Stan Grant kicks an Australian-Russian man out of #QandA for questioning the media's pro-Ukraine/anti-Russia coverage.

Fake news journalist, Stan Grant who is known in Australia for his darkening shades of makeup as he strengthens his claims of aboriginal rights and discrimination against him, has today turned the tables and chosen to discriminate against Russians.

In scenes closer resembling historically dictator controlled media and propaganda - the Australian, public funded television channel chose to censor a question from a Russian audience member because it questioned the mainstream narrative.

The hypocrisy is strong in this one from so many angels. The fact that the ABC show hosted by Stan Grant is actually called Q&A (questions and answers), however it seems that Mr Grant is only allowing state approved questions.

The irony of the neocons, who couldn’t hold onto Iraq or Afghanistan over the course of two decades, babbling about how Russia has failed after a single week of military operations on a grand scale, should not escape you:

Putin rolled the dice of war and didn’t beat Ukraine. This, in strategic terms, probably means he lost the campaign. In retrospect, the Kremlin’s plan consisted of an airborne/airmobile/Spetsnaz descent on Kyiv, the mission of which was to establish an airhead in the capital and capture the Ukrainian government until relieved by mechanized forces racing in from the north. An airmobile assault was attempted at Gostomel to Kyiv’s immediate north.

But things went badly wrong. The Russian battalion-sized airmobile force met stiff air defense and was immediately counterattacked by the Ukrainian mobile reserve. Unable to land follow-on forces, the paratroopers could not withstand heavy weapons and were scattered or wiped out. Equally serious for the Russians was the failure of their northern pincer to advance on schedule.

Desperate to “bag” the Ukrainian government, the Russians attempted a large-scale airborne assault for Vasylkiv Airfield to the south of Kyiv to establish a blocking position to catch withdrawing units. But this failed, with two C-17 counterpart IL-76s loaded with paratroops destroyed, and with them, two infantry companies of the Kremlin’s finest. Crucially the Russian mechanized elements trickling into Kyiv proved too weak to break through the city defense.

When it was clear Zelensky, and hence the Ukrainian government, could not be bagged and was quite capable of retreating in good order to fallback positions in the West, it was obvious that Putin could not conclude the campaign with the political time and the military forces at hand. At this, the diplomatic floodgates opened, with even China urging a diplomatic solution, and much of the world, scared to death of a third world war, timidly then more forcefully chiming in.

Ukraine has not won, not in the military sense. It has lost territory, suffered significant losses to soldiers and civilians, and endured massive property damage. But crucially, it has not lost — and that may be enough.

Playing for an immediate checkmate doesn’t come off doesn’t mean you lose the game. It certainly doesn’t mean that your plan failed either. It’s just an aggressive opening gambit from which you proceed with your primary plan if, as you must always anticipate, you fail to get lucky and score an easy win. The strike battalion’s failed attempt to decapitate Ukraine’s foreign leadership on the first day of the operation was no different than the US Air Force’s attempt to bomb Saddam Hussein at the beginning of the 2003 Iraq campaign.

After all, it’s not as if the defeat at Arnhem, the famous “bridge too far” which caused the failure of Operation Market Garden, prevented the Allies from defeating Germany. It just meant that the war ended in May 1945 instead of before Christmas 1944, and that the Soviets took Berlin instead of the Americans.

Those with even a modicum of familiarity with military history are aware that the Russian operation is a model of near-textbook efficiency, bypassing the cities and enveloping enemy units by striking on multiple fronts.

Russia has already won the first battle of the Global Crusade, as the outcome of the Ukro-Russian war is no longer in any doubt, but the war between The Empire That Never Ended and the free nations of the world is very, very far from over.

Ukraine’s lawmakers also urged the UN and other international bodies to establish a no-fly zone over their country

On Thursday, amid the ongoing Russian offensive, Ukraine’s parliament called on the United Nations and other international organizations to send a peacekeeping mission to their country.

Addressing the UN, the International Red Cross, the European Parliament and “parliaments and cabinets” of all nations, they adopted a resolution urging foreign involvement to “protect civilian population from armed attacks by Russian invaders.” The lawmakers called for the deployment of a UN peacekeeping force, the establishment of a no-fly zone over Ukrainian territory, and the opening of “green corridors” for the passage of humanitarian aid and refugees.

Any UN peacekeeping mission would have to be authorized by the UN Security Council (UNSC), where Russia holds veto power. However, should the UNSC be unable to issue authorization, under UN General Assembly (UNGA) resolution 377(V), passed in 1950, UNGA can take such matters into its own hands. Nonetheless, the supreme UN body must recommend that the assembly do so, and at least seven UNSC members must favor the move.

Earlier, Kiev had repeatedly floated the idea of deploying UN peacekeepers into the country’s east, where the Ukrainian forces have been facing off with rebels in the breakaway republics of Donetsk and Lugansk since 2014. A mission to the region has never materialized, however.

Russia launched a large-scale military offensive in Ukraine last week, claiming it was the only option to protect the two republics from what it alleged was Kiev’s plan to retake them by force. Moscow also stated that its goals were to “denazify” and “demilitarize” its neighbor. Ukraine has denied any plan to attack the republics, and insists Russia’s offensive was unprovoked. Donetsk and Lugansk split from Ukraine in 2014, following the Maidan events in Kiev that led to the downfall of the country’s democratically elected government.

In a public tweet tonight, Senator Lindsey Graham calls for the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The propaganda push from the U.S. government is actually quite remarkable to watch unfold. I mean seriously, there’s a point when you don’t go all-in because there has to be an exit option. We are in very tenuous place, because no one is thinking about an off ramp…. it’s full speed ahead.

If Lindsey Graham, Joe Biden, NATO, the EU, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Word Economic Forum and the multinational corporations in this alliance of Public/Private geopolitical partnerships, succeed in the fight against Vladimir Putin – I promise you, we are not going to like the world on the other side of their victory.

A few weeks ago, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent a clear and specific message to citizens in Canada when he sanctioned the trucker’s bank accounts. Joe Biden, NATO and EU are right now sending a clear message to the citizens of the world, as they sanction Putin’s bank accounts and the Russian economy.

If you can’t see the connection, you are not thinking carefully enough about it.

While having a prophetic understanding, of where we are right now, certainly helps grasp the situation; one can't help but wonder why the average person is oblivious to how the world leaders (the 'engineers') have suddenly gone bonkers in slapping swift and over-the-top sanctions on Russia - an obvious nuclear power. And what I mean by over-the-top is the sanctions, embargoes, and restrictions are obviously not meant to deter Putin, or make him drawn down; they are meant to prod.

From a diplomatic point, even for a country that has apparently blatantly invaded their neighbor, the whole point of diplomacy should be as an ultimatum i.e. you've got 48 hours to withdraw your forces, or we block all your commercial planes from our airspaces. You give them "an out", and way to save face. However, if you do not offer them options - then sanctions are not punishment; they are an attack in and of themselves. That is part of why sanctions are considered an act of war. If you never gave them the time or option to retreat - in light of the specific threat - then it's not a threat; it's an action. And from the enemy's point of view, you never intended to give them "an out." It's not a good-faith response to the action that you are supposedly trying to address. There's a difference between "friendly acts" and "unfriendly acts."

It is interesting to read the history behind Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec 7th, 1941. While there were a host of reasons and interests behind it, one of the major contributing factors was the US sanctions - especially regarding oil - that severally limited Japan [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Attack_…]. The end result was that Japan - after successive US sanctions that the Japanese viewed as "unfriendly acts" - were backed into a corner. They had few "friendly" options left, under the strangling circumstances. So quite predictably, they picked the option they thought would get the US off their back, and out of their sphere of influence. They lashed out; and they knew they would have to make that strike hit incredibly hard to get the US to back off.

When I look at the world news right now, every single day I have to shake my head with the scope of the *instant* sanctions that are thrown against Russia, Russian companies, Russian people, and anything 'Russian'. There's been no "out" or saving face offered. The ban of Russian aircraft in various airspaces went into effect right away; leaving thousands stranded. No 24-48 hour windows; no warning. Instant strangling.

Now major shipping companies are not doing non-essential shipping to Russia… Talk of Russian shipping being blocked from certain country's ports… Sanctions on private company's normal goods and commerce being effected… The Russian banks, markets, oil and gas sales, etc. hugely and suddenly impacted. We've never seen this level of sudden, and absolutely thorough, sanctioning of a major country. It is literally a financial *WAR* - meant to bring the country - and large segments of its people - to its knees. Already, the results are having a profound impact for the average person in Russia. The results are also essentially irreversible, too…

Reverse the scenario a little. How would Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Tim Cook or Jeff Bezos feel if another country, perhaps China, decided to confiscate their wealth and yachts or whatever else they deemed to be wealth – including their business operation inside China, or India or any nation that wanted to curry favor with China – because we invaded Iraq, or Syria, or (fill_in_blank)?

Previously, these geopolitical sanctions would target government, not people, regardless of how rich they are or who they agreed with politically.

What we are seeing is a full-blown alignment of interests between globalist government and their partnered multinational corporations and financial institutions.

This is not a good thing to witness regardless of the outcome in Ukraine.
