It is pretty well agreed that words symbolize sounds, e.g. "sounds coming out of your mouth."

Well, you are always subject to the interpretation of the hearer or reader, I mean, this depends on how you think symbols work.

Aristotle's view is that spoken sounds are symbols of mental experience, and written marks are symbols of spoken sounds.

Ultimately there is no "grammar" to mental experience, mental experience is a product of neurons, neurotransmitters, oxygen, etc. It is a physiological, not a grammatical, process.

So, I mean, DWM's view isn't that the Judges, etc. all have everything written in this "correct" quantum grammar behind the scenes, he just says that it is a way to avoid being "misinterpretted"?

Contracts do not have to be written, a contract is a speech, which can be spoken, or it can be written, but, again, in Aristotle's sense, that is simply a memorial of the speech, which is a symbol of the mental experience of the parties to the contract, their shared intention.

I mean, how would you write

"I demand sight and hearing of the commission by which you claim jurisdiction over me" or "You have no personal jursidiction over me" in this special quantum grammar?

I know those phrases mean things, I mean, they are very sensible English to me, if I were a Judge I would know exactly what was being asked.

Like, the bizzare thing about DWM, etc. is that all states, e.g. STATRE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, UNITED STTES OF AMERICA, they are fictitious, their borders are not natural borders, you cannot observe them, you can only read about them and perhaps measure them.

But this genre of literature almost always has a nostalgic component, e.g. the idea is not to disprove that the USA exists and to prove it never has existed, but to have this nostalgic rhetoric for the days of "legitimate constitutional government"

For example, on page 4, you get him talking about dates. Well, dates are things in calendars, and a calendar is sort of a shared conceptual entity, because time is incorporeal (see Senchus Mor).

Like, for time to make sense, you have to share an origin of some sort, e.g. 'the beginning' or 'when God made the light" (Anno Lucis), or when the Erath was made (Anno Mundi) or the birth of Christ (Anno Domini) etc. etc. So already within the first page of this stuff he is talking about 'dates' as though dating is a natural system.

Also, life, it is sort of a cultural idea that we are alive but rocks are not alive, in some cultures everything is alive, and, in biology since the 1930s more or less, "vitalism" (the idea that some things are alive qualitatively) is false, life is just a sort of agreed upon state, e.g. spontaneous respiration, beating of the heart. There is no esprit de corps, elan vitale, etc.

It is a similar pattern, de + struere, struere is to put together, to compose, so de struere is to take away the structure, to decompose, etc.

Words often have multiple meanings, for example, ius sometimes means law in Latin, but sometimes it means soup.

Well, English puts verbs in one place, latin another.

For example, in English you would say

Ciceronam nomen est.

In English,

Cicero is my name.

How does a sound become a noun?

Well, Aristotle says that it is like this:

mental experience -> sound -> noun

And the reason Alice and Bob can both use the noun "man" is because they both have the same mental experience, for which they make the sound "man" (or anthropos in Greek). But absent that shared mental experience, there are no nouns or verbs.

This sounds to me like the problem DWM thinks he has solved, except he has not—that problem has nothing to do with grammar or the symbols or their ordering; it has to do with two people having "the mental experiences, which these directly symbolize."
