Andrew Tate, of course, became a TikTok sensation for his comments on many different issues including dating, work, and success for men and for refusing to bow to the woke, pajama-boy left.

Florida on Saturday became the most recent U.S state to allow people to carry a concealed gun without a government-issued permit. The state joins 25 others in allows for so-called "conceal carry," but those wanting to do so in Florida still must pass a background check and go through a three-day waiting period to purchase a gun. Other states that do not require a license to conceal carry include Alabama, Kansas and Oklahoma. The law went into effect July 1, after Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the legislative measure into law in April. There were no reports Saturday of problems related to the law going into effect.

Owney Madden, Joseph Bonanno, Frank Costello, and the Lower East Side’s Lansky-Siegel gang all claimed to have ties with Joseph Kennedy, father of the future U.S. President, during Prohibition. The Kennedys have consistently maintained that ‘the patriarch’ was neither a smuggler nor a bootlegger and so has David Nasaw, Kennedy’s most recent biographer — neither in New England, where he lived until the eighth year of Prohibition nor in metropolitan New York, where he lived and worked thereafter.

Madden, who owned Harlem’s famous Cotton Club in the 1920s, claimed that Kennedy's liquor was served there. But who was Madden? He was an Irish immigrant by way of England, serving a sentence for manslaughter in Sing Sing prison until the fourth year of Prohibition. After his release, he hijacked liquor trucks belonging to West Side smuggler and bootlegger “Big Bill” Dwyer until Dwyer took him on as a partner in the Phoenix Brewery on West 26th, the largest illegal brewery in Manhattan, with annual profits in the millions. Madden used those profits to buy nightclubs, and his brewery, fittingly enough, introduced a new drink, “Madden's No.1,” which became the best-selling beer in New York City at the time. Forced to return to prison in the early 1930s for violating probation, Madden settled in Hot Springs, Arkansas, after his release, where he ran a gambling retreat. In the early 1960s, Attorney General Robert Kennedy's campaign against crime included a focus on Hot Springs, which declined as a gambling mecca as Las Vegas surpassed it.

Well after Prohibition, Madden claimed to his Arkansas attorney that he sold Kennedy's liquor in his Manhattan nightclubs. But he might possibly have confused the Boston-born Kennedy with an unknown liquor businessman named Daniel Joseph Kennedy, who went by his middle name. This Joseph Kennedy developed Kennedy's Jazz Cocktails and, most popular, Kennedy's Silk Hat Cocktails. These drinks were produced in Canada and smuggled to the U.S. by Joseph Kennedy Limited, a Canadian company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, founded by D. Joseph Kennedy.

Born in the American Midwest, this Canadian Kennedy lived in New York City at the turn of the century and became a liquor buyer in Europe for Nathan Straus, co-owner of Macy’s. After moving to Canada prior to World War I, he developed his cocktail lines and founded his company in the early 1920s. He sold the company a few years later to the Reifel brothers of Vancouver, who owned a large distillery and brewery. Circa 1927, the Canadian government accused Joseph Kennedy Limited of smuggling liquor to the U.S. in bottles with forged U.S. Revenue stamps and forced the company into dissolution by the early 1930s.[1]

If Madden confused the Bostonian/New Yorker with the Canadian producer/smuggler, he was not the only one to make this mistake. In the 1990s, the producers of Arts & Entertainment, an American television show, “discovered” a photo of the Joseph Kennedy Warehouse in Vancouver while doing research for a show on Prohibition. They jumped to the conclusion this photo was the long-sought proof that the Boston patriarch was a smuggler/bootlegger, ignoring the fact that Vancouver was 3000 miles from the East Coast. Others followed this lead, including a scholar writing a book about the Canadian underworld, and a reporter writing a book about the Chicago mob.[2]

A fake press release, purportedly written by the Direction Générale de la Police Nationale, is circulating on Twitter this Sunday.

It claims that temporary restrictions on Internet access have been decided by the Minister of the Interior in the context of urban violence.

Don't be fooled by this fine example of misinformation. This Saturday, a number of Twitter users came across a circular bearing the official logo of the French Ministry of the Interior and Overseas Territories, entitled "Sécurité renforcée suite aux émeutes" ("Increased security following the riots"). The document, signed "Direction Générale de la Police Nationale", states that "new measures" have been taken "to prevent public order disturbances" in the context of urban violence following the death of young Nahel, killed by a policeman in Nanterre on June 27.

"From July 3 and for a set period, temporary restrictions will be applied to Internet access in certain specific neighborhoods during night-time hours. These restrictions aim to prevent the misuse of social networks and online platforms to coordinate illegal actions and incite violence", it is also written in this alleged communiqué... which is nothing but fake news.

Interesting old leather bound medical book: CANCER IT'S PROPER TREATMENT AND CURE, Escharotic Treatment Founded in 1896 by Perry Nichols, M. D., Dr. Nichols Sanatorium, Savannah, Missouri. Published 1929. It is in good condition with some discoloring and wear to be expected at its age. T is a name written in ink in the front of the book, "Mrs. M. L. Whitten book". It measures 9 1/2 "X 6 1/2". Dr. Nichols was an interesting character who claimed to have found the cure for cancer. The title page of the book: "The Value of ESCHAROTICS, Medicines which will destroy any living or fungus tissue in the treatment of Cancer & Lupus Sarcoma or any other form of malignancy." The first pages of the book have wonderful black and white photos of Dr. Nichols, the directors, doctors and nurses at the sanatorium plus pictures of the rooms and beautiful grounds. Some of the chapter titles are: Cause of Cancer Pathology of Cancer Bad Method of Treatment Vs. Escharotics The Cure of Cancer The majority of the book (pg. 55-267) is devoted to testimonials and references. T is also an expense page at the back with charges for a stay at the sanatorium. $10. PER WEEK or $12 if food was delivered to the room! Plus the fees for treatment which varied from case to case but usually ranging from $25. to $300.!! This is an intriguing old book and a great medical collectible. It was in 1895, at age 32, that Nichols, already a successful farmer and real estate agent, first learned of escharotic treatment of skin cancer from two doctors practicing at an Iowa clinic called the Cherokee Sanatorium. After talking to patients convinced they were cured, Nichols set to work on his own escharotic formula, which he kept secret. In 1896, he spent time working with the same two physicians, and claimed to have treated 40 to 50 patients successfully. By November of that year, he had opened his own practice. Hampered by the lack of a medical degree, he hired a physician in 1897, and pursued his own M.D. degree, which he received from the University of the South-Sewanee in 1901. Sideline becomes main business Nichols moved to South Dakota intending to open a general medical practice. However, his sideline of escharotic cancer treatment quickly became his main business. In 1905 he was recruited to the city of Hot Springs to head an 80-bed sanatorium. In 1911, a branch was opened in Excelsior Springs, Mo., and a year later, Nichols was recruited to Savannah, Mo., a location he liked for its central location, available land, and good transportation, including an interurban railway to bring patients to and from St. Joseph. It was that Nichols' practice thrived, and in 1924, construction was started on a new brick building that had at least 200 beds. Nichols became ill and died of congestive heart failure in August 1925, but the clinic didn't close until 1956.

French mayor’s family targeted in ‘shocking’ attack

A group of rioters rammed the house of the top official of a Parisian suburb with a car and apparently tried to set it ablaze

The house of the mayor of the southern Parisian suburb of L’Hay-les-Roses, Vincent Jeanbrun, was attacked on Sunday by unknown assailants as France continues to endure widespread rioting triggered by a fatal police shooting.

The mayor, a member of the conservative Les Republicains party, was not at home at the time of the incident, but his wife and two children were sleeping in the house and had to flee.

“At 01:30am, as I was in the town hall just like the two previous nights, people ram-raided my home before starting a fire to torch my house, where my wife and my two young children were sleeping,” the mayor said on Twitter, adding that his wife and one of his children was hurt during the attack.

Jeanbrun denounced the incident as an “assassination attempt,” insisting, nonetheless, that his determination to “protect and serve” France was “greater than ever” in the wake of the attack.

The mayor’s home was visited by French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne later on Sunday, who denounced the incident as “particularly shocking.” “We will let no violence get by,” she told reporters on the scene, pledging to punish the perpetrators with the “utmost severity.” Thus far, however, no suspects have been apprehended.

Footage from the scene shows the fence of the mayor’s house partially destroyed, with several burn marks visible on it and on the ground. The house itself appears to be smeared with soot. A criminal case into the incident has been launched, with Creteil public prosecutor Stephane Hardouin telling French media that an initial assessment suggested that the car used in the attack was meant to breach the house and set it ablaze. The damaged vehicle recovered from the scene contained a bottle of accelerant in it, the official added.

France has been enduring a wave of widespread rioting, with numerous properties vandalized, cars torched, and public buildings attacked in many locations. The unrest was triggered by the fatal police shooting of 17-year-old Nahel M. during a traffic stop in the Paris suburb of Nanterre, which occurred on Tuesday. While hundreds of rioters have been arrested and some 45,000 law enforcement officers deployed to quell the unrest, the rioting continues across the country.

Dutch police have arrested one suspect after the Belarusian embassy in The Hague was vandalized. The building’s windows were smashed and its facade sprayed with graffiti.

A 31-year-old man was arrested outside the embassy on Saturday night, the Omroep West news network reported on Sunday. It is unclear whether anyone else was involved in the vandalism.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry confirmed the incident to Sputnik Belarus.

Several windows were smashed and slogans were sprayed onto the building with black and red paint. One read “Luka – Terrorist,” referring to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, while another read “Long live Belarus.”

“The recently unsealed Halderman Security Analysis explains that the Dominion voting system was not designed, engineered or tested with the necessary security provisions and cannot be retrofitted to satisfactorily include them. Secretary Raffensperger has misled legislators and county election officials by touting an unsigned Mitre report that was funded by Dominion and produced without access to the voting system. It has been discredited by 29 cyber security experts and computer science professors on grounds that the entire report is based on a ‘ridiculous’ false assumption that all current physical access controls cannot be compromised.

No patch will ensure our voting system is secure because the Secretary continues to fight to keep the paper ballots it produces secret. Our scanners are as unsecure as the Ballot Marking Devices and more dangerous because they control what is tabulated. The Halderman analysis shows our scanners accept photocopied ballots. Evidence shows photocopies were scanned and accepted in 2020 and 2022 elections. We also determined thousands of low-resolution Dominion ballot images were electronically altered prior to the 2020 election certification.

The solution to this problem is to unplug Georgia from the voting system. Voters must cast hand-marked, security grade paper ballots, hand counted in public at polling locations. The Secretary refuses to do this because he purchased the system. That system is unverifiable to the voter and it was declared illegal by the U.S. District Court prior to the 2020 election.

If Secretary Raffensperger continues refusing to unplug this system, the only other solution is to unseal all paper ballots the system has produced and will produce in the future. Publicly available ballots are necessary to verify electronic results and detect counterfeit ballots as soon as results are certified. Therefore, we call upon Secretary Raffensperger to immediately request Superior Courts statewide to unseal all paper ballots for the 2020, 2022, and 2024 elections. Georgians deserves honest proof of secure, transparent elections.”

A Boston City Council member, who hails herself as a socialist Democrat, has been accused of wrecking her car into a home in the Jamaica Plains District while driving uninsured, in an unregistered vehicle and while have her license suspended.

Kendra Lara, who has publicly called for the Democratic party to shift towards Socialism, totaled her Honda Civic when she ran through a metal fence, bushes and proceeded to hit the left side of a Jamaica Plain’s home.

Lara’s 4-year-old son, who was not in a booster seat, was also in the car at the time of the crash and had to be sent to Boston Children’s Hospital to receive several stitches.

A witness to the crash said he was driving at the normal speed limit when he saw Lara’ Civic zoom past him and take a hard left into a house.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. Southern District of Texas in Galveston, argues that the FDA has overstepped its authority and unjustifiably interfered with their medical practice.

The plaintiffs, Drs. Mary Talley Bowden, Paul E. Marik, and Robert L. Apter, are contesting the FDA’s portrayal of ivermectin as dangerous for human consumption. They note that the FDA has approved ivermectin for human use since 1996 for a variety of diseases. However, they allege that with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the FDA began releasing documents and social media posts discouraging the use of the anti-viral drug for COVID-19 treatment.

“We’re suing the FDA for lying to the public about ivermectin,” said Dr. Bowden.

U.S. law is cited in the complaint, including the provision that the FDA “may not interfere with the authority of a health care provider to prescribe or administer any legally marked device to a patient for any condition or disease within a legitimate health care practitioner-patient relationship.”

“The cited statements were not directives,” said Isaac Belfer, one of the lawyers. “They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin.”

“They use informal language, that is true… It’s conversational but not mandatory,” he continued.

However, the statement from the lawyer contradicted to FDA’s social media post, stating, “Hold your horses, y’all. Ivermectin may be trending, but it still isn’t authorized or approved to treat COVID-19.”

Interesting old leather bound medical book: CANCER IT'S PROPER TREATMENT AND CURE, Escharotic Treatment Founded in 1896 by Perry Nichols, M. D., Dr. Nichols Sanatorium, Savannah, Missouri. Published 1929. It is in good condition with some discoloring and wear to be expected at its age. T is a name written in ink in the front of the book, "Mrs. M. L. Whitten book". It measures 9 1/2 "X 6 1/2". Dr. Nichols was an interesting character who claimed to have found the cure for cancer. The title page of the book: "The Value of ESCHAROTICS, Medicines which will destroy any living or fungus tissue in the treatment of Cancer & Lupus Sarcoma or any other form of malignancy." The first pages of the book have wonderful black and white photos of Dr. Nichols, the directors, doctors and nurses at the sanatorium plus pictures of the rooms and beautiful grounds. Some of the chapter titles are: Cause of Cancer Pathology of Cancer Bad Method of Treatment Vs. Escharotics The Cure of Cancer The majority of the book (pg. 55-267) is devoted to testimonials and references. T is also an expense page at the back with charges for a stay at the sanatorium. $10. PER WEEK or $12 if food was delivered to the room! Plus the fees for treatment which varied from case to case but usually ranging from $25. to $300.!! This is an intriguing old book and a great medical collectible. It was in 1895, at age 32, that Nichols, already a successful farmer and real estate agent, first learned of escharotic treatment of skin cancer from two doctors practicing at an Iowa clinic called the Cherokee Sanatorium. After talking to patients convinced they were cured, Nichols set to work on his own escharotic formula, which he kept secret. In 1896, he spent time working with the same two physicians, and claimed to have treated 40 to 50 patients successfully. By November of that year, he had opened his own practice. Hampered by the lack of a medical degree, he hired a physician in 1897, and pursued his own M.D. degree, which he received from the University of the South-Sewanee in 1901. Sideline becomes main business Nichols moved to South Dakota intending to open a general medical practice. However, his sideline of escharotic cancer treatment quickly became his main business. In 1905 he was recruited to the city of Hot Springs to head an 80-bed sanatorium. In 1911, a branch was opened in Excelsior Springs, Mo., and a year later, Nichols was recruited to Savannah, Mo., a location he liked for its central location, available land, and good transportation, including an interurban railway to bring patients to and from St. Joseph. It was that Nichols' practice thrived, and in 1924, construction was started on a new brick building that had at least 200 beds. Nichols became ill and died of congestive heart failure in August 1925, but the clinic didn't close until 1956.

On Monday, the House Judiciary Committee released a report on how the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) “colluded with Big Tech and ‘disinformation’ partners to censor Americans,” adding to the informational firehose we work to imbibe.

The 36-page report raises three familiar issues: first, government actors worked with third parties to overturn the First Amendment; second, censors prioritized political narratives over truthfulness; and third, an unaccountable bureaucracy hijacked American society.

CISA’s Collusion to Overturn the First Amendment

The House Report reveals that CISA, a branch of the Department of Homeland Security, worked with social media platforms to censor posts it considered dis-, mis-, or malinformation. Brian Scully, the head of CISA’s censorship team, conceded that this process, known as “switchboarding,” would “trigger content moderation.”

Additionally, CISA funded the nonprofit EI-ISAC in 2020 to bolster its censorship operations. EI-ISAC worked to report and track “misinformation across all channels and platforms.” In launching the nonprofit, the government boasted that it “leverage[d] DHS CISA’s relationship with social media organizations to ensure priority treatment of misinformation reports.”

The switchboard programs directly contradict sworn testimony from CISA Director Jen Easterly. “We don’t censor anything… we don’t flag anything to social media organizations at all,” Esterly told Congress in March. “We don’t do any censorship.” Her statement was more than a lie; it omitted the institutionalization of the practice she denied. The agency’s initiatives relied on a collusive apparatus of private-public partnerships designed to suppress unapproved information.

This should sound familiar.

Alex Berenson gained access to thousands of Twitter communications that uncovered concrete evidence that government actors – including White House Covid Advisor Andy Slavitt – worked to censor him for criticizing Biden’s Covid policies.

White House Director of Digital Strategy Rob Flaherty privately lobbied social media groups to remove a video of Tucker Carlson reporting the link between Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine and blood clots.

An after-action report has blamed the failed evacuation from Kabul on the insistence of both Trump and Biden to quickly end the war

The US State Department released its long-awaited after-action report on the botched 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan on Friday.

The assessment blamed the snafu primarily on the insistence of Presidents Donald Trump and Joe Biden on going ahead with a full military withdrawal. The decision to “end the US military mission in Afghanistan had serious consequences for the viability of the Afghan government and its security,” it stated.

The loss of military “enablers” put Washington’s diplomatic presence in the country at risk, while the departure deadlines set first by the Trump and then the Biden administrations were not accompanied by a sufficiently detailed exit plan, according to the report.

Failure to prepare for disaster scenarios compounded the difficulties. “Crisis preparation and planning” were lacking, the report stated, because the State Department did not want to send the wrong “signals” to its Afghan counterparts. “Anything that might suggest the United States had lost confidence in the Afghan government” was to be avoided lest it “contribute to its collapse,” it explained.

No one, it suggests, could have predicted that the Afghan military– equipped with billions of dollars in US weapons and training – would lay down their arms almost immediately upon confronting the Taliban. They were expected to hold Kabul for “weeks, if not months.”

The report slammed the decision to turn over Bagram Air Base to the Afghan government, pointing out that this left only Hamid Karzai International Airport available for evacuations. Opting not to halt the routine annual personnel rotation at the embassy was also highlighted as a failure, as the report noted that this increased confusion on the ground.

Thereport largely absolved the State Departmentfrom responsibility for what is widely considered the worst US foreign policy disaster since the US withdrawal from Vietnam, praising the department for its “great agility, determination, and dedication” in “unique,” even “unprecedented”circumstances.

While admitting the embassy evacuation was poorly planned, the report stated that “once it got underway, the plan for closing the embassy compound and evacuating… proceeded well, considering the speed at which it was implemented.” This, it complained, was “overshadowed by the scenes of chaos and panic that ensued as tens of thousands of Afghans sought desperately to flee the country.”

It ended with a recommendation to “strengthen the department’s overall crisis preparedness and response capabilities,” with a dedicated office not subject to political concerns, and calls for minimizing the diplomatic presence on the ground in war zones, explaining the Covid-19 pandemic showed how many staffers can effectively work from home.

A Ukrainian military commander has reportedly raised concerns that light combat tanks supplied to the former Soviet republic by France aren’t suitable for attacks against Russian defensive lines because their thin armor can easily be pierced by artillery shells and other weapons.

Touted earlier this year by Ukrainian DefenseMinister Aleksey Reznikov as a “sniper rifle on fast wheels,” the French AMX-10 RC armored fighting vehicle has proven “impractical” during Kiev’s current counteroffensive against Russian forces, Agence-France Presse (AFP)reported on Sunday. One four-man crew has died because of the tank’s thin armor, which can easily be pierced by Russian weaponry, a Ukrainian battalion commander told the media outlet.

“Unfortunately, there was one case when the crew died in the vehicle,” said the 34-year-old Ukrainian major, whom AFP identified only by his call sign, Spartanets. “There was artillery shelling, and a shell exploded near the vehicle. The fragments pierced the armor, and the ammunition set detonated.”

Reznikov was filmed in April riding in an AMX-10 RC, which was among the Western weaponry rushed to Kiev this spring for a long-awaited counteroffensive that finally began in June. “These fast, modern machines with powerful guns will aid us in liberating our territory,” Reznikov said in a Twitter post thanking French President Emmanuel Macron and Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu. “This is what liberty, equality and brotherhood look like.”

However, Spartanets said the French tanks have proven to be ineffective in front-line assaults. “The guns are good, the observation devices are good, but unfortunately, there is thin armor, and it is impractical to use them in the front line,” he said.

Just sending out the vehicles so they get destroyed, I consider it is impractical and unnecessary because it’s primarily a risk for the crew.”

The Ukrainian commander added that the AMX-10 RCs also has been plagued by breakdowns in their gear boxes, possibly because of their use on dirt roads. Kiev’s troops received one month of training in France, which wasn’t adequate to master operating the vehicle, he said.

The 20-ton AMX-10 RC travels on wheels, rather than tracks. It was developed in the 1970s for armed reconnaissance and attacks on tanks. The French military is in the process of replacing its fleet of AMX-10 RCs with the more modern EBRC Jaguar.

Thousands of Ukrainian troops have been killed in the counteroffensive, which has failed to breach Russia’s defensive lines.Dozens of Western-supplied armored vehicles have been destroyed, including German-made Leopard tanks and AMX-10 RCs, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. The New York Times reported last week that 17 of the 113 Bradley fighting vehicles supplied to Kiev by the US have been damaged or destroyed.

Kosovo’s prime minister,Albin Kurti, is preparing to launch an attack against the province’s Serb minorityto coincide with a renewed counteroffensive by Kiev’s forces in Ukraine, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic warned on Sunday.

“Kurti just wants to be the new Zelensky,”Vucic told reporters. “When the offensive of Ukraine starts, then you will see an additional offensive of Kurti in the Republic of Kosovo. I ask the people of the Republic of Kosovo to be careful, to just take shelter for a while.I am afraid that this terror will become even fiercer.”

Tensions have run high in Kosovo since April, when ethnic Albanian mayors were elected in four majority-Serb towns in the province’s north without Serb participation in the vote. Despite the mayors winning with a turnout of less than 4%, Kurti sent police and special forces to install them into office in May, backed by NATO forces. Riots broke out, with one brawl resulting in the injury of around 50 Serb demonstrators and 25 NATO personnel.

Despite rebukes and threats of sanctions from his US and EU backers, Kurti sent ethnic Albanian special forces into northern Kosovo to detain more than a dozen ethnic Serbs. Meanwhile, the Serbian authorities arrested several members of the Kosovo special forces on the Serbian side of the border with Kosovo.

Belgrade has since released the detained Albanians, yetPristina has not released the arrested Serbs. Vucic has demanded that Kurti release them, as well as almost 100 others in custody for the last two years.

“I am afraid of Albin Kurti’s completely irrational and anti-Serbian moves,” Vucic said on Sunday. “I will do my best to prevent this from happening. But not at the cost of a pogrom of the Serbian people.”

General Milan Mojsilovic, the head of the Serbian General Staff, called on NATO last month to prevent attacks on Kosovo’s Serb population by Kurti’s forces. Should the West fail to “protect the Serbs and their right to exist,” Mojsilovic warned that the Serbian military would “carry out its mission to the fullest.”

NATO took control of Kosovo in 1999, after waging a 78-day air war against Serbia on behalf of ethnic Albanian separatists. Though UN Security Council Resolution 1244 affirmed Serbia’s territorial integrity, the provisional government in Pristina declared independence in 2008. Belgrade’s refusal to recognize the secession has been supported by about half of the world’s countries, including Russia, China, and India.

Belarusian embassy vandalized in the Netherlands

The building was daubed in graffiti calling President Alexander Lukasheko a “terrorist”

Dutch police have arrested one suspect after the Belarusian embassy in The Hague was vandalized. The building’s windows were smashed and its facade sprayed with graffiti.

A 31-year-old man was arrested outside the embassy on Saturday night, the Omroep West news network reported on Sunday. It is unclear whether anyone else was involved in the vandalism.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry confirmed the incident to Sputnik Belarus.

Several windows were smashed and slogans were sprayed onto the building with black and red paint.One read “Luka – Terrorist,”referring to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, while another read “Long live Belarus.”

The incident was condemned by liberal politician Sjoerd Sjoerdsma. “No matter how rightly angry you are at the regime of Belarus, Russia or other countries, do not attack their embassies or residences,” he wrote on Twitter, adding that such attacks make “our diplomats in those countries less safe.”

Russian consulates and embassies have been targeted by vandalsin several Western countries since the start of Moscow’s military operation in Ukraine last February. Belarus’ diplomatic outposts, however, have not been targeted since 2021, when a group of anti-Lukashenko protesters defaced the country’s embassy in London and injured a member of its staff.

Lukashenko is a staunch ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Minsk has been placed under many of the same Western sanctions as Moscow since Lukashenko allowed Russian forces to launch an offensive on Kiev from Belarusian territory last year.

The Belarusian leader made international headlines in May when he agreed to host Russian nuclear missiles in Belarus, and again last week when he brokered a deal that ended Wagner Group leader Evgeny Prigozhin’s short-lived mutiny and march on Moscow.

Viktor Bout to enter politics

The businessman who spent some 12 years in US prison will run for a local legislature in Russia

Russian businessman Viktor Bout has been nominated as a candidate for the local legislature in the western Russian city of Ulyanovsk. He will run representing Russia’s right-wing Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR).

Bout was nominated by secret ballot during a regional party gathering on Sunday. His candidacy was announced after the vote by Dmitry Grachev, leader of the LDPR faction in the Ulyanovsk legislature.

The businessman spent more than 14 years behind bars, including 12 years in US prisons. Bout was taken into custody in 2008 during a sting operation in Thailand and was ultimately convicted by a US court on drug trafficking charges and sentenced to 25 years.

Bout has always maintained his innocence, insisting he had been merely caught up in geopolitics. He has told RT previously that he believes the case was an “experiment” by the US targeting him and his home country alike with sanctions.

Ultimately, the businessman ended up being swapped for US women’s basketball star Brittney Griner. The two-time Olympic gold medalist was arrested in Russia when banned cannabis vape oil cartridges were found in her luggage at a Moscow airport. The illicit substance got Griner nine years behind bars in August 2022, before a landmark prisoner exchange between Moscow and Washington in December.

Viktor Bout joins right-wing Russian political party

The recently-freed businessman has become a member of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR)

Russian businessman Viktor Bout has officially become a member of the right-wing Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), days after he was exchanged in a prisoner swap for US basketball player Brittney Griner. He was personally handed his membership card by the party’s leader during the LDPR’s 33rd anniversary on Monday.

“I am sure that Viktor Bout, a strong-willed and courageous person, will take a worthy place in [the party]. Welcome to our ranks,” said LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky. He previously stated the businessman would also be invited to a meeting of the Duma (lower house of parliament) Committee on International Affairs and the LDPR faction.

The far-right LDPR is currently the fourth-largest party in the Russian Duma. It was founded by the late firebrand politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who passed away earlier this year. The party focuses on conservatism and patriotism and opposes modern neoliberal capitalism as well as Soviet-style communism.

Bout has told journalists that his decision to join the party was driven by the fact that he sympathizes with the LDPR and believes it to be a powerful party that is close to the people. He has stated, however, that he does not intend to run in any elections for the time being.

Last week, Moscow and Washington conducted a high-level prisoner swap, exchanging Bout for jailed WNBA star Brittney Griner. The athlete had previously been sentenced to a penal colony in Russia on drug smuggling charges, while Bout had spent over 14 years behind bars, including 12 years in US prisons, as part of a 25-year sentence for arms-trafficking. The businessman has consistently denied the allegations against him. After arriving in Russia, he told RT that he had become caught up in the gears of geopolitics.

Both Griner and Bout were pardoned by their respective nations before the swap, which means they won't need to continue serving their terms at home.

Bombings in DC Target Three Businesses Overnight

Three businesses in Northeast Washington, D.C. were bombed early Sunday morning according to D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department. Within the space of fifteen minutes from about 4:30 a.m. to 4:45 a.m., a Truist Bank ATM and a Nike store were hit with explosive devices, while a Safeway was firebombed with a Molotov Cocktail. No injuries were reported as the establishments were closed. Police report each attack resulted in unspecified damages to the businesses.

A combined $20,000 reward is being offered by D.C. police and the ATF for information on the bombings.

Supreme Court Agrees To Hear Major Gun Rights Case This Fall

The US Supreme Court on Friday agreed to take on another major Second Amendment case, this time evaluating the constitutionality of a federal law barring gun possession by people subject to a domestic violence restraining order.

Following years of relentless refusals to hear gun rights cases to the point that Justice Clarence Thomas chided his peers for a "decade-long failure to protect the Second Amendment" the Supreme Court is now showing a revived appetite for questions about the right to armed self-defense.

Last year brought the enormously impactful decision in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen. In that ruling, the court declared that gun control laws are only constitutional if they are "consistent with this nation's historical tradition of firearm regulation."

The application of that new test has already led judges across the country to reject many gun control laws, though different outcomes have been observed as different courts evaluate similar gun laws. By taking this new case, the Supreme Court is demonstrating its interest in clarifying how the "historical tradition" test should be applied.

Unlike many recent high-profile legal challenges to gun control measures, the case that will be heard this fall United States v Rahimi isn't led by any gun-rights organizations. It also centers on a character, Zackey Rahimi, that few people across the political spectrum will sympathize with.

In February 2020, Rahimi agreed to a civil protective order issued by a Texas court after his ex-girlfriend alleged that he assaulted her. In addition to barring Rahimi from harassing or threatening the ex-girlfriend or their child, the order explicitly prohibited him from possessing firearms.

Joshua Ziminski is the man who shot his pistol in the air during the Kenosha riots, moments before Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed Joseph Rosenbaum. He also allegedly lit at least one fire on August 25, 2020 and obstructed a police investigation. Kenosha Police asked the Kenosha DA, Michael Graveley (D), to charge Ziminski with (1) Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, (2) Resisting/Obstructing an Officer, (3) Disorderly Conduct, (4) Bail-Jumping, and (5) Arson. Graveley’s office charged Ziminski with only one count of misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct. Only after community outrage, did the office add felony arson to the charges.

On August 26, 2022, while out on bail for the riot-related crimes, Ziminski and his wife burglarized and robbed a man at knifepoint, took him around the city to ATM’s with the intent to steal the man’s money. He was charged with 6 felonies and one misdemeanor. He faced many decades in prison.

Today, Kenosha County Prosecutor T. Clair Binger dismissed all of the criminal charges from August 25, 2020. He made a plea deal with Ziminski that included both of these felony files. Today in court, Ziminski plead guilty to one count of armed robbery and one count of armed burglary.

T. Clair Binger will recommend, as part of the deal, that Ziminski only spends five years behind bars, followed by five years of extended supervision.

So what does this all mean?

Essentially, the U.S. (and by extension the G7 at large) have or are about to hit the point where their fiscal situation is behind their control. To fight inflation would require them to collapse their economy in a repeat of 2008 because a decade of low interest rates created too many distortions that can’t be fixed…or they’re going to have to let inflation be in the double digits on a sustained basis.

Neither are good for long term political stability.

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has garnered support from both leftists and conservatives. But conservatives who admire RFK Jr. for speaking hard truths should also be aware of how he back-stabbed a parental rights group on TV in order to pander to an intolerant homosexual activist who wants LGBTQ propaganda in schools.

The group Kennedy rejected was Moms for Liberty, which just held a summit featuring 2024 Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Ron DeSantis. But not Kennedy.

Moms for Liberty’s mission statement reads, “Moms for Liberty is dedicated to fighting for the survival of America by unifying, educating and empowering parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government.” All they want to do is prevent the government-enforced indoctrination and sexualization of children in schools and make sure parents are made aware of such tremendously important things as whether their children are masquerading as the opposite sex at school. The group does not attack LGBTQ people — indeed, LGBTQ activists are the onesharassing Moms for Liberty.

At a town hall on Wednesday, News Nation allowed audience members to ask Kennedy questions. James Williams, the CEO of a social media consulting firm, asked the candidate why he agreed to and then drew back from an invitation to speak at a Moms for Liberty conference. While Moms for Liberty is specifically geared toward preventing parents from being pressured into letting their kids be indoctrinated, Williams claimed Moms for Liberty tries to tell people how to raise their children.

Williams then brought up the immensely corrupt and sexually licentious Sen. Ted Kennedy, RFK’s uncle (Chappaquiddick, anyone?) and Williams’s former boss. He said there was “no bigger champion or stalwart for LGBTQ equality” than “the late Ted Kennedy.” Practically crying, Williams demanded to know why he should vote for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. when the latter originally agreed to speak at a conference with a group “that wants to ban my marriage and tell…other parents how to treat their children” (again, a misunderstanding of Moms for Liberty’s goals).

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. rushed to reassure the intolerant activist that he “didn’t speak at that group.” RFK began, ”When somebody on my staff accepted that invitation, and I was unaware of it —”

Williams, too worked up to let Kennedy actually finish his sentence, jumped in and self-righteously announced that, as a former congressional staffer, he thinks blaming staff is “the wrong answer.”

Instead of respectfully but firmly telling Williams not to lecture and talk over him, RFK hastened to appease the overwrought leftist. Since he’s at the start of his campaign, he has no “long-term staff,” Kennedy explained. “When I found out that that was [Moms for Liberty’s] position,” Kennedy went on, not explaining what that position was and presumably referring back to James’s misrepresentation of the group, “I declined to go.”

So is RFK saying he doesn’t support parental rights? That he supports the sexualization of children in schools? That would seem to be what he affirmed here. That’s deeply concerning.

”There will be nobody in the Oval Office who is more supportive of LGBTQ rights than I am,” Kennedy went on, apparently forgetting (as his family has so often forgotten before) that he is a Catholic and therefore cannot, religiously speaking, support homosexual marriage. “I was with Teddie campaigning…in 1980. We — it was the first political, presidential campaign that ever courted the gay vote…it’s very important to me, it’s a civil right…my family has stood for, has fought for [these rights], and I will do the same”

Kennedy then delivered what amounted to an apology. “I made a mistake by accepting that invitation, and when I found out those positions,” (said again without any clarification), “I didn’t show up.” But apparently, that sickening statement wasn’t good enough for Williams, who demanded Kennedy “denounce” what Moms for Liberty “stand[s] for.” Kennedy at least refused to do that, but he added, “I don’t agree with anybody who says that we shouldn’t respect gay rights, or anybody else’s rights.” Except parental rights, evidently.

“Everybody should respect [gay rights], and, you know, I’m going to do everything I can to make sure that they’re — those are protected, and I always have,” . Our children are too important for any compromise with LGBTQ crazies.

California Teachers' Union Threatens Local School Board With Legal Action Over Flag Policy

California’s statewide teachers’ union sent a letter June 27 to the Chino Valley Unified School board criticizing its recent decision to allow only government flags on school property—and threatening to take legal action against the board if the policy is not reversed.

The board voted 4–1 June 15 to allow only the California and U.S. flags on school property.

The California Teachers Association—with more than 300,000 members—in partnership with local union Associated Chino Teachers alleges in the letter the decision violates teachers’ right to free speech under the First Amendment as well as a state employment law.

The union also said the district further violated state employment laws because it made a decision that affected the current status quo for teachers without giving the local union proper notice or a chance to negotiate terms.

The letter asked the board to reverse its policy by July 3 or face legal action

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division and Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Washington Field Division seek the public’s assistance in identifying suspects and a vehicle in reference to Destruction of Property offenses that occurred on Sunday, July 2, 2023, in the District.

- At approximately 4:30 am, the suspect detonated an explosive device on the sidewalk outside of the ATM at the Truist Bank located in the 2300 block of Washington Place, Northeast then fled the scene in a vehicle. The explosive device caused damage to the location. CCN: 23-106-401

- At approximately 4:36 am, the suspect detonated an explosive device on the sidewalk in front of the doors at the Nike Store located in the 700 block of H Street, Northeast, then fled the scene in a vehicle. The explosive device caused damage to the location. CCN: 23-106-429

- At approximately 4:45 am, the suspect threw a Molotov cocktail style object at the Safeway store located in the 300 block of 40th Street, Northeast then fled the scene in a vehicle. The Molotov cocktail caused damage to the location. CCN: 23-106-412

In each of these offenses, it appears the suspect targeted commercial establishments and it does not appear the suspect was targeting any members of the public. The establishments were closed at the time of the offenses. There were no reported injuries as a result of these offenses.

In partnership with MPD, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Washington Field Division, are offering an additional $10,000 bringing the total possible reward amount in this case up to $20,000.

German scientists have uncovered startling evidence that a substantial portion of the batches of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine deployed in the European Union may in fact have consisted of placebos – and that the German regulator knew this and did not subject them to quality-control testing.

The scientists, Dr. Gerald Dyker, Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Ruhr University Bochum, and Dr. Jörg Matysik, Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Leipzig, are part of a group of five German-speaking scientists who have been publicly raising questions about the quality and safety of the BioNTech vaccine (as it is known in Germany) for the last year and a half.

They recently appeared on the Punkt.Preradovic online programme of the German journalist Milena Preradovic to discuss batch variability. Their starting point was the recent Danish study showing enormous variation in the adverse events associated with different batches of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, or BNT162b2 per its scientific codename. The below figure from the Danish study illustrates this variation.

It shows that the batches used in Denmark, which are represented by the points in the graph, essentially break down into three groups.

The ‘green batches’ clustered around the green line have a moderate or moderately-high level of adverse events associated with them. In the discussion with Preradovic, Gerald Dyker takes the example of the green point furthest to the right.

As he explains, it represents the batch that was the used the most in Denmark, with somewhat over 800,000 doses having been administered. These 800,000 doses are associated with around 2,000 suspected adverse events, which gives a reporting rate of one suspected adverse event per approximately 400 doses. As Dyker puts it, “That’s not a small amount if we compare to what we know otherwise from influenza vaccines.” According to Dyker’s calculation, the green batches account for more than 60% of the Danish sample.

There are then the ‘blue batches’ clustered around the blue line, which are obviously associated with an extraordinarily high level of adverse events. As Dyker notes, no more than 80,000 doses of any of the blue batches were administered in Denmark – suggesting that these especially bad batches may perhaps have been quietly pulled from the market by public health authorities.

Nonetheless, these batches had as many as 8,000 suspected adverse events associated with them. Eight thousand out of 80,000 doses would give a reporting rate of one suspected adverse event for every 10 doses – and Dyker notes that some of the blue batches are indeed associated with a reporting rate of as high as one suspected adverse event for every six doses!

On Dyker’s calculation, the blue batches represent less than 5% of the total number of doses included in the Danish study. Nonetheless, they are associated with nearly 50% of the 579 deaths recorded in the sample.

Finally, we have the ‘yellow batches’ clustered around the yellow line, which, as can be seen above, barely gets off the x-axis.

On Dyker’s calculation, the yellow batches represent around 30% of the total.

Dyker notes that they include batches comprising some 200,000 administered doses which are associated with literally zero suspected adverse events.

As Dyker puts it, “malicious” observers might note that “this is how placebos would look”.

And malicious observers might be right.

For Dyker and Matysik compared the batch numbers contained in the Danish study with publicly available information on the batches approved for release, and they made the startling discovery that almost none of the harmless batches, unlike the very-bad and not-so-bad batches, appear to have been subject to any quality-control testing at all.

Unbeknownst to most observers, it is precisely the German regulatory agency, the Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI), which is, in principle, responsible for quality control of all the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine supply in the EU. (The institute is named after the German immunologist and Nobel Prize winner Paul Ehrlich, not, of course, the Stanford biology professor of the same name.)

This reflects the fact that the actual legal manufacturer of the vaccine, as well as the marketing authorisation holder in the EU, is the German company BioNTech, not its more well-known American partner Pfizer.

Dyker and Matysik found that the PEI had tested and approved for release all the very bad ‘blue’ batches, the overwhelming majority of the not-so-bad ‘green’ batches, but almost none of the harmless ‘yellow’ batches – as if the PEI knew in advance that these batches were unproblematic.

A small-scale protest, staged by families of fallen Ukrainian soldiers, including members of the notorious neo-Nazi Azov regiment, was held at the heart of Kiev on Friday. The protesters gathered in the Independence Square (the Maidan), urging Ukraine’s authorities to build more cemeteries.

The protesters carried portraits of their fallen relatives, as well as displayed several banners. One of them read “Government, where’s the Ukrainian Arlington?” while another said “Military cemetery cannot wait.”One large banner also stated “National military cemetery must emerge in Bykovnya in 2023,”referring to promises to create such a site in the aforementioned Kiev suburb, previously voiced by top Ukrainian officials.

“The construction of the national military cemetery, promised by the authorities this year, has not even started. The authorities must hear us and understand that the cemetery for the soldiers who died in this war cannot wait,” one of the event’s organizers, the head of civic group ‘Heart Out,’ Vera Litvinenko, said during the rally, as quoted by local media. Litvinenko’s son has been killed during the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which has been raging on since February 2022.

Lack of space to bury fallen soldiers has apparently been an issue for Ukraine for some time already. Multiple videos circulating online show rows of fresh graves emerging at the burial sites all across the country.

In some locations, authorities have to exhume old graves to make room for the newly deceased, the New York Times reported last month. For instance, a groundskeeper at one of the cemeteries told the newspaper that the management of the site had decided to exhume unmarked graves from World War I, as it ran out of space.

Both Ukraine and Russia have been tight-lipped on their frontline casualties, each claiming that their opponent has sustained significantly more than they report. Moscow has repeatedly accused the collective West of pushing Kiev into waging war “to the last Ukrainian,” warning that the continuous flow of military aid to the country is only bound to increase the cost of war for Ukrainians.

The Democrat lawmaker has claimed recent rulings reflect an authoritarianism and abuse of power

US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) has accused the Supreme Court of abusing its power with “authoritarian” rulings on such issues as abortion, LGBTQ protections, and race-based college admissions, arguing that lawmakers should consider impeaching justices for breaking laws.

She told CNN on Sunday that if Chief Justice John Roberts does not voluntarily testify in a congressional probe of alleged ethics violations by Supreme Court judges, lawmakers should consider issuing subpoenas to demand answers. The New York Democrat also called for imposing more stringent ethics guidelines to help maintain a proper balance of power among the nation’s three branches of government.

“There also must be impeachment on the table,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “We have a broad level of tools to deal with misconduct, overreach, and abuse of power.”

The congresswoman made her comments after a string of rulings last week in which the nation’s high court struck down President Joe Biden’s plan to wipe out $400 billion in student loan debt, blocked colleges from admitting students based on skin color, and upheld the free-speech rights of a Christian graphic artist who refused to offer her services for same-sex weddings. She also cited last year’s decision overturning Roe v Wade, a landmark 1973 ruling that had protected abortion as a constitutional right.

“The courts, if they were to proceed without any check on their power, without any balance on their power, then we will start to see an undemocratic and, frankly, dangerous authoritarian expansion of power in the Supreme Court, which is what we are seeing now,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

For instance, the court’s ruling on refusing services for same-sex weddings stripped away “the full personhood and dignity of LGBTQ people,” she said. “These are the types of rulings that signal a dangerous creep towards authoritarianism and centralization of power in the court.”

Ocasio-Cortez and other members of the far-left “Squad” group of Democrat representatives have called for expanding the court to 15 justices, arguing that “democracy is in crisis” because six of the nine current judges were appointed by Republican presidents. Biden, who would get to appoint six left-leaning justices in such a scenario, said on Thursday that expanding the court would harmfully politicize the judicial branch.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) quietly announced the release of additional records regarding the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

“In accordance with President Biden’s memorandum of June 30, 2023, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) posted all documents with newly released information subject to the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992,” the National Archives said in a press release.

“On December 15, 2022, President Biden directed agencies to jointly review remaining redactions in records, disclosing all information except when the strongest possible reasons counsel otherwise,” the press release continued.

“NARA worked in concert with agencies to complete this review and adhere to the President’s direction. Since April 15, 2023, 2,672 additional documents have been released in full or with fewer redactions.”

The Washington Examiner reports:

The archives released 2,672 documents for public consumption by the 2023 deadline, including 1965 testimonies from the Warren Commission, which was established by President Lyndon Johnson. The memorandum was signed by Biden in December.

The largest block, which included more than 1,000 documents, was released on Tuesday. But some documents still contain redacted information because of national security concerns.

The memorandum was part of the 1992 President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act, which required the government to release all files related to the Kennedy assassination by late 2017, with the exception of documents that could harm national security.

Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963. An investigation concluded that the assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, had acted alone. But historians have long questioned the investigation and hoped the documents could reveal more about Oswald’s actions, including who potentially helped.

Many Americans believe the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was responsible for JFK’s assassination, including his nephew, Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Kennedy made the bombshell accusation about a murder that’s sparked many conspiracy theories during an interview Sunday with John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM’s “Cats Roundtable.”

“There is overwhelming evidence that the CIA was involved in his murder. I think it’s beyond a reasonable doubt at this point,” Kennedy said of JFK’s assassination in a motorcade in Dallas, Texas.

Value of Wagner state contracts revealed by Russian media

The private military company was paid almost a trillion rubles ($11.4 billion) in government tenders, TV presenter Dmitry Kiselyov has claimed

Evgeny Prigozhin’s holding, which includes the Wagner Group, has enjoyed substantial benefits from working for the Russian government, securing contracts worth hundreds of billions of rubles, Dmitry Kiselyov, the head of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, said on Sunday.

Speaking on air during his weekly news program, Kiselyov said that Prigozhin’s Wagner private military company “has received a little more than 858 billion rubles ($9.8 billion) under the contracts it signed with the state.”

He added that under other contracts, Prigozhin’s holding Concord, which is also engaged in the catering and media business, had provided services to the tune of 845 billion rubles.

“This does not mean that they have earned so much, but it is still indicative of the scale of the business and the scale of ambitions,” Kiselyov noted.

He went on to point out that Prigozhin’s company had a strong media clout, adding that some people might have had the impression that the Wagner Group was the most capable frontline unit Russia had.

Stressing that he did not want to “detract from anybody’s merits,” Kiselyov recalled that regular Russian units had been faster in capturing the heavily defended city of Mariupol than Wagner troops were in seizing the Donbass stronghold of Artyomovsk (known as Bakhmut in Ukraine).

His remarks come after Russian President Vladimir Putin noted on Tuesday that the Wagner Group was completely dependent on state support. He claimed that for the last year the Russian authorities had allocated 86 billion rubles to pay wages and provide incentives for Wagner fighters.

At the same time, according to the Russian leader, Prigozhin’s Concord company received 80 billion rubles from the state in a year for supplying food products to the army.

Last month, Prigozhin accused the Russian Defense Ministry of staging a deadly missile strike on a Wagner camp, and vowed retaliation. The ministry denied the allegation. His troops proceeded to capture several military installations in the southern city of Rostov-on-Don, with some forces driving on towards Moscow.

However, Prigozhin stopped his advance as part of a deal mediated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. According to the agreement’s conditions, the Russian government consented to drop a criminal case against the PMC leader, and permit him to relocate to Belarus.

Rob Malley had his security clearance revoked earlier this year for allegedly mishandling classified documents

US President Joe Biden’s special envoy to Iran, Rob Malley, has been placed on unpaid leave while he is being investigated for alleged mishandling of classified documents, CNN reported on Thursday. Little is known about the investigation, butMalley’s sidelining could imperil efforts to revive the Iran nuclear deal.

His absence was first noted in May, when he missed a Senate briefing on Iran. At the time, the State Department explained that the envoy was on personal leave due to an illness in his family.

However, an unnamed US official told CNNthat Malley had his security clearance suspended earlier this year and was being investigated for possibly mishandling classified information. Another anonymous source said that Malley was placed on unpaid leave on Thursday afternoon.

He confirmed the reports later that day, telling multiple US media outlets that he was on leave, but had not been “provided any further information.”

Malley was one of the key architects of the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or Iran nuclear deal, which saw Tehran agree to limit its uranium enrichment in exchange for limited sanctions relief. Although the deal was scrapped by President Donald Trump in 2018, Malley was appointed special envoy to Iran by Biden in 2021, and has since led back-channel negotiations aimed at restoring the agreement, or coming to some alternate arrangement.

Israeli officials, who vehemently oppose a return to the 2015 deal, have long accused Malley of being a soft touch on Tehran. Among other complaints, they have pointed to his willingness to meet with figures like Amir Saeid Iravani, Iran’s ambassador to the UN who has repeatedly stated the Islamic Republic has a right to respond with force to Israeli drone attacks.

In the US, Republican lawmakers have also opposed a return to the deal, favoring stiffer sanctions and military threats over diplomacy with Tehran. On Friday, Republican House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul wrote to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, demanding further information on Malley’s suspension so his panel could conduct “oversight on Iran negotiations and policy.” In his letter, McCaul referred to Malley’s outreach to Tehran as “troubling.”

A Florida lawyer raped 2 minors a day at least 5 times while overseas, indictment says

A Tampa lawyer arrived in Cambodia with a photo or video of sex involving two kids, then raped two minors on at least five different days while there, according to a federal indictment.

Rugh Cline is back in Florida now, on house arrest after being released Monday on $100,000 bond. Cline, 40, pleaded not guilty to five counts of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in a foreign place and one count of possessing child sex abuse materials. He’s represented by attorneys Andrew Searle and Fritz Scheller.

Cline’s Florida Bar profile says the University of Miami School of Law graduate was admitted to the Bar in 2010, but is delinquent on Bar fees and can’t practice in Florida.

Court documents say Cline can’t have or use anything that can access the Internet, smart TVs included with smartphones and gaming consoles. All such electronic devices must be taken out of the home where he’s on 24-hour lockdown.

The indictment says after taking images of “sexually explicit conduct” involving prepubescent child and another one yet to reach the age of 12 with him to Cambodia in February 2019, Cline acted on desires. Three times in February, then on May 10 and May 17, 2019, the indictment says, he “engaged in illicit sexual conduct” with two minors each day.

The Justice Department says the four minors raped over the five encounters were pimped out to paying customer Cline.

Esper went on to say that China and Russia have “turned a once peaceful arena into a war fighting domain.” The Pentagon is taking these threats seriously and is no longer keeping the existence of this technology a secret.

Directed Energy Weapons (DEW) are something from science fiction that has become a true reality that every nation must reckon with. The broad term covers many kinds of weapons system but space-based DEWs will be laser style beams or pulses that are intended to cause damage on the receiving end. Varying levels of focus can change intensity and size of the impact area. Lasers and heat-effects can be used to damage all kinds of military hardware, sensitive structures, or even natural habitats. Western victims of intense fires claim unnatural origins and intense heat that’s never been witnessed before.

Satellite killers are known to have been in existence for several years. China famously demonstrated the capability in 2007 when it blew up one of its own satellites and created an enormous cloud of dangerous space debris. Satellite killers would realistically be DEWs as well. Laser attacks are more sensible with the ranges and precision necessary for orbital satellite targeting.

Photos of burnt neighborhoods where surrounding woods are left unscathed are suspicious. Intense heat melts the aluminum rims of automobiles that are burned in the fires. There are even photos of visual beams coming down from the sky. The reality of these weapons has been denied for a long time but evidence of their use has been circulating online and skeptics are now hearing official reports from the Pentagon about Chinese capabilities from orbit.

While the USA faces an unprecedented outbreak of fires along its Western coastline, reports of arson are circulating online. Those reports are being denied by the mainstream media. If a foreign actor wanted to induce conditions for wildfires with a warming-field a DEW weapon would be perfect. Intense lasers could easily start a small fire that will have undetectable origins and would be nearly impossible to prevent.

Plot

Abdel, an Algerian-French soldier, holds a press conference outside a police station after his 13-year-old brother Idir dies in hospital, the result of three apparent policemen beating and leaving him for dead. He appeals for calm, but a group of youth, led by Abdel’s brother Karim, disrupt the press conference by tossing a Molotov cocktail and raiding the police station. After stealing a weapons locker and a police van, the youth head back to their banlieue, Athena, where Abdel also grew up. They begin to barricade themselves - and the residents of Athena - inside the housing complex.

CRS riot police are sent to put down the uprising, while the youth respond by shooting fireworks and other improvised missiles at the police. In the middle of the chaos, a drug dealer named Moktar tries to move bags of contraband out of Athena. With the youth refusing to let him leave, Moktar and his gang take shelter in Athena’s shisha lounge, where they dig a hole to stash the contraband until the uprising has passed.

Abdel returns to Athena to attend a memorial service for Idir. He sees Karim and tries to speak to him, but the latter escapes where the memorial service is disrupted by the ongoing violence outside. Abdel then helps to organize an evacuation and shelter for Athena’s residents, including a former terrorist named Sebastien, whom Abdel shelters in Athena’s daycare center. While leading a group of residents past a group of riot police, an altercation begins, and Abdel and other residents of Athena are kettled and arrested.

Night falls and the riot police move in on the housing complex. Their units are forced to retreat, and in the ensuing chaos a young officer named Jerôme is separated from his unit and captured by the youth. The youth send a video of Jerôme to the police, threatening to kill him unless the three policemen who beat Idir are identified. Abdel is released from custody by the on-site police commander and sneaks in to Athena, where he confronts Karim about the violent uprising he has incited. He attempts to leave with Jerôme, but the youth pursue them, and the two are forced to take shelter in the shisha lounge.

Moktar greets Abdel, and it is revealed that the two are half-brothers. He calls policemen who are on his payroll, and they agree to come rescue Jerôme. Karim, intent on recapturing Jerôme, confronts Abdel through the security shutter covering the front of the shisha lounge, while others try to break in through a side door. The standoff is ended when the corrupt policemen arrive, but Karim attacks them and is shot dead.

Enraged by his brother’s death, Abdel savagely beats Moktar and captures Jerôme for himself. He calls the police commander and reiterates the rioters’ demands for the policemen’s names, then instructs Sebastien to aid the youth. The police commander calls once more, insisting that the policemen on the video were not actual police, and warns Abdel that the police tactical unit is being sent in. On a video call with the commander, Abdel points his gun at Jerôme and fires twice, but it is revealed that he intentionally missed. Overcome by emotion, Abdel makes no attempt to stop Jerôme from leaving the building. With the tactical team closing in, the building level is blown up by makeshift bombs created by Sebastien, killing Abdel.

In the final scene of the movie, a man in a van is shown recording the beating of Idir, which is later posted on social media. The “policemen” are revealed to be far-right instigators in disguise; they enter the van, drive into the woods, and burn the uniforms they had worn, revealing that the beating was a deliberate attempt to incite racial unrest.

Former Rehoboth man gets up to 25 years in prison for raping, videotaping infant

FALL RIVER — A former Rehoboth man has been sentenced to up to 25 years in prison for raping an infant and videotaping portions of the attack, the Bristol County district attorney’s office said Friday.

Cody Mercure, 25, pleaded guilty in Fall River Superior Court this past week to rape of a child aggravated by age difference, indecent assault and battery and possession of child pornography, according to Gregg Miliote, a spokesman for the district attorney’s office.

Mercure, who most recently lived in Woonsocket, was at a friend’s house in Taunton where he sexually assaulted and videotaped the 1-year-old child, who was known to him, in a bathroom on February 19, 2021, according to Miliote and court records.

The investigation began after a cyber tip to Rhode Island State Police. The Bristol County district attorney’s special victims unit then took the lead on the case and eventually made the arrest in April 2021, Miliote said.

Mercure, a 2016 graduate of Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School and former North Dighton resident, is also serving a concurrent 15- to 25-year prison sentence on federal charges for the creation of child sexual exploitation and dissemination of child pornography.

He has been held without bail since his arrest and was sentenced in April on the federal case, but has filed an appeal, according to court records.

His lawyer in the federal case said Mercure was sexually abused as a child, has mental health issues and had only minor brushes with the law as a juvenile, according to court records.

When Mercure is released from prison he will be on probation for 20 years.

“The conduct of the defendant is despicable and difficult to comprehend. He clearly has a demented mind and these sentences will keep him off of the street for a lengthy period of time, which is clearly necessary to protect children,” Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn II said in a statement.

Judge Raffi Yessayan rejected the defense’s recommendation for a 10-year sentence and imposed the 20- to 25-year term recommended by Assistant District Attorney Casey Smith based on the heinous nature of the crime, Miliote said.

The US spy chief has touted his agency’s efforts to undermine Russian leadership

America’s top intelligence official has openly cheered the alleged internal discord that he claims is rising in Moscow because of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, saying the CIA has been given anhistoric opportunity to recruit spies and undermine President Vladimir Putin’s government.

CIA director William Burns claimed on Saturday at aDitchley Foundation lecture in the UKthat “disaffection with the war will continue to gnaw away at the Russian leadership beneath the steady diet of state propaganda and practiced repression.”

Israel launches military operation in West Bank

The IDF claims to have targeted Palestinian “terrorists” in the Jenin refugee camp

The Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet security service launched a large-scale offensive early Monday morning, seeking to “thwart the threat of terrorism” across the West Bank. The joint operation allegedly targeted a militant headquarters in Jenin city’s refugee camp.

The IDF confirmed that it struck “terror infrastructure” in the city around 2am, claiming that the Jenin camp had been turned into a “terrorist stronghold.” The military said it raided a joint headquarters of multiple armed groups which “served as an observation post, a gathering place for armed terrorists before and after terror acts, a cache for munitions and bombs and a communications center.”

“We will not standby idle while terrorists continue to harm civilians using Jenin Camp as a hideout,” the Israeli military added in a brief press release.

“We are acting to dismantle this hornets nest,”an Israeli military spokesman, Lt. Col. Richard Hecht, said in a tweet, claiming that “operational sites used by terrorists” are “located next to schools, a medical center and civilian houses.”

According to the Palestinian health ministry, at least one citizen was killed and another seriously injured during the raid.

Israel occupied the West Bank during the 1967 Six-Day War and began to build new settlements in the territory. The UN Security Council has declared those actions to have “no legal validity” and to constitute “a flagrant violation under international law.” However, Israel disputes that position.

The remaining Palestinian portion of the West Bank is formally under the control of the President Mahmoud Abbas, but Israel regularly conducts military and police raids into the area under the pretext of fighting extremism and terrorism.

Last month, Israeli helicopters conducted a raid in Jenin, killing seven Palestinians, including two teens. In a separate incident, eight Israeli soldiers were injured by a roadside bomb amid clashes with armed Palestinian militants. Several days later, an Israeli drone struck a car carrying three Palestinians suspected of attacking an army checkpoint, in the first instance of targeted assassination in the West Bank since 2006, according to the Times of Israel.

Iran scolds France over violent unrest

Tehran has also issued a travel advisory, warning its citizens against “unnecessary trips” to France in light of the ongoing rioting

The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Sunday urged the French government to exercise caution and restraint in dealing with continuing widespread protests and rioting across the country. It has also urged Iranian nationals to avoid traveling to France, citing conditions there.

“Just like in the past, we advise the French government and police to heed the demands of the protesters while exercising restraint and avoiding violence,” ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani stated.

Kanaani also suggested that the unrest in France, as well as the situation in other unspecified European nations, stemmed from allegedly “discriminatory treatment” of migrants and the reluctance of the respective governments to address it. He also called upon Paris to respect the people’s basic rights and allow “peaceful protests” to go on unhindered.

The French government is expected to put an end to the violent treatment of its people by respecting the principles of human dignity, freedom of expression, and the right of citizens to peaceful protests.

Apart from urging French authorities to exercise caution in dealing with the chaos, Tehran has also urged its citizens to refrain from taking “unnecessary trips” to France as long as the security situation remains questionable.

The violence in France was triggered by the fatal police shooting of Nahel M. during a traffic stop in the Paris suburb of Nanterre earlier this week. The 17-year-old was fatally wounded at point-blank range, dying shortly afterward.

The incident triggered angry protests and outright rioting across the country, with property and cars being destroyed, and multiple public buildings being attacked by rowdy crowds. With hundreds of people arrested and over 45,000 law enforcement officers deployed onto the streets, the French government has thus far been unable to quell the unrest. Moreover, the violence has already spilled over to neighboring countries, including Belgium and Switzerland.

Republicans Demand Answers on DOD Clearing Former Official of Alleged Misconduct on Amazon JEDI Bid (Mattis Fucked)

Based on newly revealed evidence, Republicans are now questioning the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General’s (DOD OIG) April 2020 finding that a former senior defense official — Sally Donnelly — did not engage in ethical misconduct by allegedly trying to steer a massive government contract to Amazon.

Now in control of the House, Republicans are reviewing the DOD OIG’s conclusion, which leaves the former official in a position to continue pursuing lucrative contracts for Amazon with the DOD, as well as to sit on a key DOD business advisory board.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) recently previewed their efforts in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News. “There are a number of members that have been looking into this contract, how the contract was made — is there any illegal activity done within there — and I think more of that will come to light,” he said in March.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), who sits on the Oversight and Accountability Committee, is one of the members digging into the details of the investigation.

“The conflict of interest there is major,” she told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview in May. “This is a ‘what the f-ck’ moment.”

Background

The DOD OIG investigation concerned allegations that Donnelly and her allies as far back as 2017 improperly used their positions within the DOD to try to steer a multibillion-dollar information technology contract to Amazon.

Donnelly served as a top adviser to then-Defense Secretary James Mattis between 2017 and 2018. During that time, she arranged several meetings between Mattis and her former consulting firm clients, which included Amazon Web Services (AWS), according to emails obtained through FOIA litigation and previously reported by Breitbart News.

At the time, AWS was vying for a lucrative contract known as “Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure” (JEDI), which would provide DOD with a single cloud infrastructure and cloud services.

Donnelly’s activities, among others, raised suspicions of ethical misconduct, and after the contract appeared poised to be awarded to AWS, House Republicans requested for the DOD OIG look into the matter.

At the center of the DOD OIG’s investigation was whether or not Donnelly had followed federal ethics regulations.

One of those regulations requires government officials to recuse themselves for one year from “covered relationships,” or relationships with people or companies who were sources of income. For Donnelly, that would have included her former consulting clients AWS and C5, a British-based venture capital firm owned by CEO and founder Andre Pienaar.

In March 2017 Donnelly arranged a private dinner with Mattis at an exclusive London venue that included Pienaar and an AWS executive named Theresa Carlson.

During that dinner, Carlson pitched a meeting with then-Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos to Mattis. After the dinner, Donnelly approved a phone call between Mattis and Bezos. Donnelly would also later give AWS employees guidance on how to speak to Mattis about AWS cloud services during a visit by Mattis to Amazon’s headquarters in summer 2017. And she also organized a subsequent dinner between Mattis and Bezos.

These meetings occurred while AWS was seeking to land the lucrative DOD cloud contract.

At the time of the London dinner, Donnelly was late in filing her mandatory ethics disclosure form, known as OGE Form 278e. The form is critical to helping ethics officials identify covered relationships, and thus potential conflicts of interests. Although the form is due 30 days after entering government employment, she would not file this until May 17, 2017.

The DOD OIG ultimately concluded in a final investigative report on April 21, 2020, that Donnelly did not engage in any of the alleged wrongdoing. It said:

We did not substantiate any of the allegations regarding Ms. Donnelly. We did not find evidence that she failed to disclose payments from SBD Advisors on her OGE 278e, provided preferential treatment to Amazon, or improperly participated in the JEDI Cloud procurement because of her prior associations with Amazon, SBD Advisors, and C5 Capital.

It added: “We determined that Ms. Donnelly did not violate any ethical agreements and obligations regarding OGE financial disclosures, did not give preferential treatment to Amazon officials or restrict access to Secretary Mattis for other industry leaders…”

Grassley Presents New Information Not Considered by DOD OIG

However, last October, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said he discovered additional relevant information that the DOD OIG did not have during its investigation.

Grassley revealed in a letter dated October 24, 2022, that the DOD OIG admitted to him that it did not know who the purchaser of Donnelly’s firm was, arguing it was “not relevant” to its investigation. According to Grassley, Donnelly’s counsel had provided the DOD OIG with the Purchase and Sale Agreement for her firm, but had redacted the name of the purchaser.

Grassley said he later obtained an unredacted Purchase and Sale Agreement, which revealed that Pienaar, CEO of C5 Capital and Donnelly’s former client, and a C5 Capital investor named Vincent Mai, created an entity called “VMAP Investor LLC” that purchased Donnelly’s firm for $1,560,000. Pienaar signed as the “authorized person” for VMAP on the agreement.

Grassley discovered that VMAP made one payment of $390,000 to Donnelly before she entered the DOD in January 2017, but made three more payments of $390,000 to her while she served at the DOD, in March 2017, July 2017, and March 2018. Donnelly resigned from the DOD just days after she received her last payment, according to the DOD OIG report.

This meant that VMAP, a C5-linked entity set up by Pienaar and Mai, paid Donnelly during her time at the Pentagon, including when she set up the London dinner with Mattis and Pienaar.

In addition, as Grassley noted in his letter, AWS and Pienaar’s C5 Capital also had its own business relationship. Around 2017 and 2018, AWS supported two C5 Capital startup accelerator programs.

This meant that AWS was supporting Pienaar’s C5 Capital while Pienaar’s VMAP was paying Donnelly, as she set up calls and meetings between Mattis and AWS representatives.

There was another tie between C5 Capital and AWS — Pienaar, CEO of C5 Capital, at the time was engaged to Carlson, the AWS executive in charge of the company’s bid for the DOD cloud contract.

Given these ties, Grassley argued that Pienaar’s involvement in the purchase of Donnelly’s firm was indeed relevant to the DOD OIG’s investigation of alleged ethical misconduct and has pressed for the DOD OIG to reopen its investigation.

He wrote in his letter:

Knowledge of the entity that purchased her firm is relevant and central to the question of whether a conflict of interest existed and could have substantively affected the protocols required to wall off Sally Donnelly from potential and actual conflicts of interest while employed at DoD.

He added that the new information contradicts the DOD OIG’s finding that there was “no evidence that [Ms. Donnelly] had an ongoing or undisclosed financial relationship with C5 or Amazon and its affiliates” during her employment at the DOD.

“[N]ot only did the DoD OIG fail to acquire an unredacted version of the Purchase and Sale Agreement, it never even interviewed Andre Pienaar, Chief Executive and Founder of C5 Capital, during its review of DoD’s JEDI cloud procurement program,” Grassley wrote.

He added, “Taken together, while in government service, Ms. Donnelly received payments from VMAP Investor LLC—an entity directly linked to two senior C5 officials, a company connected to Amazon. These facts were not included in DoD or DoD OIG’s conflicts analysis.”

The DOD OIG report did mention in a footnote: “Ms. Donnelly and Mr. Pienaar co-owned SBD Advisors. Ms. Donnelly sold her share of ownership of SBD Advisors to Mr. Pienaar in January 2017, prior to entering on duty with the DoD.”

However, that footnote did not reflect that Pienaar co-created an entity named VMAP that purchased her firm, and that VMAP was linked to C5 Capital and paying Donnelly while C5 Capital was working with AWS on at least two projects.

Donnelly in her testimony to the DOD OIG also seemed to downplay Pienaar’s role in purchasing her firm, calling him the “organizer” of the sale of her firm. And an SBD Advisors spokesperson and former Obama administration official, Price Floyd, also told the Daily Caller in August 2018 that SBD Advisors was sold to a “group of investors” in January 2017.

Floyd also claimed to another outlet that none of the investors had any commercial relationships with AWS. That statement appears to be false, since at least one investor — Pienaar — had a commercial relationship with AWS.

Given the subsequently discovered information not considered — or perhaps dismissed — during the initial DOD OIG investigation, Grassley and other Republicans say the investigation should be reopened.

“It looks bad,” Mace said of Donnelly’s failure to disclose that an entity created in part by Pienaar paid her over a million dollars during her tenure at the Pentagon as she helped coordinate meals with Mattis. “There was a huge conflict of interest.”

“You need to disclose all of your finances before taking your appointment in federal government, especially if you have a position where you’re introducing new contracts,” she said in the interview with Breitbart News.

“This employee didn’t disclose any of this until they were leaving,” she added. “It’s pretty f-cked up.”

She also expressed concern that Donnelly continues to serve at the DOD on the Defense Business Board. “She [Donnelly] shouldn’t be let inside the building,” she said.

Did DOD OIG Whitewash Evidence of Misconduct?

According to the additional emails and documents obtained via FOIA litigation and reviewed by Breitbart News, the final DOD OIG report omitted information that demonstrated Donnelly’s involvement in the cloud initiative and called into question some of her statements to DOD OIG investigators.

For example, the DOD OIG report left out part of an April 27, 2017, email where Mattis’s Chief of Staff Kevin Sweeney asked Donnelly and Mattis’s Senior Military Advisor Navy Adm. Craig Faller if they wanted to “accept an office call with Jeff Bezos of Amazon and Blue Origin” after the London dinner.

Faller wrote to Donnelly, “[Chief of Staff] defers to you for SecDef consideration.” The DOD OIG left out that Donnelly okayed the call, writing, “I think he is the genius of our age, so why not?”

On the other hand, the DOD OIG report did include in its report an email that was favorable to Donnelly sent 10 days earlier.

On April 17, 2017, when an Amazon representative emailed Donnelly’s aide Tony DeMartino — who had worked with Donnelly at her firm on AWS matters — to arrange a post-dinner meeting for Mattis and Bezos, the DOD OIG report said that DeMartino consulted Donnelly and that Donnelly responded, “We should stand back and let the [Secretary of Defense’s] schedule process work — we should take no action to help. Not our place, not proper.”

The DOD OIG report concluded, “According to witnesses we interviewed, Ms. Donnelly was not Secretary Mattis’ scheduler, nor was she the decision-maker regarding his acceptance of meeting or dinner invitations … We found no evidence that Ms. Donnelly served as a ‘gatekeeper’ for Secretary Mattis or screened his meeting or dinner invitations to favor Amazon at the exclusion of its competitors, as alleged in the complaint we received.”

But since the record contained an email in which Donnelly expressed support for Mattis accepting a call with Bezos, it is not clear why the OIG only cited the other arguably exculpatory email in its report.

The DOD OIG report also cited an email from a DOD ethics official that said there were “no ethics objections” for Mattis’s London dinner with Pienaar and Carlson. (DOD OIG report, p. 197)

However, the DOD OIG report did not include context that the DOD ethics official’s assessment seemed limited to whether it was OK for Mattis to accept the “gift” of the meal itself and did not opine regarding any ethical implications beyond Mattis accepting the meal

In a separate instance, the DOD OIG omitted an entire section of an email from an ethics official regarding whether or not Mattis could meet with Bezos. The omitted portion said:

DoD officials can generally meet one-on-one with members of industry as long as they do not give preferential treatment to some members of industry. Several factors should be taken into account, including the topic(s) to be discussed, whether the official is willing to hold such meetings with all similar situated entities, any pending matters involving the contractor (procurements, claims, audits, etc.), and any other factors that might give rise to an appearance of impropriety.

In a third instance, the DOD OIG had asked Donnelly, “Do you know if there was a DoD cloud discussion during his meeting with Mr. Bezos on August 10, 2017?”

Donnelly had responded, “I do not know. I was not there. I don’t recall.”

However, according to the documents and emails obtained from the DOD OIG via FOIA and obtained by Breitbart News, Donnelly approved the meeting agenda which included mention of the cloud initiative. Additionally, there was evidence that Donnelly had coached AWS’s Jennifer Chronis on what to say to Mattis during the meeting to include using the words, “Also security of cloud.”

There was also an email in which a staffer reported back to Donnelly immediately after the August 2017 meeting saying that Mattis’ meeting at Amazon morphed into a sales pitch and that after the visit, Mattis was almost 99.9% there on the cloud, to which Donnelly had responded, “Excellent.”

Lawmakers are also looking into allegations the DOD withheld relevant documents in response to a 2019 FOIA request for any Donnelly emails that used “Bezos,” “Amazon,” “AWS,” or “Seattle.”

“No records,” the DOD had responded, before a subsequent FOIA lawsuit resulted in a trove of responsive documents.

Mace recently grilled the current DOD IG Robert Storch at a recent oversight hearing on the matter, asking for a list of investigators and employees who worked on the DOD OIG’s final report.

Storch first told Mace, “I am responsible for the work of my office, so no, we, I don’t believe it’s consistent with IG practice to provide the names of underlying individuals who worked [on the report].”

He also told Mace he had reviewed the report and that he was “satisfied with it.”

“I’m not satisfied with the report,” Mace retorted. “How can anyone conclude there was no conflict of interest or ethical?”

After she pressed him, he finally said, “I’d be happy to cooperate with Congress and provide whatever information I appropriately can.”

Later, Mace told Breitbart News about the DOD OIG’s omissions, “I don’t know if it’s ignorance or intentional…Were they trying to hide something, or are they just idiots?”

She said the DOD OIG should reopen its investigation, and that she would also look at whether or not Congress needs to take legislative action.

“No one is ever held to account for the corruption. We’ve got to start somewhere. The waste, fraud, and abuse is rampant,” she said. “I want to get answers. We need fighters in D.C. who are willing to uncover what’s going on, and I’m willing to take anyone on to do it.”

President Joe Biden’s aides were reportedly instructed to ignore Hunter Biden’s estranged daughter when numbering his grandchildren.

A recent in-depth report for the New York Times profiled Hunter Biden’s former lover, Lunden Roberts, and her quest to reach a child support settlement for their daughter, Navy Joan. The report confirmed the pair’s daughter will not be taking the Biden surname, which Hunter’s legal team requested, and also confirmed that Roberts will be taking some of Hunter’s paintings (which have gone for a price tag of $500,000) as part of the settlement.

As Breitbart News reported multiple times, the Biden White House has routinely ignored the president’s granddaughter by saying he has six grandchildren instead of seven. The New York Times confirmed that the president’s aides were specifically instructed to ignore his seventh grandchild:

His public image is centered around his devotion to his family — including to Hunter, his only surviving son. In strategy meetings in recent years, aides have been told that the Bidens have six, not seven, grandchildren, according to two people familiar with the discussions.

The White House did not respond to questions about the case, in keeping with how officials have answered questions about the Biden family before.

This revelation sparked considerable outrage online, with conservatives claiming that the president abandoned his granddaughter for political purposes. The New York Times even went as far as to acknowledge that the president’s treatment of Navy Joan could potentially cost him votes in 2024.

“The strength of his political persona, which emphasizes decency, family and duty, was enough to defeat Mr. Trump the first time around, and he would need to keep it intact if Mr. Trump is the Republican nominee in 2024,” it said.

Conservative critics online were more forthright.
