I have a wild theory that I need to document here.
Because so many people will be watching, I wanted to find out who would be performing.
The Weeknd (correct spelling). His real name is Abel
Makkonen Tesfaye. He is a Canadian Singer and immigrated from Ethiopia.
This is the first time a single Canadian will do the half-time show EVER. Once before Shania Twain and Dan Acroid shared the half-time performance. This is important because there will be many Canadians watching because Abel is Canadian.
Some early Weeknd songs were heard by Drake’s manager, Oliver El-Khatib, who then touted the singer to be the “God’s Plan” rapper. He's very generous and gives away a lot of money to needy individuals. He did, however, donate to BLM.
When the 2021 Grammy nominations were announced last November, The Weeknd was surprisingly shut out despite having two No. 1 singles --- “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights” — in 2020. After first feeling like it was a “sucker punch,” he’s now singing a different tune. “I personally don’t care anymore,” he told Billboard last month. “I have three Grammys, which mean nothing to me now, obviously.”
When his album “After Hours” was released last March, The Weeknd adopted the persona of a red-jacketed character who’s going through a seriously bad night in Las Vegas, as evidenced by his bloodied face on the cover. Reference to the Las Vegas Shootings? Staying in character throughout the LP’s promotion, he went from having a bandaged nose to showing up at last November’s American Music Awards in full face-dressing. And when he revealed his mug in his “Save Yourself” video, he looked as if he’d just had VERY BAD plastic surgery.
So what gives? “The significance of the entire head bandages is reflecting on the absurd culture of Hollywood celebrity and people manipulating themselves for superficial reasons to please and be validated,” he told Variety this week.
And in his new Pepsi ad teasing his halftime show, The Weeknd has his OLD FACE BACK.

The video opens with a masked man playing a keyboard. Pay attention to the fingers and hair. At 31 seconds you'll see more of the keyboard player. Everyone has masks on but Abel with an obvious bad facelift. The masks are creepy. It reminds me of Stanley Kubrik's film "Eyes Wide Shut" with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. I then slowed the video down to .25 speed and there were a couple of masks I recognized from the movie, Eyes Wide Shut…a frame between 2:34 and 2:35. I'd have to import it into iMovie to capture the frame.
I've attached one of the masks that was in this video and in the movie, Eyes Wide Shut.
He mocks Hollywood buy showing intoxication, the large golden cup and the Eye's Wide Shut Masks.
At Minute 37, listen carefully and it sounds like a background singer singing … ew girl. Sounds just like… drum roll… Michael Jackson. At 3:13, the mannequin has a bandage over his nose. … Like you would have after a nose job. At 3:15, he runs up to the Keyboard Player. Remember, Michael Jackson wore black masks. Look at the keyboard player's physique.
At the end of the video, he puts the gun to his head, pulls the trigger and out comes confetti from the gun, confetti drops from the ceiling and the crowd roars with approval.
Are they going to reveal Michael Jackson at the Half-Time Super Bowl Show? Will he have his old face back? Are they going to reveal others?
Q Post 2843… The fun begins directly after. Will make the Super bowl look like a puppy show. I believe this is the Impeachment Trial.
