By clicking on the individual PO numbers, Anons will find that most of the POs are for Hunter, while one is for Joe Hunter Biden and 2 are for Hunter/Biden. The POs are for hotel rooms, transportation, staff, Secret Service Detail and there is even one foremergency medical treatment(in South Africa). In yet another sign of the Biden Administration’s determination to control, censor, and spy on American social media users, the draft of a proposed deal between Chinese-owned TikTok and the Biden administration shows the latter requesting extraordinary authority over the platform.

The proposed deal, outlined in a 100-page draft obtained by Forbes, would give the U.S. government the power to examine TikTok’s servers with no notice — something that could potentially allow the government to spy on American users.

In a sign of the administration’s preoccupation with censoring social media users, the agreement also reportedly gives the government the power to veto any changes to TikTok’s content moderation policies.

Via Forbes:

The draft agreement, as it was being negotiated at the time, would give government agencies like the DOJ or the DOD the authority to:

Examine TikTok’s U.S. facilities, records, equipment and servers with minimal or no notice,

Block changes to the app’s U.S. terms of service, moderation policies and privacy policy,

Veto the hiring of any executive involved in leading TikTok’s U.S. Data Security org,

Order TikTok and ByteDance to pay for and subject themselves to various audits, assessments and other reports on the security of TikTok’s U.S. functions, and,

In some circumstances, require ByteDance to temporarily stop TikTok from functioning in the United States.

The draft agreement would make TikTok’s U.S. operations subject to extensive supervision by an array of independent investigative bodies, including a third-party monitor, a third-party auditor, a cybersecurity auditor and a source code inspector. It would also force TikTok U.S. to exclude ByteDance leaders from certain security-related decision making, and instead rely on an executive security committee that would operate in secrecy from ByteDance. Members of this committee would be responsible first for protecting the national security of the United States, as defined by the Executive Branch, and only then for making the company money.

While there is bipartisan concern about the influence of Chinese-controlled TikTok on American citizens, past proposals to rein in the platform have been characterized by many observers as little more than a Patriot Act style power-grab, giving the federal government unprecedented authority over a social media platform and its users.

The government is already facing multiple lawsuits and investigations alleging collusion with Big Tech companies to undermine the First Amendment rights of Americans. Its demand to influence the content moderation policies of TikTok is further evidence of its focus on controlling speech on social media.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Points Finger at Automakers for Skyrocketing Car Thefts — Files Outlandish Lawsuit Against Kia and Hyundai

Democrat Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has decided to take legal action against automakers Kia and Hyundai, blaming them for the significant increase in car thefts in the city.

In a lawsuit filed Thursday, Johnson alleges that the companies have a “critical defect” in their vehicles that makes them more susceptible to theft.

For those who have been closely following the rise in crimes in Chicago, the mayor’s lawsuit is an attempt to shift the spotlight away from his own administration’s shortcomings. Crime rates in the city, including car thefts, have been on the rise for several years now because of Democrats’ soft on crime, but the decision to blame car manufacturers rather than address the underlying issues feels nothing short of absurd.

“The impact of car theft on Chicago residents can be deeply destabilizing, particularly for low- to middle-income workers who have fewer options for getting to work and taking care of their families,” said Mayor Brandon Johnson.

“The failure of Kia and Hyundai to install basic auto-theft prevention technology in these models is sheer negligence, and as a result, a citywide and nationwide crime spree around automobile theft has been unfolding right before our eyes,” he added.

Mayor Brandon Johnson announced today that the City has filed a civil lawsuit against Kia America, Inc., Kia Corporation, Hyundai Motor America, and Hyundai Motor Company for their failure to include industry-standard engine immobilizers in multiple models of their vehicles, resulting in a steep rise in vehicle thefts, reckless driving, property damage, and a wide array of related violent crimes in Chicago.

The complaint, which was filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County, alleges that Kia and Hyundai failed to equip their U.S. cars, sold between 2011 and 2022, with vital anti-theft technology, which almost all other car manufacturers made a standard feature over a decade ago and which Kia and Hyundai include in their vehicles sold outside of the country. The Complaint alleges that Kia and Hyundai deceptively assured consumers that these vehicles possessed “advanced” safety features, despite knowing about this critical defect and its consequences.

"Yes, They Were Being Bribed": Fired Ukraine Prosecutor Corroborates Biden Corruption

Victor Shokin, the fired Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Biden family corruption (that Donald Trump was impeached for asking about) has spoken out for the first time since 2019 - and says the Bidens did it.

To review - Shokin had an active and ongoing investigation into Ukrainian energy company Burisma and its owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, according to a 2020 US Senate Committee report.

Zlochevsky, who hired Hunter Biden to sit on his board, granted his own company (Burisma) permits to drill for oil and gas in Ukraine while he was Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources. Shokin stated in a 2019 deposition that there were five criminal cases against Zlochevesky, including money laundering, corruption, illegal funds transfers, and profiteering through shell corporations while he was a sitting minister.

Now, Shokin tells Fox News that be believes the Bidens were taking bribes.

"I do not want to deal in unproven facts. But my firm personal conviction is that yes, this was the case. They were being bribed," Shokin told the outlet. "The fact that Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in U.S. money in exchange for my dismissal - my firing - isn't that alone a case of corruption?" he asks in another clip.

With his twinkly eyes and smooth demeanor that put contestants at ease as they competed for the big prize, Barker was an endearing presence who enlivened daytime TV with an almost effortless charm. From 1972 to 2007, his near-perfect attendance on CBS’s “The Price is Right” became a ritual for millions of housewives and children staying home from school.

With his year-round tan, silver hair, and long-handled microphone, Barker was a TV icon who was often parodied but seldom equaled. Even his daily “The Price is Right” sign-off was memorable: “This is Bob Barker reminding you to help control the pet population: Have your pets spayed or neutered.”

Barker was an animal rights activist before it became fashionable, using his celebrity status to further the cause of numerous groups.

Later, he hosted the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants for two decades — resigning when they declined to use synthetic furs — and even played himself in the 1996 Adam Sandler golf comedy Happy Gilmore.

After paying his dues in local radio and TV, Barker got his big break as host of NBC’s game show “Truth or Consequences,” starting in 1956 and continuing through 1975.

BBC Edits Article on Convicted Paedophile, Removes References to Role as a Pride-Promoting Drag Queen

The BBC is facing accusations of engaging in “Orwellian manipulation” of the news after it edited an article on a convicted paedophile to remove references to his role in organising a Pride event and that he also performed as a drag queen.

In its original article on Andrew Way, who has been sentenced to 34 months in prison this week after a group of paedophile hunters tricked him into thinking that he was sending explicit messages to a 14-year-old boy, the BBC originally included the fact that he has acted as a “drag queen” and that he “had also been organising the first-ever gay Pride event for Welshpool, Powys.”

However, the public broadcaster has since scrubbed both facts from its article as well as having deleted a post on social media referencing Way’s role as a drag queen.

The article now contains the disclaimer: “An earlier version of this story made reference to details not reported in court and has been updated accordingly.”

This explanation did not suffice for many on social media, however, with political commentator Chris Rose writing: “A state broadcaster shouldn’t be selective with facts when they wouldn’t hide details for other groups. I’m sure BBC Verify & Marianna Spring are investigating.”

Comedian and GB News presenter Leo Kearse added: “This isn’t objective journalism – this is Orwellian manipulation of the news to remove facts that don’t align with the establishment narrative.”

Way, who has been active as a drag queen for over four decades under the stage name ‘Miss Gin’, according to The Telegraph, was found to have messaged a paedophile hunting group posing online as a 14-year-old boy that he wanted to meet up to “do it” and even sent pictures of his genitals to what he assumed was a teenage boy.

A frequent attendee of the LGBT Pride events in Wales, the convicted paedophile had already been subject to a lifelong sexual harm prevention order after a 2007 conviction.

Sentencing him to 34 months in prison for his latest offences, Judge Niclas Parry said Way had shown “utter disregard” for previous court orders prohibiting him from unsupervised contact with children, adding: “These were serious and persistent and different breaches,”

It is far from the first time that the BBC has faced accusations of bias in its reporting on transgender issues, with the publicly-funded broadcaster being forced last year to amend an article to reflect that a transgender murderer was not born as a woman as the original article had implied.

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy is set to stand trial on charges that his 2007 election campaign received £42million in illegal financing from the Libyan government under its late dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

Sarkozy, 68, and 12 others will all go on trial in 2025, the national financial prosecutor Jean-Francois Bohnert announced following the closure of the decade-long investigation into the financing.

The case is the biggest of multiple corruption investigations involving the right-wing politician. He has been convicted in two others but denies any wrongdoing in all cases.

In the Libya case, he is charged with illegal campaign financing, embezzling, passive corruption, and related counts.

The trial of the former president, who held the office between 2007 and 2012, will run from January to April 2025. The dozen others also standing trial include three of his former ministers.

Sarkozy has been under investigation in the Libya case since 2013. Investigators examined claims that Gaddafi's regime secretly gave Sarkozy 50 million euros (£42 million) for his winning 2007 campaign.

The sum would be more than double the legal campaign funding limit at the time and would violate French rules against foreign campaign financing.

Sarkozy could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted following trial in the case.

Among the 12 others facing trial in the case are Sarkozy's former right-hand man Claude Gueant, his then head of campaign financing Eric Woerth, and former Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux.

The investigation gained traction when French-Lebanese businessman Ziad Takieddine told news site Mediapart in 2016 that he had delivered suitcases from Libya containing five million euro (£4.2 million) in cash to Sarkozy and his former chief of staff.

Takieddine later reversed course and Sarkozy sought to have the investigation closed.

After becoming president in 2007, Sarkozy welcomed Gaddafi to France with high honours later that year.

Sarkozy then put France at the forefront of NATO-led air strikes that helped rebel fighters topple Mr Gaddafi's government in 2011.

In an unrelated case, Sarkozy was sentenced to a year under house arrest for illegal campaign financing of his unsuccessful 2012 re-election bid. He is free while the case is pending appeal.

Beijing nabs another ‘CIA spy’

Less than a month after the new National Security Law came into effect, China’s security ministry has announced another espionage case allegedly involving the American spy agency.

The Ministry of State Security, or MSS, on Monday accused a government worker of spying for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, the second such case this month, as Beijing ramps up an anti-espionage campaign that it says every Chinese citizen should participate in.

On Aug. 1 China’s national spy agency opened an official WeChat account with the announcement, “Counter-espionage requires the mobilization of [the] entire society.”

WeChat has more than 1.3 billion active monthly users – think of it as Twitter (now known as X), Facebook and daily banking all rolled into one.

The latest arrest by the MSS is a 39-year-old Chinese national, identified only by his surname Hao, whom the ministry claims was recruited by the CIA while he was studying in Japan.

Some China watchers called the latest developments disturbing.

Associate Professor Chongyi Feng of the University of Technology, Sydney in Australia said that since the new National Security Law was implemented, China’s anti-espionage efforts have gone into a state of hyper-vigilance.

“This newly implemented law empowers security personnel to commit injustice. They have a strong motive to fabricate false accusations to gain merit. They can easily concoct a story and then release it to the world. It’s a mechanism of persecution that’s extremely terrifying,” Feng said.

China’s state spy agency said the latest arrest, Hao, was groomed by a U.S. embassy official in Japan while applying for a U.S. visa before introducing him to a colleague name Li Jun, who later revealed himself to be a CIA officer and asked Hao to return to China to work for a “core and critical department.”

Hao allegedly agreed, signed an espionage agreement with the U.S. and received training, the statement said.

Upon returning to China, Hao landed a job at a government ministry, and allegedly met with CIA agents multiple times to “provide intelligence and collect espionage funds,” the Chinese spy agency claimed, adding that the case is under further investigation.

Spies in the woodwork

The MSS statement comes just 10 days after the same ministry claimed it uncovered another Chinese national of spying for the CIA – a worker at an unidentified Chinese military industrial group who was allegedly recruited while studying in Italy.

Ten days ago, the MSS announced that the suspect – identified only by the surname Zeng – had secretly met with CIA personnel multiple times and provided a substantial amount of core Chinese intelligence, and received espionage funds.

The time and location of the case’s occurrence were not disclosed, leaving some to question the veracity of the case.

The number of transgender surgeries nearly tripled in the U.S. starting in 2018 after the Obama administration forced health insurance companies to cover the costs and doctors and hospitals rushed in to reap the rewards of the expensive procedures, a study finds.

The “National Estimates of Gender-Affirming Surgery in the US” study by Columbia University published in August by JAMA finds that transgender-affirming surgeries soared from 4,550 in 2016 to 13,000 by 2019.

“Consistent with prior studies, we identified a remarkable increase in the number” of procedures, study author Dr. Jason Wright wrote.

“These findings suggest that the number of procedures performed in the US has increased dramatically, nearly tripling from 2016 to 2019,” Wright added.

The numbers then doubled twice more between 2000 and 2005 and from 2006 to 2011.

Wright said that the steep rise in the number of surgeries “is likely due in part to federal and state laws requiring coverage of transition-related care.”

The Obama administration first announced in 2014 an end to the 33-year ban on Medicare coverage of transgender care. Then, in 2018, Obamacare extended that policy and forced insurance companies to cover all trans surgeries.

The study also found that the number of patients seeking care for “gender identity disorder” rose from 12,855 in 2016 to 38,470 in 2020.

The study compiled data from two national surgery databases, and the authors looked at both in-patient and out-patient data.

More than half the patients were between the ages of 19 and 30, 22 percent were ages 31 to 40, and eight percent were among patients ages 12 to 18.

The majority of the younger patients, some 3,000 of them, were girls who had their breasts removed, the study found. The number of surgeries on genitals increased with older patients.

In addition, fifteen percent, representing 48,000 patients, appeared to indicate they suffered mental health or substance abuse problems.

The study did not look at suicide rates, but a PLOS ONE study from 2011 that researched transgender surgery patients in Sweden found that transgender patients were 4.9 times more likely to attempt suicide and 19.1 times more likely to die of suicide.

“Persons with transsexualism, after sex reassignment, have considerably higher risks for mortality, suicidal behaviour, and psychiatric morbidity than the general population,” the study found. “Our findings suggest that sex reassignment, although alleviating gender dysphoria, may not suffice as treatment for transsexualism, and should inspire improved psychiatric and somatic care after sex reassignment for this patient group.”

Another recent report found that the U.S. is an outlier among Western nations in its headlong rush to push gender reassignment surgery and other dangerous medical procedures, especially on children, and that European countries — where many of the procedures originated — are beginning to pull back from blanket acceptance of transgender procedures.

On August 26 afternoon, a massive blast rocked the fuel tanks of Khartoum International Airport near the Sudanese capital.

Sources close to the Sudanese army said that the blast was a result of airstrikes that targeted ammunition depots of the paramilitary Rapid Support Force (RSF). However, this is yet to be confirmed.

Video footage that surfaced on social media showed a massive fireball erupting from the airport. The extent of damage caused by the massive blast is still unknown.

The blast came following intense clashes between the army and the RSF in the capital Khartoum and its sister city Omdurman in recent days. At least seven civilians were reported killed in the fighting.

The army’s Commander-in-Chief General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the commander of the RSF General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo ruled Sudan as the president and vice-president of the so-called Sovereign Council after a coup in October 2021.

In mid-April, a heated conflict broke out between the two forces as a result of a disagreement over how the RSF should be integrated into the army and what authority should oversee the process during transition to civilian-led rule in the Arab country.

The United States and Saudi Arabia, who maintain good relations with both the Sudanese army and the RSF, intervened to launch talks and help broker a ceasefire. However, the two forces are yet to reach a settlement.

Since the start of the conflict in Sudan, around ten thousand people have been killed and more than four million have been displaced, especially in Khartoum and Darfur state.

Third-Largest U.S. Oil Refinery Forced to Shut Down Following Devastating Fire in Garyville, Louisiana

A towering inferno erupted at a south Louisiana oil refinery on Friday morning, sending plumes of black smoke and forcing an emergency evacuation of residents within a two-mile radius. Although no injuries were reported, the incident has reignited concerns about the safety of such facilities, especially as it’s the third fire to hit the plant in less than a year.

The fire broke out around 8:30 a.m. at the Marathon Petroleum facility in Garyville, situated about 30 miles northwest of New Orleans, according to WBRZ.

Officials from St. John the Baptist Parish reported that the incident involved a naphtha release and a fire at one of the refinery’s storage tanks. The Biden administration has blocked off millions of acres of federal waters from a planned oil and gas lease sale after settling with environmental groups over habitat protections for a rare species of whale.

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) said in an Aug. 23 notice that, as part of Lease Sale 261, it will offer around 67 million acres in the Gulf of Mexico for oil and gas drilling.

That is around 9 percent, or 6.4 million acres, less than BOEM's original proposal, following a settlement with environmental groups that pauses ongoing litigation over environmental protections in the Gulf of Mexico in exchange for excluding Rice's whale habitat from any lease sales.

Environmental groups praised the exclusions, while representatives of the oil and gas industry called the carveouts "unfounded" and said the restrictions would needlessly hamper domestic energy production.

Some lawmakers also objected to the exclusions, including Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.

“This Administration continues to kowtow to radical environmentalists at the expense of American energy security and costs to American families," Mr. Manchin said in a statement obtained by The Epoch Times.

Rice's whale is one of the most endangered marine mammal species on the planet, with an estimated population of just 51 individuals, around 100 scientists told the Biden administration in an open letter (pdf) last year.

Arguing that the loss of even a single whale threatens the survival of the entire species, the scientists urged the Biden administration to disallow oil and gas drilling in and around the whale's habitat.

Under the crazy legal theories being pushed in her indictment, every lawyer in Georgia who represents a defendant and makes statements that turn out to be wrong or legal arguments that are ultimately rejected could be accused of conspiring with his or her client to commit a crime.

In other words, they could be charged with a crime for doing what the professional code of conduct tells the lawyer he is supposed to do; namely, represent the interests of his client to the best of his abilities.

The 98-page indictment contains 41 counts, all of which are centered around Georgia’s “RICO” statute— the Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act—and it includes “co-conspirators,” among them Trump’s former chief of staff, Mark Meadows; and Trump’s former lawyers, among them Rudy Giuliani.

This is a statute that was designed to go after mob operations and the kinds of criminal conspiracies run by dangerous drug cartels, not candidates contesting an election outcome.

Trump as Tony Soprano? Seriously?

But Willis apparently thinks that Donald Trump is the equivalent of Tony Soprano and the other defendants are his Cosa Nostra wiseguys.

And why? Because, according to the indictment, they “knowingly and willfully joined a conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome of the election in favor of Donald Trump.”

How does RICO come into it? Willis claims that the “conspiracy contained a common plan and purpose to commit two or more acts of racketeering activity in Fulton County, Georgia, elsewhere in the State of Georgia, and in other states,” including Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia.

This indictment is the most outrageous, outlandish misuse of a RICO statute that I have ever seen and it fails to establish a credible violation of the law.

And apparently, Fulton County DA Willis thinks she not only has statewide jurisdiction in Georgia, but also has jurisdiction over acts that supposedly happened in six other states and the District of Columbia.

I am sure the attorneys general of those states will be surprised to learn that.

In order to justify her fantasy, Willis lists a series of actions that occurred from Nov. 4, 2020, to Sept. 15, 2022, which were supposedly overt acts in furtherance of the conspiracy. But Willis lists incident after incident (what the indictment terms “Acts”) of perfectly legal actions that not only don’t violate any laws, but are fully protected under the First Amendment.

Shocking details of corruption and suppression in the world of peer-reviewed climate science have come to light with a recent leak of emails. They show how a determined group of activist scientists and journalists combined to secure the retraction of a paper that said a climate emergency was not supported by the available data. Science writer and economist Dr. Roger Pielke Jr. has published the startling emails and concludes: “Shenanigans continue in climate science, with influential scientists teaming up with journalists to corrupt peer review.”

The offending paper was published in January 2022 in a Springer Nature journal and at first attracted little attention. But on September 14th the Daily Sceptic covered its main conclusions and as a result it went viral on social media with around 9,000 Twitter retweets. The story was then covered by both the Australian and Sky News Australia. The Guardian activist Graham Readfearn, along with state-owned Agence France-Presse (AFP), then launched counterattacks. AFP ‘Herald of the Anthropocene’ Marlowe Hood said the data were “grossly manipulated” and “fundamentally flawed”.

After nearly a year of lobbying, Springer Nature has retracted the popular article. In the light of concerns, the Editor-in-Chief is said to no longer have confidence in the results and conclusion reported in the paper. The authors were invited to submit an addendum but this was “not considered suitable for publication”. The leaked emails show that the addendum was sent for review to four people, and only one objected to publication.

What is shocking about this censorship is that the paper was produced by four distinguished scientists, including three professors of physics, and was heavily based on data used by the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The lead author was Professor Gianluca Alimonti of Milan University and senior researcher of Italy’s National Institute of Nuclear Physics. Their paper reviewed the available data, but refused to be drawn into the usual mainstream narrative that catastrophises cherry-picked weather trends. During the course of their work, the scientists found that rainfall intensity and frequency was stationary in many parts of the world, and the same was true of U.S. tornadoes. Other meteorological categories including natural disasters, floods, droughts and ecosystem productivity showed no “clear positive trend of extreme events”. In addition, the scientists noted considerable growth of global plant biomass in recent decades caused by higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

In fact this scandal has started to attract comparison with the Climategate leaks of 2009 that also displayed considerable contempt for the peer-review process. One of the co-compilers of the Met Office’s HadCRUT global temperature database Dr. Phil Jones emailed Michael Mann, author of the infamous temperature ‘hockey stick’, stating: “I can’t see either of these papers being in the next IPCC report. Kevin and I will keep them out somehow – even if we have to redefine what the peer-reviewed literature is!”

Interestingly, Professor Michael Mann of the University of Pennsylvania, has a part to play in this latest de-platforming exercise. In the Guardian attack article he said it was another example of scientists from “totally unrelated fields” coming in and naïvely applying inappropriate methods to data they don’t understand. “Either the consensus of the world’s climate experts that climate change is causing a very clear increase in many types of weather extremes is wrong, or a couple of nuclear physics dudes in Italy are wrong,” he said.

The Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) is planning to launch its Smart Lander for Investigating Moon (SLIM) mission on Sunday (Aug. 27) at 8:26 p.m. EDT (0026 GMT and 9:26 a.m. Japan time on Aug. 28). The mission will launch from Tanegashima Space Center atop the Japan's H2-A rocket. SLIM's landing, which is expected to occur four to six months from now, will be Japan's second attempt in recent months to put hardware on the moon's surface. JAXA is a partner in the NASA-led Artemis Accords that are aiming for the moon while establishing peaceful norms in space. The accords have dozens of signatories so far, and Japan is among the nations actively participating in NASA's human moon program, called Artemis.

Last year, U.S. president Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida confirmed Japan will have a key role in Artemis missions.

A Japanese astronaut will go to NASA's planned Gateway moon-orbiting space station, and both Biden and Kishida have a "shared ambition" to put a Japanese astronaut on the moon, NASA officials stated at the time. Beijing has embarked on an ambitious strategy that includes taking a nationwide genetic survey of its 1.4 billion people every half-decade. The new plan has sparked concerns over the authoritarian regime's violation of personal privacy, and its possible anti-humanitarian motives.

China's Ministry of Science and Technology recently promulgated regulations for the management of China's human genetic resources, effective July 1. Almost buried in wordy statements about "filing, prior reporting, supervision, and inspection" of human genetic resources is the mandate that a "national survey of human genetic resources shall be carried out every five years and may be carried out according to actual needs when necessary."

According to the ordinance, human genetic resources comprise “materials”—substances like organs, tissues, and cells that contain human genes; and “information”—data generated from the use of the “material.”

Political commentator Zhuge Mingyang spoke to The Epoch Times on Aug. 15 about China's genetic plan.“Overseeing the Chinese people in terms of bioengineering and genetics and then threatening the whole world: this is [CCP’s] ultimate purpose," he said.

Mr. Zhuge believes that research into human genetics could affect health care, biosecurity, the economy, national defense, and many other areas. However, he said that past evidence suggests that the CCP's aims may be even more sinister or controversial.

Massive Arbitrary DNA Collection

The new guidelines mandate that those who collect genetic information must “respect and protect the privacy and rights of providers and obtain written informed consent.” However, that sort of transparency under the CCP’s rules has long been questioned.

In September 2016, CCP mouthpiece CCTV claimed that China has the world’s largest national gene bank. This suggests that China has long been collecting genetic data without seeking the consent of the people concerned, experts say.

A report released in 2022 by New York-based Human Rights Watch (HRW) indicated that a massive arbitrary collection of DNA from residents had taken place in all seven prefectures or municipalities of the Tibet Autonomous Region, covering the western part of the Tibetan Plateau.

A Republican congressman has filed a bill to cut off federal funds from the Fulton County’s district attorney’s office due to the indictment and arraignment of former President Donald Trump over his efforts to legally contest the 2020 election results in the State of Georgia.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), a member of the House Freedom Caucus, filed the WILLIS Act, which stands for the Withholding Investments from Lawless Litigators in States Act.

The Willis Act would ensure that “no Federal funds may be awarded or otherwise made available to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.”

The bill would also rescind the “unobligated balances of all amounts allocated” or “otherwise made available” to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.

The Willis Act would also “require the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office to reimburse the Federal Government for all amounts expended for such Office after the date of January 1, 2021,” which is when Willis took office.

“The indictments from the Fulton County Grand Jury are some of the weakest and most ridiculous I’ve ever seen,” Biggs said in a statement. “President Trump and the 18 others mentioned were indicted for mundane activities like sending a text message, making a phone call, reserving a conference room, and tweeting. This is a blatant attack on American freedoms. Our national debt is at an all-time high. We cannot afford to have our federal government funding corrupt DA Offices’ quests for national fame through political witch hunts.”

Trump was arraigned in Fulton County on 13 felony charges, including racketeering, along with 18 other co-defendants over their challenging of 2020 election results in Georgia.

Since Trump’s indictment earlier this month, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has drawn fire from House Republicans, who opened an investigation into her office on Thursday.

The Willis Act faces stiff opposition in the U.S. Senate from all Democrats and if it somehow survived it would certainly be vetoed by President Biden.

WASHINGTON — Stanford University law professor Pamela Karlan, best known for her 2019 testimony in favor of impeaching then-President Donald Trump, quietly left the Justice Department this month as a conservative group ratcheted up attacks on an “unethical” arrangement in which she continued to earn nearly $1 million a year from Stanford while working for the government.

Karlan joined the department on Feb. 8, 2021, shortly after President Biden’s inauguration, and served about 17 months as principal deputy assistant attorney general for civil rights before she departed on July 1 with little fanfare.

Karlan’s role was slated to last until at least Aug. 22 and possibly run into September, meaning she stepped down about two months earlier than planned. She left one business day before the department delivered documents to the American Accountability Foundation pursuant to a Freedom of Information Act request, bringing more attention to her unusual pay provisions. ...

In dismissing a case by Ohio citizens against Carl Lindner's takeover bid of Home State Savings Bank of Cincinnati on

June 12, Ohio Judge Niehaus exonerated a man whose compulsive swindling practices are now helping bring the U.S. economy into ruin, and handing the U.S. economy over, dirt

cheap, to financier interests committed to the destruction of the United States.

The Cincinnati-based Lindner's multimillion-dollar fortune derives not only from revenues accrued from international traffickingin narcotics, but also from "corporate raiding" ventures which are dismantling the fabric of the U.S. industrial sector.

Using a financial base derived from his American Financial Corporation holding company-which has a complex

network of approximately 40 subsidiary companies-and from

majority-stockholder control over such giants as the drug-linked United Brands Corporation and Penn Central, Lindner has become one of the chief partners in a racket known as the

"junk bonds" market.

This market is controlled by New York's Drexel Burnham investment house. Totaling $16 billion in 1984 (a large increase) the junk bonds market has reached almost that level

in the first six months of 1985, and has propelled Drexel to the number-two position in the U.S. corporate-securities market.

"Junk bonds" usually involve the establishment of shell corporations, which are formed for the sole purpose of organizing "takeover raids" on targeted corporations. The "bonds" offer high yields, but, obviously, at very high risk,

since the takeover may fail. Only individuals with enormous sums of money at their immediate disposal are capable of

playing the swindle-game in style; the money which is used to syndicate the takeovers is usually derived from dope money which has been laundered overseas.

Lindner is one of the select few who sits atop this swindle market.
