Haiti’s president was found with 12 gunshot wounds and his left eye torn out of its socket after a gang of assassins murdered him in the middle of the night, according to a top official. President Jovenel Moïse was killed by a group of armed men on Wednesday and his wife is receiving medical treatment for gunshot wounds in a Florida hospital. 'Moderate' Texas Democrat James Talarico Flat-Out Opposes Voter ID. Period.
Texas state Rep. James Talarico represents a swing-state House district, HD 52. It’s north of Austin, comprised of suburbs and communities in Travis and Williamson counties. Tallarico has billed himself as a moderate Democrat. The seat was held by state Rep. Larry Gonzales (R) for several terms before he retired.
But this week, Talarico fled Texas along with his fellow radicals to block a popular voter-integrity bill that’s up for consideration in the legislature’s special session.
He went on Fox News on Wednesday and admitted that he opposes voter ID. Take a look.
“Pete I just said, I oppose voter ID. It’s currently the law in Texas but I oppose that law,” Talarico admitted to a clearly surprised Pete Hegseth.
That’s a startling admission. Talarico will likely “revise and extend” his comments before long, but he was crystal clear: State Rep. James Talarico, alleged moderate Democrat of House District 52, does not want secure elections in Texas. He opposes voter ID, which is supported by about 80% of Texans, including, presumably, just as strong a majority in District 52.

Amazon Lawsuit: Why 420,000 Products Are Under Scrutiny By Federal Regulators
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has filed a lawsuit against Amazon (AMZN) to force the online retail giant to recall and accept responsibility for more than 420,000 “potentially hazardous” products sold on its website.
The federal agency claimed in its suit that the products are defective and pose a serious injury risk or could even cause death to consumers. The CPSC also contends that Amazon is legally responsible for recalling the products.
The lawsuit names numerous children’s sleepwear items, which the CPSC said are made of flammable fabric - a safety violation that poses a risk of burn injuries to children.
There were also 24,000 carbon monoxide detectors named in the complaint that the agency said are faulty as they fail to alarm, and nearly 400,000 hairdryers, which have been sold without the required immersion protection device that prevents shock and electrocution.
The products were all sold by third-party retailers on Amazon’s marketplace.
Some of the products have since been removed from the platform by Amazon, and customers were notified about the products’ hazards and offered a refund. But CPSC said that the actions by the e-commerce giant are not sufficient, Bloomberg reported.
CPSC spokesman Joe Martyak told Bloomberg that Amazon “did not want to have this be called a recall, and they did not want to be considered legally responsible for these products. That’s the dealbreaker here. We think you are responsible for this.”
An Amazon spokeswoman Cecilia Fan told the Washington Post, “ We are unclear as to why the CPSC has rejected that offer or why they have filed a complaint seeking to force us to take actions almost entirely duplicative of those we've already taken.”
Shares of Amazon were trading at $3,684.30 as of premarket hours on Thursday, up $2.62, or 0.07%.

Pennsylvania County Refuses Participation in New 2020 Election Audit
At least one of three counties targeted for a forensic investigation of Pennsylvania’s 2020 presidential election has said it will not allow access to its voting machines.
Pennsylvania Sen. Doug Mastriano, chair of the Intergovernmental Operations Committee, sent letters to election officials in three Pennsylvania counties, Philadelphia, York, and Tioga, requesting access to voting machines and information to be used as evidence in a forensic analysis of the 2020 election.
Tioga County Commissioners decided not to provide access after receiving a directive from the Pennsylvania Department of State ordering county boards of elections not to provide any access to third parties seeking to examine the systems or system components.
It further warned that if counties do allow access, the voting equipment will be considered no longer secure or reliable to use in future elections. The department would decertify the expensive election equipment and counties would have to buy new voting machines on their own.
“We’ve been given the directive that we cannot give access or they will decertify our machines,” Tioga County Solicitor Christopher Gabriel told the Epoch Times. “The state did two audits after the election. Nothing of significance was found.”
York and Philadelphia counties have not made their intentions public yet; each county has until July 31 to respond in writing to the request for access.

“We want to deal with this with a short, sharp, lockdown, decisive action, not waiting, not dawdling, now is our time.”
Currently the state has 18 cases while at least 6500 residents have been forced into isolation as close contacts. The state’s Department of Health announced new exposure sites overnight as the protesters filled Melbourne’s CBD to oppose the new lockdown rules at around 7pm.
Signs read “I have a choice” and “lockdown kills”, with face masks missing among the crowd.
7 News reporter Estelle Griepink posted footage of protesters chanting “sack Dan Andrews” on the steps of Flinders Street Station while some commuters “walked past shaking their heads”. They marched from Flinders Street Station to Parliament House chanting” freedom” accompanied by a large police presence.
“We’ve spoken to plenty of people today who say they are frustrated but understand these measures are necessary,” Griepink said.
One protester on social media described lockdown as “human rights abuses” and called it a “great turnout”, bragging there are a “couple thousand people here”, claiming they are “just regular every day people who have had enough.
“I’ve got friends who that are really frustrated and on the verge of their businesses going a really bad way.
“As it stands at the moment so many people have lost their businesses, their homes, their families ripped apart.
“We pay the price.”
In more footage, one speaker yells: “Here we go again. Once again, Daniel Andrews has jumped at his own shadow and thrown millions of people’s lives into chaos because he has no faith in his own contact tracers and no faith in our healthcare system. That’s the only possible explanation.”
Victoria Police told news.com.au no arrests or fines were issued and they are “yet” to identify the person responsible for lighting a flare.
“There was a protest at Flinders Street about 7pm this evening,” a spokesperson said.
“Protesters gave speeches and marched to Parliament.
“A flare was lit while the group moved from Flinders Street to Parliament.
“Police are yet to identify who was responsible.
“There were no arrests.”

• Ballot duplication nightmare. Serial numbers are required to match the original and duplicated ballot. “Thousands” of ballots are either missing serial numbers or have unreadable serial numbers printed over a dark black ballot identification box.
Machine Analysis
• Inferior equipment verification process. Senator Peterson noted that if the EAC equipment verification process cannot handle evaluation by an audit, then we need a new certification procedure.
• Security breach, cyber security vulnerabilities, and missing security event data. Ben Cotton of CyFIR emphasized the critical need for router and Splunk log data. He gave 4 reasons:
a) The November election system breach reported by Maricopa County and the SoS.
b) Extreme cyber security vulnerabilities: the last malware and operating system/ security patch update was in August 2019 when the Dominion software was originally installed. “It would take less than 10 min to gain system-level access.”
c) Security event data only goes back to 2/5/21. By design, the security log only holds 20 MB of data. Strangely, on 3/11/21, there were 37,646 queries for a blank password that had had the effect of overwriting the data prior to 2/5/21.
d) Suspicious anonymous logons. CyFIR has found anonymous logons at the system level that do not follow the pattern of normal Windows behavior.
• Maricopa County is unable to validate the security of the election system. The evidence provided suggests that only Dominion is able to verify the ICP configuration. Cotton explains that it’s impossible to validate the security of an election system if you cannot independently validate the configuration. CyFIR needs the authentication fobs held by Dominion to check ICP configuration.
Paper Analysis
• Ballot calibration was off by an average of 1000% leading to bleed-through, which can cause over-votes or inaccurate vote attribution. The County has stated that they use thick VoteSecure paper, which should limit bleed-through in the event of mis-calibration. However, the Cyber Ninjas team found a large number of ballots on very thin paper stock. The ballots printed on-demand at the voting centers on Election Day has the worst calibrations issues. More than 168K ballots were affected.
Voter Rolls
• Voter roll anomalies affect more than 107K ballots. Doug Logan “highly recommends canvassing” based on the data his team has reviewed. For example:
a) There are 74,243 mail-in ballots with no clear record of being sent out
b) 11,326 who voted did not show up on the 11/7 voter rolls, but are listed in the 12/4 database
c) 3,981 who voted on Election Day were registered after 10/15, which is a violation of state law
d) Approximately 18k people voted on Election Day but were subsequently removed from the rolls
Envelopes
• Maricopa County did not turn over images of the envelopes as requested on the January subpoena
The hearing concluded with a review of the 17 missing items needed to complete audit, many of them already subpoenaed, including router data, Splunk logs, hardware tokens, envelope images, chain of custody documentation, and all portable media. Fann stated that the Senate will likely have to go back to court to enforce the subpoena.

'Russiagate' redux: The Guardian's spooky anonymous 'sources' claim Putin put Trump in power, but there's still no hard evidence
Ever since former US President Donald Trump’s shock 2016 election victory rocked the American political establishment, commentators and talking heads have been looking for someone to blame. The easy answer has always been Russia.
On Thursday, London’s Guardian newspaper delivered the latest installment in this long-standing ‘Russiagate’ tradition. Rolling out a series of supposed revelations, intended to shock readers with the scale of the alleged deception behind Trump’s win, journalist Luke Harding, who has previous experience in publishing fake stories on this theme, alleged that Russian President Vladimir Putin “personally authorized a secret spy agency operation to support a ‘mentally unstable’ Donald Trump in the 2016 US presidential election.”
The rationale for the move was apparently that a Trump White House would be more sympathetic to Russian interests, and would sow chaos in the country. Intelligence and security agencies were supposedly told they should use “all possible force” to put the then-Republican front-runner into office. If the plan existed, it backfired catastrophically, given that relations between Moscow and Washington deteriorated to almost unprecedented lows during the years that followed, with sanctions and political rows becoming a regular occurrence.
The bombshell expose is based entirely on “what are assessed to be leaked Kremlin documents,” of unknown origin. According to Harding and his colleagues, “The Guardian has shown the documents to independent experts who say they appear to be genuine.” Who these experts are, where their expertise lies, and why they have not been named remains unclear, despite requests by online commentators.
According to Harding, “Western intelligence agencies are understood to have been aware of the documents for some months,” giving a hint as to where his sources might lie. The article goes on to say that the papers “seem to represent a serious and highly unusual leak from within the Kremlin.” This, however, apparently did not merit a serious verification of their authenticity beyond pointing to some unknown experts, whoever they may be.
Even stranger is the manner in which the report is written up. One line on the purported Kremlin memo “says Trump is the ‘most promising candidate’ from the Kremlin’s point of view,” before going on to add that “the word in Russian is perspektivny.” Quite why, from a secret document presumably entirely written in Russian, the reader would need to know that particular translation is unclear. Maybe it is to reinforce the strange foreignness of the people said to have written it. Perhaps it is just to meet a word count. Or possibly Harding is trying to impress readers with his basic knowledge of Russian. Like those dimwits who say “Kah-Jay-Bay” when referring to the erstwhile KGB. We may never know

I am not speaking for myself here, just postulating what might be prompting other anons on the board to say this, but, when you say "At least I'm not Jewish", anons who have been conditioned, in part thanks to you, to equate double speak and deception with jewish people, anons may be of the impression that you are jewish, because anons would think that a jew would deceive and post inflammatory attacks against jewish people to attract 'sympathy points' from normies and msm.
When Q talked about 'projection' and 'accusing others of what you yourself are doing', and 'focus on the loudest', anons will likely increase their belief that the more you post anti-jew narrative, the more you will be perceived as a jew, even if you claim you're christian.
If jews lie, and spray paint swastikas on their own synagogues, anons might be seeing a pattern in your posts too and conclude you're a jew 'spray painting' anti-jew narrative on 8kun.
Surely you must understand this possibility.
So the question is, given that there appears to be a continually growing consensus among anons that you're a jew posting anti-jew narrative on 8kun, just from a purely 'strategic' game theoretic perspective I would recommend that if you don't want to be 'falsely' portrayed here then maybe you should take the advise from Q and cease posting narrative that divides people by race and/or religion.

So, just some advice, if you want to avoid being 'falsely' labelled, then I would recommend not bashing jews all the time.
Would it REALLY be a 'loss' to you or anyone else if you did? You can't really say you 'need' to bash Jews or else they'll 'get away with it', because you're now being perceived as a lying sort of Jew in the eyes of more and more anons here.
I love you because you're human like me, nobody is above another. We may not agree on everything, but if you are a jew that would be ok with me. Abrahamic religions are all fundamentally the same, the 'radicals' do not 'define' any of the religions, there are many MANY more good Christians, Jews and Muslims than there are bad ones.

50 Year Prison Sentence For San Antonio Man Who Sexually Abused Multiple Children Under 10 Years Old

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A San Antonio man was sentenced to 50 years in prison for sexually abusing multiple children and uploading child pornography to the internet.
MySA reported that 42-year-old John Christopher Delgado was initially arrested in March 2020 on multiple charges of indecency with a child after he uploaded 261 files of child pornography to a Google Drive account. Google reportedly tipped off the Texas Attorney General Office’s Child Exploitation Unit about the photos.
An arrest affidavit states that Delgado also uploaded multiple video where he touched himself over three sleeping children in addition to physically touching one of the children with his genitals. The children were reportedly between the ages of two and 10 years old.
Officials reported that an investigation revealed Olivia Delgado and John recorded themselves sexually abusing a young child together. It is not clear how she is connected to John, but they are identified as co-defendants in this case by the District Attorney’s Office.
Olivia is currently awaiting trial on a charge of super aggravated sexual assault of a child. Super aggravated sexual assault of a child is a first degree felony, punishable by up to life in prison or the death penalty and a fine up to $10,000.
“People who use the internet for this type of activity should not assume they can trade images or videos of child abuse as if there is no one watching. This type of illegal online behavior is something we will not tolerate in our community. The actual abuse of the child is awful, but that these images and videos stay on the internet means these innocent children continue to be abused forever,” said District Attorney Joe Gonzales.

On November 10, 2008 Pittman and his colleagues, Bob Ivry and Alison Fitzgerald, wrote an article headlined “Fed Defies Transparency Aim in Refusal to Disclose.” The article reports as follows:
“The Federal Reserve is refusing to identify the recipients of almost $2 trillion of emergency loans from American taxpayers or the troubled assets the central bank is accepting as collateral.
“Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson said in September they would comply with congressional demands for transparency in a $700 billion bailout of the banking system. Two months later, as the Fed lends far more than that in separate rescue programs that didn’t require approval by Congress, Americans have no idea where their money is going or what securities the banks are pledging in return.”
…but even after the appellate decision went against it, the Fed refused to release the data. First the Fed asked for a rehearing by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. When that was rejected, a Wall Street consortium of banks, that were the actual recipients of the trillions of dollars in secret loans, appealed the case to the U.S. Supreme Court. That appeal failed as well and the Fed was forced to finally release the astonishing sums it had showered on global banks with zero awareness by any elected member of the George W. When all of the Fed’s bailout programs were tallied up, the tab came to a staggering, cumulative $29 trillion, as meticulously analyzed by the Levy Economics Institute. Iris Recognition
Iris recognition or iris scanning is the process of using visible and near-infrared light to take a high-contrast photograph of a person’s iris. It is a form of biometric technology in the same category as face recognition and fingerprinting.
Advocates of iris scanning technology claim it allows law enforcement officers to compare iris images of suspects with an existing database of images in order to determine or confirm the subject’s identity. They also state that iris scans are quicker and more reliable than fingerprint scans since it is easier for an individual to obscure or alter their fingers than it is to alter their eyes.
Iris scanning raises significant civil liberties and privacy concerns. It may be possible to scan irises from a distance or even on the move, which means that data could be collected surreptitiously, without individuals’ knowledge, let alone consent. There are security concerns as well: if a database of biometric information is stolen or compromised, it is not possible to get a new set of eyes like one would get a reissued credit card number. And iris biometrics are often collected and stored by third-party vendors, which greatly expands this security problem.
How Iris Recognition Works
Iris scanning measures the unique patterns in irises, the colored circles in people’s eyes. Biometric iris recognition scanners work by illuminating the iris with invisible infrared light to pick up unique patterns that are not visible to the naked eye. Iris scanners detect and exclude eyelashes, eyelids, and specular reflections that typically block parts of the iris. The final result is a set of pixels containing only the iris. Next, the pattern of the eye’s lines and colors are analyzed to extract a bit pattern that encodes the information in the iris. This bit pattern is digitized and compared to stored templates in a database for verification (one-to-one template matching) or identification (one-to-many template matching).
Iris scanning cameras may be mounted on a wall or other fixed location, or they may be handheld and portable. Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University are developing long-range scanners that could even be used to capture images surreptitiously from up to 40-feet away.
What Kinds of Data Are Collected for Iris Recognition
Iris scanners collect around 240 biometric features, the amalgamation of which are unique to every eye. The scanners then create a digital representation of that data. That numeric representation of information extracted from the iris image is stored in a computer database.
Iris scanning is sometimes used in conjunction with other biometrics, such as fingerprints and face recognition.
Who Sells Iris Recognition Technology
Companies selling iris recognition technology include Aware, BioID, Biometric Intelligence and Identification Technologies, Crossmatch, EyeLock, Gemalto, Idemia, Iridian Technologies, Iris Guard, Iris ID, IriTech, Neurotechnology, Panasonic, Tascent, SRI International, and Unisys. Many of these companies offer multiple forms of biometric identification technology.
How Law Enforcement Uses Iris Recognition
The U.S. military has used iris scanning devices to identify detainees in Iraq and Afghanistan. For example, the handheld biometrics recorder SEEK II allows military personnel to take iris scans, fingerprints, and face scans and port the data back to an FBI database in West Virginia in seconds, even in areas with low connectivity. As is often the case with cutting-edge surveillance technologies developed for use in foreign battlefields, similar iris scanning technology has since been deployed by police departments across the U.S.
The New York City Police Department was among the first police departments to begin using iris recognition. The department installed BI2 Technologies’ mobile MORIS (Mobile Offender Recognition and Information System) in the fall of 2010. Although New York City’s use of iris scanning in jails was supposed to be voluntary, there have been reports of arrestees being held longer for declining iris photographs. Prisons, such as the Rhode Island Department of Corrections, have also begun using the technology. An EFF survey of California law enforcement agencies in 2015 found that sheriff offices in Orange County and Los Angeles County had plans to implement iris scanning technology.
Iris recognition devices are currently being installed in every sheriff’s department along the U.S.-Mexico border. The vendor BI2 offered these sheriffs free three-year trials of its stationary iris capture devices to be used in inmate intake facilities, and it has said it would eventually provide mobile versions as well. The iris templates generated with the mobile app can be compared against hundreds of thousands of other iris templates in less than 20 seconds. The scans will be added to BI2’s private database, which already has close to a million iris scans collected from over 180 law enforcement jurisdictions across the country.
The B12 database is housed by a third-party vendor in an undisclosed location in San Antonio, Texas, and in three other disaster backup facilities. A BI2 executive told The Intercept that it is the largest database of its kind in North America.
Threats Posed by Iris Recognition
Perhaps the biggest threat of iris scanning is the danger of a national database that can track people covertly, at a distance or in motion, without their knowledge or consent. This raises significant civil liberties and privacy concerns which increase as iris data are collected from more and more people. It may be possible for law enforcement officers to use long-range iris scanners on people simply glancing in their rear view mirror after being pulled over. At some point, it’s possible that every person could be identified at any place, even if they are not suspected of committing a crime.
There also are grave concerns with local law enforcement sharing biometric data to help federal immigration agencies such as the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which has direct access to many law enforcement databases.
No biometric is foolproof. A 2009 research study showed that patients with acute iris inflammation (also known as iritis or anterior uveitis) caused current iris recognition systems to fail. A 2012 report from the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) showed that iris recognition technology used to identify an individual in a crowd was inaccurate 1 to 10% of the time. Quality problems were due to poor subject presentation (e.g., a closed eye, rotated iris or off-axis gaze), problems with the capture environment (such as motion or defocus blur, reflections due to excessive ambient lighting or broken LEDs), image processing or storage (such as image compression or corruption), and unusual characteristics inherent in the individual (such as an abnormal pupil shapes). The miss rates (or false negative error rates) for single irises ranged from 2.5% to 20% or higher.
It is also possible to trick or bypass iris scanners. In 2012, security researchers at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid were able to recreate images of irises from digital codes stored in security databases. More recently, hackers with the Chaos Computer Club in Germany were able to bypass the iris-based authentication in Samsung’s Galaxy S8 smartphone (despite the company’s claims of “airtight security,”) by simply taking a digital photograph of the owner’s face in night shot mode, printing it out, superimposing a contact lens on the image, and holding the image in front of the locked phone.

And then there is the issue of data security. It’s unclear what steps, if any, law enforcement agencies are taking to secure the sensitive biometric data they collect. Databases of iris biometric are a honeypot of sensitive, highly personal data that will be targeted by criminals. Data breaches and hacks are at an all-time high. Biometric information is a special risk because it’s not possible to revoke, cancel, or reissue an eyeball if digital biometric information is stolen or compromised. Making the risk of data breach even greater, law enforcement often stores its iris biometrics on databases operated by vendors and other private third parties. This also gives companies access to and control over criminal justice data, which many of their employees can access remotely.

Today the Arizona Senate held a hearing on the current audit of the Maricopa County results in the 2020 Election.
The presentation today in Maricopa covered the process of the current election audit in the County but it also identified the following items.

The Democrat-led California state legislature on Thursday approved the first ever state-funded guaranteed income plan.
The state lawmakers approved of $35 million for monthly cash payments for pregnant women and “young adults who recently left foster care.”
There are no restrictions on how the recipients of the taxpayer-funded cash spend it.
The Associated Press reported:
The votes — 36-0 in the Senate and 64-0 in the Assembly — showed bipartisan support for an idea that is gaining momentum across the country. Dozens of local programs have sprung up in recent years, including some that have been privately funded, making it easier for elected officials to sell the public on the idea.
Local governments and organizations will apply for the money and run their programs. The state Department of Social Services will decide who gets funding. California lawmakers left it up to local officials to determine the size of the monthly payments, which generally range from $500 to $1,000 in existing programs around the country.
“Now there is momentum, things are moving quickly,” said Michael Tubbs, an advisor to Gov. Gavin Newsom, who was a trailblazer when he instituted a guaranteed income program as mayor of Stockton. “The next stop is the federal government.”

Keystone Peak is the highest point in the Sierrita Mountain range, roughly forty miles southwest of Tucson. The Sierrita is a freestanding range, rising from the valley floor to the summit at Keystone. The range is home to a great deal of mining activity, some of which dates back to the turn of the twentieth century. Since that time, the area has been home to the McGee family and now boasts a small township named "McGee Settlement," situated at the trail's entrance point. Starting down the trail, one encounters the "McGee Ranch Cemetery," which has been in use since the 1920s. After 2.6 miles, one encounters McGee Cabin, an abandoned mining cabin built-in 1911 by an ancestor of those still living in the area. The trail and Keystone Peak, all fall on the private property, still owned by the McGee family, but they allow unfettered access to hikers, cyclists, and all-terrain vehicles. Sections of the trail are now leased to the Sierrita Mining & Ranching Company. Keystone Peak is adorned with multiple communications towers whose owners also lease the property from the McGees. Numerous live and abandoned mines dot the hillside as one ascends the trail. The "trail" itself is an improved dirt road requiring no technical ascent capability.
After passing through and closing the gate near the water tank parking area, the trail wanders past the homes of the current McGee family embers residing in the area. Soon after that, the family cemetery is encountered just north of the trail. This section of the trail is level and well-shaded. Deer and squirrel seem to take refuge here and can be seen in abundance. Many side roads and trails break off from the main one. Some lead to mine workings and stock tanks, and others connect to other parts of the range. Most of these trails are unnamed, and some are unmapped. The main trail follows alongside a canyon bottom, slowly gaining grade until it suddenly begins to climb sharply toward Shiloh Pass, a saddle 1.3 miles in from the trailhead. The views to the south from Shiloh Pass are fantastic, and Keystone Peak is not visible for the first time. After the pass, the trail breaks into three segments, continue along the trail to the right (northeast).
Off-trail Option
If there has been significant rain recently, one may wish to continue on the trail heading due west and down into Shiloh canyon. Numerous waterfalls exist along the granite outcroppings in the riparian canyon bottom.

The trail winds its way northwest and then makes a hairpin turn and begins climbing with an increased grade along the ridge's south wall. A series of ever-increasingly large juniper populate this area, and you begin to notice a slight change in the surroundings, which have now become a scrub oak forest. Manzanita and juniper perfume the air, and the workings of a large mine tunnel and its tailings can be seen just across the canyon on the opposing wall below. For a while, the trail levels and begins a slow curve around the ridge heading back toward Placer Peak, which is directly south. After winding around the ridge and retaking a northwesterly course, the trail climbs a short grade, and in the trees just ahead, one can see McGee cabin roughly 2.7 miles in from the trailhead. The cabin is situated in a cleft between the ridge the trail was just following and another connecting from the northwest. A bench, a larger picnic table, and a permanent BBQ grill have been added to the site; however, many of the cabin's original accompaniments are still present. Just north of the cabin sits a well, and to the south and closer to the trail are the remains of an ore grinding pit. The trail climbs away from McGee cabin in a southerly direction heading toward Keystone Peak.
Off-trail Option
Just after leaving McGee Cabin, a rough and steep route drops into the canyon bottom opposite the cabin site and reconnects with the main trail after an eighth of a mile. Along this route lie a spring and some weathered water tanks.
For the next mile and a half, the trail begins to wind into the hills facing away from Placer Peak and heading into a saddle just below Keystone Peak. The trail passes a large mine tunnel after turning northwest and climbing slightly. The grade along this stretch of trail is relatively consistent, and the trees become scarce, as does shelter from the sun. At just about three miles from the trailhead, Bills Spring is encountered. The spring appears to have water available year-round. Just after the spring, the trail begins to ascend steadily into a pass below Keystone Peak. Another trail disembarks here to the west, and the views west become expansive. On a clear day, you can see Kitt Peak and Boboquivari in detail. The trail turns south and begins to climb steadily just below and to the west of Keystone Peak. After circling behind Keystone, the trail crosses paths with a large, active mine tunnel.
The trail continues to climb steadily until reaching a minor saddle overlooking Champurrado Wash to the south. Here the trail turns east and begins climbing sharply. The grade of the trail during this final quarter-mile climb onto the peak is similar to a staircase. Just below, a large mine and support structure are visible in Curparrado Wash. After matching elevation with the communications towers' bases, the trail makes a sharp left turn and joins the summit of Keystone Peak. You've come 4.2 miles, and the elevation is 6171 feet. The views are expansive. Grand vistas exist on the edges of the peak. The best way to take it all in is to walk the edge of the peak in a circle and explore.
Author's Note
When I was on the summit, I encountered a McGee family member who invited me to join him in climbing to a platform atop one of the communications towers. A series of "bolt pegs" forms a ladder, climbing some sixty feet to a small steel platform in the tower's center. He stated that the family didn't have a problem with visitors taking in this tower's view, provided they don't fall. However, be aware that some of the other towers and buildings belong to government agencies and should be left alone.

and since King Gilgamesh was something of a marvel himself,
the men of Uruk were at pains
to make him comfortable.
For King Gilgamesh was governed only by his passions,
and the city of Uruk was governed only by King Gilgamesh.
Gilgamesh: I am sorry for Enkindu that he died,
he was my brother.
And I am sorrier still that I lost Enkindu
Whom I least of all wanted to lose
and with whom I was friends.
But I am doubly sorry
that I, who have until now never lost anything
