Update (1015ET): The New York Times has confirmed (with its sources) that the CDC is expected to recommend on Tuesday that people vaccinated for the coronavirus resume wearing masks indoors under certain circumstances, reversing a decision made just two months ago.

As recently as last week, an agency spokesman said that the C.D.C. had no plans to change its guidance, unless there were a significant change in the science. The CDC plans to provide a media update on the pandemic at 3pmET.

“I think that’s great,” said Dr. Celine Gounder, an infectious disease specialist at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York.

Based on what scientists are learning about the Delta’s variant’s ability to cause breakthrough infections, she said, “this is a move in the right direction.”

‘Mossad cell’ arrested over plans to provoke violence during ongoing protests in Iran, Tehran claims

Members of an armed cell who allegedly worked with Israel’s Mossad spy agency and planned to provoke violence during protests in Iran have been detained, Tehran’s Intelligence Ministry has told local media.

The group, which allegedly had access to a heavy shipment of weapons and ammunition, was recently apprehended after entering Iran through its western border, an official from the ministry told the Fars news agency.

The official didn’t elaborate on the size of the unit or the nationality of those arrested, but they insisted that the suspects were acting in cooperation with Mossad, the Israeli spy agency.

The weapons seized from the alleged agents included pistols, grenades, rifles, shotguns, and ammo. The arms were being brought into Iran to be used during “urban riots and assassinations,” according to the ministry official.

The announcement comes after several weeks of demonstrations in Iran against water shortages in the southwest of the country, caused by severe drought. The unrest has resulted in at least five deaths among the protesters.

The Intelligence Ministry representative also claimed that Israel had been intending to carry out “acts of sabotage” during the Iranian presidential election in mid-June, which was won by hardline candidate Ebrahim Raisi. The country’s security forces prevented those activities, he added, and “dealt a blow to the Mossad terrorist network.”

He also thanked Iranians for their “constant vigilance,” while urging the public to remain wary of any "suspicious offers," particularly if made online.

Tehran has long accused Israel intelligence of undertaking malign activities on Iranian territory in an attempt to undermine the country’s stability and derail its nuclear program.

The two blasts that rocked the Natanz nuclear site in April 2021 and July 2020, as well as the assassination of a top scientist in Iran’s nuclear program, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, in November 2020, have been linked to Mossad by Iranian officials.

While the Israeli government has not claimed or denied responsibility for those incidents, recently retired Mossad chief Yossi Cohen implied last month that his agency could well have played a part in them.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has revealed he’s struggling with his pet dog’s “romantic urges” and said the high-profile canine has been known to “endlessly” hump people’s legs in Downing Street.

Johnson’s admission came on Tuesday while talking to police officers after watching canine training at the Surrey forces’ headquarters in Guildford.

Speaking to a handler of a German Shepherd named Zorro, the PM asked whether the officer has “to worry about his romantic urges?”

“Not so much, no,” the handler replied as Home Secretary Priti Patel, who was accompanying Johnson, chuckled. The PM then revealed that his own dog, a Jack Russell-cross named Dilyn, has been subjecting people’s legs to “endless” sexual advances in Downing Street.

Johnson, who is now married for the third time, is well known for his romantic endeavours and alleged past extra-marital affairs.

NIH Director & Fauci Boss Advises Chinese Military Proxy-Linked Group Working Alongside COVID-19 Gene Storage Firm.

National Institutes of Health director Dr. Francis Collins serves on the advisory board of a conference sponsored by a Chinese military-linked genomics firm, The National Pulse can reveal. The D.C.-based, health industry big-wig and boss to Anthony Fauci has even referred to the controversial company’s founder as a “friend”.

The annual event in question – the International Conference on Genomics – is organized by BGI Genomics and the China National GeneBank.

BGI Genomics has been flagged by U.S. intelligence officials for its robust efforts to “collect, store and exploit biometric information” on American citizens through COVID-19 test kits. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the firm has deep ties to both the Chinese Communist Party and its military.

In January 2021, Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center William Evanina told CBS News that U.S.-based, foreign-controlled labs are “modern-day Trojan horses.”

“BGI comes to the U.S. bearing gifts, but harboring other motives. It’s unclear whether BGI, or any COVID tester, would get DNA from nasal swabs, he says, but the labs are a way to establish a foothold, to bring their equipment here, start mining your data, and set up shop in your neighborhood,” the report claims.

That the group is linked with the head of the U.S. National Institutes of Health should raise immediate alarms.

Hundreds of children sexually abused over several decades in London council's care on a scale ‘hard to comprehend’ – inquiry

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse has found that more than 700 children in the care of London's Lambeth Council were abused for several decades as part of a “toxic power game.”

In a Tuesday report, the inquiry alleged that children in the care of Lambeth Council “were subjected to levels of cruelty and sexual abuse that are hard to comprehend” at three care homes – Shirley Oaks, South Vale, and Angell Road – “where violence and sexual assault were allowed to flourish.”

Since the 1960s, Lambeth Council allegedly received complaints of sexual abuse from 705 former residents of the care homes, however only “one senior employee” was ever disciplined by the council.

“The report finds that the true scale of the sexual abuse against children in Lambeth's care will never be known, but it is certain to be significantly higher than is formally recorded,” declared the inquiry, which also alleged that black children in the care of the council experienced racism and “abusive treatment.”

Following the revelation that a child who was found dead at Shirley Oaks in 1977 had complained about sexual abuse in the care home, the inquiry is now calling on the Metropolitan Police to consider whether a criminal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death should be launched.

Inquiry Chairwoman Alexis Jay – who led the similar 2014 investigation into Rotherham child sexual abuse, which found at least 1,400 victims and implicated members of the council – said the children in Lambeth “became pawns in a toxic power game” between “the Council and central government.”

“There was a vicious and regressive culture, for which a succession of leading elected members were mainly responsible, aided and abetted in some instances by self-serving senior officials,” Jay declared, adding that the culture “contributed to allowing children in their care to suffer the most horrendous sexual abuse.”

Lambeth Council formally apologised on Tuesday for its failure to protect vulnerable children, with council leader Claire Holland calling the report “deeply shocking.”

The council also promoted its redress scheme, which allows victims of the abuse to apply for financial compensation and free counselling.

Former GOP Sen. Mike Enzi Dies After Bicycle Accident

Retired Sen. Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.) died on Monday after a bicycle accident last week left him seriously injured.

Enzi’s family announced his passing in a post on Twitter.

“Former Wyoming U.S. Senator Mike Enzi passed away peacefully today surrounded by his family,” the statement read.

“His family expresses their deep appreciation for all of the prayers, support, and concern. They now ask for privacy and continued prayers during this difficult time.”

An event is planned to celebrate Enzi’s life, his family said, with details to be provided at a later time.

Enzi was riding a bicycle near his home in Gilette, Wyoming, on Friday, when he got into an accident that left him with “serious injuries,” his family said in an earlier statement. He was airlifted to the UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado.

Former spokesman Max D’Onofrio told The Associated Press that Enzi had suffered a broken neck and ribs. D’Onofrio added that Enzie remained unconscious after his accident.

According to his congressional bio, Enzi graduated from George Washington University in 1966 and later earned his MBA from Denver University. He then owned and operated family shoe stores before moving into politics.

Enzi’s political career began with two terms as mayor of Gillette, before serving in both the Wyoming House of Representatives and the state Senate.

In 1996, Enzi was elected to the U.S. Senate, where he served until 2020, when he did not seek reelection.

In Washington, Enzi boasted a consistently conservative voting record, while also earning a reputation as a lawmaker able to work across the aisle.

“I like doing legislation. I’ve developed a pathway that brings people together. I’ve gotten to work with an incredible staff that have made it possible to do more than a senator by himself could do,” Enzi said in 2019, announcing he was not seeking another term.

“During my life I’ve followed my Mom’s advice, my core values: Do what’s right. Do your best. Treat others as they want to be treated,” he said at the time.

Boris Johnson Restores Stop and Search Police Powers in the UK in Crime Crackdown

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Tuesday that the government will seek to empower police with the ability to stop and search people, part of a package of measures to tackle the country’s knife crime epidemic.

Introducing the Beating Crime Plan, Mr Johnson said that it will not be possible to “level up the country” when crime ravages the poorest areas and “draws the most vulnerable into violence”.

“That is why my government has remained unstinting in its efforts to protect the British public and this plan delivers a fresh commitment, as we emerge from the impacts of the pandemic, to have less crime, fewer victims and a safer society,” Mr Johnson said.

A key pillar of the strategy will be to permanently relax restrictions on the use of section 60 stop and search powers, to give powers to the police to take more knives off the streets of Britain.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Mr Johnson defended the move, which critics on the left have claimed disproportionately impacts black people.

He said that “giving police the backing that they need in law to stop someone, to search someone, to relieve them of a dangerous weapon” is not a “strongarmed” approach but rather a “loving” approach.

“The people who often support stop and search most passionately are the parents of the kids who are likely themselves to be the victims of knife crime, so I’m not going to give in on that,” he said.

Apart from the increased police powers on the streets, the government is also proposing to expand the use of electronic monitoring tags for convicted thieves and burglars to track their location constantly after they are released from prison.

The government also plans to make unpaid work for those who have committed anti-social and other offences more visible, by having offenders clean up streets, alleys, estates, and open spaces in bright reflective outfits.

“Somebody’s anti-social crime may be seen as a minor crime, but it can be deeply distressing for those who are victims,” Johnson said, adding: “If you are guilty of anti-social behaviour, I don’t see any reason you shouldn’t be out there in one of the florescent-jacketed chain gangs, visibly paying your debt to society.”

California Governor Gavin Newsom compared unvaccinated people to drunk drivers as he announced that all state and health care workers would have to submit to regular COVID-19 testing if they haven't gotten the shot.

'You don't have a choice to go out and drink and drive and put everybody else's lives at risk. That’s the equivalent of this moment with the deadliness & efficiency of the Delta variant,' Newsom told a news conference on Monday.

Under the governor's new mandate, state employees will have to submit a proof of vaccination by August 2 and health care workers would have to submit proof of vaccinations by August 23.

Any state employee that does not provide a proof of vaccination will have to get tested once a week, and any health care worker who does not get vaccinated would have to submit to testing twice a week. They would also be required to wear masks at all times.

The new mandate will affect at least 238,000 state employees.

RINO Congressman Tells C-SPAN He Hugged Capitol Police Officer After He Killed Ashli Babbitt — Said She Would Have Taken His Gun

Supposed “Republican” Oklahoma Rep. Markwayne Mullin appeared on C-SPAN to commend the Capitol police officer who shot and killed unarmed Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt in the Capitol on January 6.

“After it happened, he came over,” Mullin told C-SPAN. “He was physically and emotionally distraught. I actually gave him a hug and I said, ‘sir, you did what you had to do.'”

Mullin went on to suggest that Babbitt, who he refused to name, was going to steal the officer’s gun and use it against him.

C-Span is currently running a series on the Capitol protest, with interviews from 14 members of Congress.

In one of the first interviews, Rep. Mullin casually explains how he hugged the Capitol Police officer who shot Ashli Babbitt and told him that he “did what he had to.”

Key South African ports declare ‘force majeure’ after cyberattack

South Africa’s state-owned ports and freight rail operator Transnet has declared “force majeure” at the country’s main container terminals because of “an act of cyberattack, security intrusion and sabotage” that struck last week.

The measure, which releases a company from fulfilling contractual obligations, affects key container terminals in Durban, Ngqura, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing a note dated Monday that Transnet sent to customers.

“Transnet, including Transnet Port Terminals, experienced an act of cyberattack, security intrusion and sabotage, which resulted in the disruption of TPT normal processes and functions or the destruction or damage of equipment or information,” the note reads, according to Bloomberg.

“Investigators are currently determining the exact source of the cause of compromise and extent of the ICT data security breach or sabotage.”

Transnet is reportedly taking “all available and reasonable mitigation measures” to limit the impact of the disruption. Container terminals are operating at a slower pace than usual, Bloomberg reported.

Transnet representatives did not return The Post’s request for comment. The company said in a statement to Reuters that the force majeure declaration would be lifted soon.

Dozens of medical groups are calling on employers to make COVID-19 vaccines mandatory for all health care workers.

In a joint statement published on Monday, 57 organizations - including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Physicians and the National League for Nursing -noted the rise in case in the U.S. due to the Indian 'Delta' variant spreading among unvaccinated populations.

'We call for all health care and long-term care employers to require their employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

'The health and safety of U.S. workers, families, communities, and the nation depends on it.'

The groups add that mandating vaccines will help protect not only patients but also vulnerable people, including unvaccinated children and the immunocompromised.

It comes as several health systems across the country mandate that their staff members get vaccinated or risk being fired.

Several experts and institutions have issued statements supporting that all health workers get vaccinated, but the joint statement is the largest to date.

'While we recognize some workers cannot be vaccinated because of identified medical reasons and should be exempted from a mandate, they constitute a small minority of all workers,' the statement read.

'Employers should consider any applicable state laws on a case-by-case basis.'

The statement represents the first time that many of these groups have called for a mandate as the pace of vaccinations falls from 3.5 million per day in April to just 500,000 per day in July.

Meanwhile, the U.S. recorded 15,711 new cases with a seven-day rolling average of 52,116, which is a 291 percent increase from the 13,305 average recorded three weeks ago, according to a DailyMail.com analysis of Johns Hopkins data.

The federal government's Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ruled in December 2020 that employers could legally set vaccine requirements for their workforce.

The Houston Methodist hospital system in Texas became the first in the U.S. to set a coronavirus vaccine requirement in April.

More than 150 employees resigned or were fired in late June after they refused to get the vaccine.

Since then several large academic centers, such as NewYork-Presbyterian and Yale New Haven, and large chains such as Trinity Health have imposed vaccine mandates.

New York City will also be requiring all health care workers at city-run hospitals to get vaccinated or undergo weekly testing.

However, many medical workers remain reluctant to get vaccinated.

Boris Johnson has promised to bring back “chain gangs” as a deterrent for antisocial behaviour.

The prime minister said there was “no reason” why offenders should not be forced to wear high-vis jackets while carrying out unpaid work. It would ensure they were “visibly paying their debt to society,” he said.

He referred to them as “fluorescent-jacketed chain gangs” in a move likely to cause controversy due to their historical use in the southern US states and the Transportation era in Australia. It is time to recalibrate the government.

For years now, we have suffered the injustices, cruelties, corruption and abuse of an entrenched government bureaucracy that has no regard for the Constitution or the rights of the citizenry.

By “government,” I’m not referring to the highly partisan, two-party bureaucracy of the Republicans and Democrats. Rather, I’m referring to “government” with a capital “G,” the entrenched Deep State that is unaffected by elections, unaltered by populist movements, and has set itself beyond the reach of the law.

We are overdue for a systemic check on the government’s overreaches and power grabs.

We have lingered too long in this strange twilight zone where ego trumps justice, propaganda perverts truth, and imperial presidents—empowered to indulge their authoritarian tendencies by legalistic courts, corrupt legislatures and a disinterested, distracted populace—rule by fiat rather than by the rule of law.

This COVID-19 pandemic has provided the government with the perfect excuse to lay claim to a long laundry list of terrifying lockdown powers (at both the federal and state level) that override the Constitution: the ability to suspend the Constitution, indefinitely detain American citizens, bypass the courts, quarantine whole communities or segments of the population, override the First Amendment by outlawing religious gatherings and assemblies of more than a few people, shut down entire industries and manipulate the economy, muzzle dissidents, reshape financial markets, create a digital currency (and thus further restrict the use of cash), determine who should live or die, and impose health mandates on large segments of the population.

These kinds of crises tend to bring out the authoritarian tendencies in government.

That’s no surprise: power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Where we find ourselves now is in the unenviable position of needing to rein in all three branches of government—the Executive, the Judicial, and the Legislative—that have exceeded their authority and grown drunk on power.

This is exactly the kind of concentrated, absolute power the founders attempted to guard against by establishing a system of checks of balances that separate and shares power between three co-equal branches: the executive, the legislative and the judiciary.

Fauci’s Claim That 99.2% of COVID Deaths Are Unvaccinated Was a Big Filthy Lie

In news that surprises no one

In the last few weeks, politicians and senior public health officials have insisted over and over that unvaccinated Americans account for essentially ALL of the deaths of people from Covid.

At a White House press briefing on July 22, for example, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy said that “99.5 percent of Covid deaths and 97 percent of hospitalizations are [emphasis added] among the unvaccinated.”

Note that “are,” please. Are is PRESENT tense, something happening NOW.

Murthy isn’t alone.

On Independence Day, Dr. Anthony Fauci answered a question on Meet The Press about deaths IN JUNE by saying that “if you look at the number of deaths, 99.2 percent of them are unvaccinated. About 0.8 percent are vaccinated.”

To be clear on the math here, Fauci’s answer would imply that only about 80 vaccinated people – 0.8 percent of 10,000 – died in June.

These are – how do I put this delicately? – big fat stinking lies. They are off by a factor of at least five, and probably 10 or more.

Let’s put aside that the way public health authorities define vaccinated is NOT the way most people think of being vaccinated. Had one shot of either the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccines? You’re not vaccinated. Had two? Still not vaccinated, not for two weeks.

In countries where health authorities are more honest, statistics on hospitalizations and deaths have three categories – “fully” vaccinated, “partially” vaccinated, and “unvaccinated.” Many cases fall in the middle category. In fact, data show that the vaccines can cause an increase in infections and deaths for up to two weeks after the first dose, possibly because they temporarily suppress immunity by recruiting so many white blood cells to the area of the injection.

The truth is that if we were treating vaccines like other drugs, we would include the “partially” vaccinated cases in the “vaccinated” category because they have occurred AFTER treatment has begun.

The United States does the opposite. When it reports statistics on vaccine hospitalizations or deaths, it ignores partly vaccinated people. They are lumped with those who have never received a dose as “unvaccinated.”

This trick is particularly galling now that the vaccine companies and the government have acknowledged the fact that the mRNA shots begin to lose their protective effect in a matter of months and that many people will need boosters soon.

Biden Gives “Five Eyes” What It Always Wanted: Access To Everyone’s Social Media

For years, Americans have largely ignored corporate social media surveillance. But that all of that is about to change, thanks to President Biden.

No one has taken the White House’s plan to turn Big Tech into a quasi-Five Eyes censorship program seriously despite repeated warnings from journalists and news websites.

Journalist Caitlin Johnstone warned that the White House is pushing for Facebook and Microsoft to censor any social media stories the Feds don’t like.

“After Press Secretary Jen Psaki admitted on Thursday that the administration has given Facebook a list of accounts to ban for spreading misinformation about the Covid vaccine, she has now doubled down saying that people who circulate such materials online should be banned from not just one but all social media platforms.”

The Feds want Big Tech to ban stories and people they do not approve of from social media.

“You shouldn’t be banned from one platform and not others for providing misinformation out there,” Psaki told the press on Friday.

Reuters revealed some of America’s biggest tech companies will let “Five Eyes” and the U.N. decide whose stories the “Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism” should censor.

“Until now, the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism’s (GIFCT) database has focused on videos and images from terrorist groups on a United Nations list and so has largely consisted of content from Islamist extremist organizations such as Islamic State, al Qaeda and the Taliban.”

Big Tech’s GIFCT is essentially a Five Eyes censorship program, masquerading as a Big Tech social media forum to stop terrorism and extremism.

“Over the next few months, the group will add attacker manifestos — often shared by sympathizers after white supremacist violence — and other publications and links flagged by U.N. initiative Tech Against Terrorism. It will use lists from intelligence-sharing group Five Eyes, adding URLs and PDFs from more groups, including the Proud Boys, the Three Percenters and neo-Nazis.”

Twitter and YouTube are also helping help Five Eyes spy on the world’s social media.

“The firms, which include Twitter and YouTube, share “hashes,” unique numerical representations of original pieces of content that have been removed from their services. Other platforms use these to identify the same content on their own sites in order to review or remove it.”

Other companies that have access to the GIFCT database are Reddit, Snapchat, Instagram, Verizon Media, LinkedIn, Dropbox, MailChimp and Airbnb.

Three years ago the mass media warned us about Five Eyes demanding that tech companies give them backdoors to users’ encrypted data, and now they finally got their wish.

The dangers of Big Tech giving URLs, PDFs and personal information to a global intelligence agency will allow governments to secretly track and ID people and organizations they deem a threat.

Radio New Zealand said if one government has access to this information, then other governments will request it as part of doing business with another country.
