine mandates

Even though Dalton is a federal politician, he is using his platform to speak about his province's mandates.

In this report, I sit down to interview the twice-elected Conservative MP for Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows, Marc Dalton, about the province of British Columbia’s ongoing vaccine mandates for healthcare workers.

While many provinces across the country are returning normalcy to their citizens by repealing COVID-19 mandates, British Columbia created a new mandate for all regulated healthcare workers. Additionally, the province has also shown no intention of revoking their orders from last year, that resulted in B.C. losing more frontline healthcare workers to vaccine mandates than any other province in Canada.

“Is this really the correct path for healthcare in our province?” Dalton asked in a letter he addressed to the province's premier, John Horgan, dated March 7, 2022.

The letter strongly urged the province to reconsider such mandates, and highlights some of the challenges “dedicated and hard-working people” who have been “on the frontlines of this pandemic for the last two years” have faced regardless of their vaccination status, and professionals who oppose such mandates being hesitant to come forward publicly “due to personal and professional repercussions or becoming another victim in todays cancel culture.”

Dalton was one of the first federal MPs to publicly question the politically correct narrative, when he dared to question whether the government should re-open the economy back in April 2020, considering the vast majority of COVID-19 deaths were in care homes. More recently, Dalton spoke out in Parliament on behalf of his vaccine injured constituents who have been stigmatized and discriminated against by COVID-19 mandates.

“Whether you are vaccinated, or unvaccinated doesn’t make any difference as far as you getting COVID” Dalton said while referencing a recent letter Vancouver Coastal Health sent out to the University of British Columbia stating such.

That and the fact that such mandates “[impact] all of us” are some of the reasons Dalton felt compelled to use his voice to represent his constituents by speaking out about about the provincial healthcare mandates, even though he is a federal politician.

First Open Letter on the WHO’s Pandemic Treaty

The World Council for Health (WCH), a coalition of scientists, doctors, lawyers, and civil society advocacy organizations, opposes the World Health Organisation (WHO)’s moves to implement a power grab in the form of a global pandemic agreement, while the world’s attention is diverted by the latest crisis.

The proposed WHO agreement is unnecessary, and is a threat to sovereignty and inalienable rights. It increases the WHO’s suffocating power to declare unjustified pandemics, impose dehumanizing lockdowns, and enforce expensive, unsafe, and ineffective treatments against the will of the people.

The WCH believes that the people have a right to participate in any agreement that affects their lives, livelihoods, and well-being. However, the WHO has not engaged in a process of public participation, which is evidence that its priority is capturing more power for itself and its corporate accomplices, than serving the interests of the people. Without an unbiased democratic process, any agreement by the WHO, acting via the United Nations, will be unlawful, illegitimate, and invalid.

Historically, the WHO leadership has failed the people. Among many examples, it approved the injurious H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine for a controversially declared pandemic. Equally, the WHO failed during the Covid-19 chapter as it encouraged lockdowns, suppressed early preventive treatments, and recommended product interventions that have proven to be neither safe nor effective.

The WHO cannot be allowed to control the world’s health agenda, nor enforce biosurveillance. While it receives funding from public sources belonging to the people, it is caught in a perpetual conflict of interest because it also receives substantial funding from private interests that use their contributions to influence and profit from WHO decisions and mandates. For example, the Gates Foundation and the Gates-funded GAVI vaccine promotion alliance, contribute over $1 billion a year.

Call to Action

WCH partners, from Australia to Zimbabwe, stand against this costly abuse of power and assert the sovereign right of people to make their own decisions, over and above what their representatives may want. We urge everyone to approach credible government representatives, political parties, trade unions, civil society groups, professionals, public figures, and independent media to:

Raise awareness about the implications of the proposed global pandemic agreement;

Call for national campaigns that protect natural law and democratic constitutions;

Join credible civil society coalitions such as the World Council for Health.

We also encourage everyone to learn more about principles, accords, conventions, and treaties that protect the rights of men, women, and children. These include the Siracusa Principles in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights which provide legal standards to protect rights.

Leading up to the WHO’s 77th World Health Assembly in 2024, where the WHO intends to confirm their pandemic agreement, the WCH will continue to raise awareness through campaigning against this undemocratic move. “We were praying a lot. We were actually in front of the jail every single day with a group of people ranging from 30 to a couple hundred. So every day we’re there in the evening and on Saturdays at four, protesting and doing a prayer vigil. We have speakers, we play music, we pray, we anoint the place, blow trumpets.”

Pawlowski said every single day a group of people were putting pressure on the prison to treat his father like a human being since the conditions for him were significantly worse compared to the other inmates.

A Canadian Conservative Party (CPC) MP has backed an official House of Commons petition demanding the Canadian federal government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “abolish” a rule which bans the vaccine-free from traveling by air.

“We, the undersigned, citizens and residents of Canada, call upon the Minister of Transport to abolish the domestic vaccine passport requirement for Canadian citizens and permanent residents taking domestic flights in a safe and orderly manner,” reads the petition sponsored by Alberta CPC MP Tom Kmiec.

“The restriction imposed on Canadians taking domestic flights, trains and ferries is an unreasonable infringement of their rights and freedoms that cannot be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society.”

The petition was initiated by Lydia Henry from Mississauga, Ontario, and was launched on March 10. It currently has close to 8,000 signatures and closes on April 10.

The petition states examples from the travel industry as proof that a vaccine passport for domestic air travel is not backed up by logical reasoning.

“According to Westjet’s first Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tammy McKnight, as of April 23, 2021, there had been no known case of COVID-19 transmission onboard any Canadian aircraft,” reads the petition. Continue…

Government May Be Testing the Waters With Universal Basic Income Senate Bill

When a government wants to make a radical or controversial policy shift, it rarely will dive right into it. It will test the waters of public support using legislative tools to float trial balloons while maintaining the illusion that it has a degree of separation from the proponent of the policy.

The federal government is doing this right now as they try to lay the groundwork and build public support for a universal basic income (UBI) scheme.

Almost 80 percent of the delegates at the Liberal Party of Canada’s policy convention in April 2021 voted in favour of establishing a UBI plan. The party clearly wants that policy, but they still aren’t sure how they will get there. That’s why we are seeing the trial balloons.

The Liberals first tested the waters of a UBI scheme with Bill C-273, which Liberal MP Julie Dzerowicz tabled as a private members’ bill. Private members’ bills rarely pass. When a government member tables such a bill, it means they want to explore a concept but be able to distance themselves from it if there is a public backlash. Dzerowicz’s bill predictably died on the order paper when the federal election was called in August. It had served its purpose in breaking the ice on the issue and starting discussions.

Now the Liberals have moved on to promoting the concept of a UBI system through Bill S-233. Bill-S-233 is a “Senate public bill” which is pretty much the Senate’s version of a private members’ bill. The bill is very unlikely ever to pass as it has to go through multiple readings, a terribly slow committee process, and would eventually end up in the House of Commons.

The bill was sponsored by Sen. Kim Pate. While the Liberal government likes to keep up a façade of independence among the senators, Liberal-appointed senators still follow party guidance, even if unofficially. Sen. Pate was appointed to the Senate on the recommendation of Justin Trudeau in 2016. If you think she tabled Bill S-233 without direction from the Liberal party, I have a bridge I would like to sell you.

An NDP private members’ bill calling for a UBI scheme is making its way through the House of Commons right now as well. It will never make it to final reading, but considering NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh’s rather cozy relationship with Trudeau, it doesn’t defy belief that the parties are at least loosely partnered on the concept of bringing in some form of UBI.
