Beau Biden Foundation rakes in millions, spends fraction on kid programs

The Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children raked in $3.9 million in 2020, but spent only a fraction of that on its purported mission to help kids, The Post has learned.

The Delaware-based charity, which was started in honor of President Biden’s late son, got an infusion of $1.8 million from the Biden Foundation before that group shut down in 2020, according to the charities’ latest tax filings. The Biden Foundation was started by Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, to champion “progress and prosperity for American families.”

The Beau Biden charity also took in $225,000 from entities tied to a top political donor and bundler to President Biden.

Despite the $2 million-plus windfall, the organization put only $544,961 in 2020 toward its stated purpose of protecting children from abuse, according to tax filings.

California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) on Friday appointed an openly transgender judge to the bench.

“Governor Gavin Newsom today announced eight judicial appointments, including Andi Mudryk – the first openly transgender individual appointed to the bench in California – who will serve as a Judge on the Sacramento County Superior Court.” – the governor’s office announced on Friday.

“I’m humbled, honored and I’m thrilled,” Mudryk told The Times. “I’m grateful to Gov. Newsom for creating a vision of California for all.”

A disability rights advocate will become the second openly transgender person to serve as a California judge after being appointed Friday by Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Andi Mudryk, 58, chief deputy director at the Department of Rehabilitation, will serve on the Sacramento County Superior Court.

“Andi Mudryk is a great appointment and will be a wonderful judge,” Kolakowski tweeted. “I’m glad to finally have a trans colleague on the bench in California.”

Mudryk has the distinction of being the first transgender person appointed to the California bench.

Mudryk, who has brittle bone disease, previously served as chief counsel at the Department of Rehabilitation and held various positions at several disability legal rights organizations.

A Swarm Of 12,000 Earthquakes Rattles Azores Island, Sparks Speculation Of Volcanic Eruption

Residents on a Portuguese volcanic island in the Atlantic Ocean are evacuating as thousands of earthquake swarms have been detected and could indicate eruptive activity in the future.

In the Azores, some residents on Sao Jorge have packed up their bags and left the tiny island as fears of a potentially more significant disaster is lurking ahead following more than 12,000 tremors recorded since last Saturday, according to Daily Express.

Earthquake swarms "are likely caused by a magmatic intrusion at 10-15 km depth and could indicate renewed eruptive activity in the future," VolcanoDiscovery said. Around 200 of the quakes have registered a magnitude of up to 3.3.

On Wednesday, the Azores Seismovolcanic Information and Surveillance Center (CIVISA) increased the volcanic alert to Level 4, signifying a "real possibility" the volcano could erupt for the first time since 1808.

Seismologist Joao Fontiela told Lusa news agency that "Sao Jorge has few earthquakes" every year, but "we're now talking about thousands." He's setting up seismic monitoring stations around the island to monitor the developments.

CIVISA said there was "no evidence that a volcanic eruption was imminent." But the agency said an eruption shouldn't be overlooked. It pointed out the earthquake swarms are abnormal.

Readers may recall we reported hundreds of earthquake swarms right before a massive eruption on the volcanic island of La Palma in the Canary Islands of Spain last fall.

Biden Admin's Nuclear Deal: "This Isn't Obama's Iran Deal. It's Much, Much Worse."

The Biden administration continues to disregard major concerns regarding the Iran nuclear deal, and has reportedly "refused to commit to submit a new Iran deal to the Senate for ratification as a treaty, as per its constitutional obligation."

Forty-nine Republican Senators recently told the Biden Administration that they will not back the administration's nuclear deal with Iran. The Senators stated:

"By every indication, the Biden Administration appears to have given away the store. The administration appears to have agreed to lift sanctions that were not even placed on Iran for its nuclear activities in the first place, but instead because of its ongoing support for terrorism and its gross abuses of human rights. The nuclear limitations in this new deal appear to be significantly less restrictive than the 2015 nuclear deal, which was itself too weak, and will sharply undermine U.S. leverage to secure an actually 'longer and stronger' deal. What is more, the deal appears likely to deepen Iran's financial and security relationship with Moscow and Beijing, including through arms sales."

A Biden nuclear deal with the Iranian regime will have major benefits for the ruling mullahs. It will enrich the Iranian regime with billions of dollars in revenues as it lifts sanctions on Tehran's energy, banking and shipping sectors; reintegrate the Islamic Republic into the global financial system, enhance Tehran's legitimacy in the world, increase Iran's exports of oil, and ratchet up foreign investments in Iran – particularly in the energy industry.

Do not expect the extra revenues to trickle down to the ordinary people of Iran or raise their standard of living. As Ashkan, a construction worker and father of three who lives in the capital Tehran with his family, told me, "people had a lot of hope in 2015 when the nuclear deal was reached," under the so-called moderate administration of then President Hassan Rouhani.

"The officials made us believe that the nuclear deal will be good for the people as well. But after the nuclear deal, inflation kept going up, wages stayed the same, the value of the currency kept going down, price of goods continued to go up, unemployment remained high, and people were still financially struggling during the period of the nuclear deal until the US government of Trump left the deal."

With the increased flow of funds to the ruling mullahs, do expect an increase across Iran in human rights violations and domestic crackdowns on those who oppose the regime's policies, as hardliners tend to be the ones gaining more power as a result of any lifting of sanctions. Iran's hardliners already control three branches of the government: the executive, the legislative, and the judiciary.

The Iranian regime will most likely first utilize the extra revenue by increasing its military budget. This scenario is what occurred in 2015 after the Obama's nuclear deal was struck. Iran immediately raised its military budget by $1.5 billion from $15.6 billion to $17.1 billion. On April 10, 2015, The Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) quoted Mohammad Reza Pour Ebrahimi, a member of the parliament's Economic Affairs Committee, stating:

"In addition to the approved figures, $1.5 billion has been allocated to prop up defense of the country and this amount has been approved by this committee."

After Avoiding Jail for Child Sex Abuse Conviction, Cop Arrested AGAIN for Producing Child Porn

Roswell, NM — In August of 2020, former New Mexico State Police officer, Ricky Romero, was granted a plea deal after admitting to soliciting and receiving sexually explicit images from an underage girl on social media. Instead of jail time for this child predator, Romero’s badge granted him blue privilege and he was given probation.

Because he pleaded guilty before the trial, Romero was given an 18-month probation on each of the two counts he faced: child solicitation by electronic device, child 13-18; and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to court documents.

As part of the agreement, five other charges: four counts of causing or permitting a child to engage in sexual exploitation, child 13-18; and one count of possession of a visual medium of sexual exploitation, child 13-18, were dismissed or reduced.

Despite the details of the case which were documented using text messages from Facebook messenger, involving a young child, Romero didn’t have to register as a sex offender and was simply allowed to go free on the premise that he wouldn’t do it again.

Like so many other child predators, Romero had multiple victims, another of whom was recently discovered while the officer was out on probation for his other crimes against children. As a result, Romero was once again arrested for preying on children.

According to the United States Attorney’s office for the District of New Mexico, Romero appeared in federal court on March 23 where he is charged with coercion and enticement of a minor and receiving child pornography — again.

According to the indictment and other court records, from March 4 to March 6, 2019, in Chaves County, New Mexico, Romero allegedly coerced a minor to produce child pornography and received videos and images of child pornography on his iPhone. Romero was a New Mexico State Police officer at the time the offenses were committed.

The DoJ states that if convicted, Romero faces a minimum of 10 years and up to life in prison.

If he is indeed guilty of these crimes, hopefully he is not given another sweetheart deal like he was in 2020. Unfortunately, however, if history is any indicator, it is not only possible but likely.

As we reported earlier this month, Brian O. Beck, 47, formerly of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee was suspended without pay in June 2018 after allegations came to light that he repeatedly raped a 14-year-old child beginning in 2016 and lasting for over 20 months. He was subsequently charged with two counts of rape by force or coercion and two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure.

Beck would have been facing up to 90 years in prison had he been convicted of the four counts upon which he was initially indicted by the grand jury. Instead, he was allowed to plea down to a single misdemeanor assault charge and was sentenced to four years in prison, all of which were suspended — and he will not have to register as a sex offender.

And these cases are a dime a dozen.

Canadian Freedom Convoy Organisers Hit with Additional Charges by Courts

Several of the organisers of the Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa, Canada have been handed additional charges during separate court appearances this week.

Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, who were both arrested prior to the police operation that dismantled the Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa last month, have been jointly charged with counselling to obstruct police, counselling mischief, counselling intimidation, intimidation, and mischief.

Previously, Lich, who was initially denied bail, was charged with mischief and counselling to commit mischief, while Barber had been charged with several offences relating to mischief and obstructing police, the Toronto Sun reports.

Diane Magas, a lawyer who represents Lich, has previously filed an appeal over Lich’s bail conditions, which include restrictions on social media use, something the Canadian Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms has claimed violates her rights to free expression.

Lich had initially been denied bail by Justice Julie Bourgeois, who it was later revealed had run for election for the Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party in 2011.

While Lich’s lawyer argued the denial of bail may have been tainted by Bourgeois’ political past, Superior Court Justice John M. Johnston asserted that the argument did not have merit. He did grant bail after finding other errors in the judgement of Bourgeois, however.

The new charges against the organisers are just some of nearly 400 charges against 191 Freedom Convoy protesters that were laid in late February following the crackdown and dispersal of protestors from Ottawa after three weeks of protests against Wuhan virus restrictions, vaccine mandates, and vaccine passports.

The protests were ended after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act for the first time in Canadian history and forced tow truck operators to remove trucks from the area around the Canadian parliament.

Many had refused such requests prior to this order.

Earlier this week, during a visit to the European Parliament in Brussels, Prime Minister Trudeau was slammed by several Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), including the Alternative for Germany (AfD) MEP Christine Anderson, who confronted Trudeau directly in the chamber.

“[I]t would have been more appropriate for Mr Trudeau — Prime Minister of Canada — to address this house according to article 144. An article which was specifically designed to debate violations of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law, which is clearly the case with Mr Trudeau,” Anderson said.

“Then again, a Prime Minister who openly admires the Chinese ‘basic dictatorship’, who tramples on fundamental rights by persecuting and criminalising his own citizens as terrorists, just because they dared to stand up to his perverted concept of democracy, should not be allowed to speak in this house at all,” she added.

Where I want to start, especially because the corporate media and social media have done so much to cover your story up, is to start at the beginning when the laptop was first brought into your store. Until all this happened, you did have a storefront, correct?

JOHN PAUL MAC ISAAC: Yes, in 2010 I opened the Mac Shop in the Trolley Square area of Wilmington. A little 20-foot retail space where customers could park right in front of the shop instead of having to walk through a shopping mall. I’d run out and pick up [the item to be repaired] for them, which was a lot more convenient than taking it to an Apple Store.

BNN: And you’ve since lost that store due to the fallout over the Hunter Biden laptop.

JM: Yes.

BNN: Now were you working that day when the laptop came in?

JM: It was April 12, 2019, and about ten minutes before closing. I remember I was climbing the walls to get out of the shop because it was Friday night and I had other places I wanted to be. I remember the door opening. There was a little chime on the door. I look up, and this is something you remember when you’re eager to get out of the shop on a Friday night, when there’s only a few minutes to go, and there’s a guy standing there holding three MacBook Pros. You realize, ‘This is the end of my evening.’

BNN: Always on a Friday night, right?

JM: (laughs) This customer with the three MacBooks was pretty intoxicated. He approached the counter and the three laptops basically slid out of his hands onto the counter. This kind of gave me a clue as to the individual’s care level when it came to their electronic devices.

BNN: What made you think Hunter was drunk?

JM: The smell preceded him. He had balance problems. Speech problems.

BNN: Got it.

JM: So I inspected [the laptops] and explained they were liquid-damaged. He said he just wanted to get the data off of them. At this point, I have to get the customer into the system, and even if it’s a returning customer, if they are more than a few feet away, I have to ask their name [ed. note: Mr. Mac Isaac is legally blind]. He said his name was ‘Hunter.’ I asked, ‘What’s your last name,’ and there was a long pause, almost like he was surprised I didn’t instantly recognize him. So he responded, almost sarcastically, ‘Biden.’ Then I noticed the Beau Biden sticker on one of the laptops. That was when I made the connection to who he was and I assumed he was looking to get memories of his dead brother off the laptop. So I felt sorry for the guy and helped him recover the data of one of the laptops without charging him. I just gave him a keyboard to use because keys were missing on that laptop’s keyboard. He recovered that one himself in the shop.

Normally, I charge $200 for data recovery, but I charged him $85 to recover the remaining laptop. This guy had just lost his brother.

I then wrote up documentation saying we’re going to attempt data recovery. I worked with him for about 20 minutes. He left with two machines. I was left with one machine and signed paperwork allowing me to access the computer and recover data from it.

BNN: You said there were three laptops.

JM: One was a complete write-off. The liquid damage was too great. He took that one home along with the one he recovered in my shop with the keyboard. The one he left me with had power issues that made it a touch-and-go process for about 24 hours as I migrated the data.

BNN: So you complete the data recovery and what was the procedure from there?

Marines alter uniform regulations, including maternity wear, manicure options and hairstyle

The U.S. Marine Corps uniform regulations aren’t altered very often. But a slew of changes are coming or effective immediately, including altered maternity clothes for pregnant Marines.

The uniform changes, which were made official in an all-Marine message on Wednesday, also include increased hair length, edging up one’s hairline, and additional manicure options for female Marines.

Maternity uniforms have been updated to include more options for pregnant Marines, including adjustable side tabs on the maternity tunic and short and long-sleeve shirts. Non-tab blouses are still authorized for issue and wear. The Corps says available options will vary by MCX and MCCS location until all non-tabbed items are sold out. The Corps is also developing additional items for optional purchase or inclusion in the maternity uniform supplemental allowance.

The Marine Corps hopes the changes help “positively impact diversity, equity and inclusion,” 1st Lt. Phillip Parker, a spokesman for Marine Corps Training and Education Command, told the Marine Corps Times.

The changes don’t involve any of the Marines’ classic uniforms such as their dress blues.

“Changes (from) the Uniform Board occur as needed,” the program manager of the Marine Corps Uniform Board said via email. “Historically the Uniform Board meets once or twice a year.”

A maternity undershirt has been certified and is available for purchase. Each Marine will receive supplemental cash allowance for the purchase of two undershirts. The maternity undershirt is authorized for wear the same way as the standard olive drab undershirt.

The nursing undershirt has also been certified and available for optional purchase. Only certified nursing shirts will be worn with the uniform. The shirt is an undergarment and cannot be worn as an outer garment, according to the Corps.

Male Marines are now allowed to “edge up” their hairline, if desired. This includes evening up one’s natural hairline. For example, a “widow’s peak” can now be removed, or excessive forehead hair can be altered to create a neat line as “as long it provides a neat, professional and natural appearance,” according to the Marine Corps release.

Joshua Ziminski (37) has made several court appearances in the last two years for his alleged role in the Kenosha Riots of 2020. This, however was his first in orange jail garb. That is because Kenosha’s longest-serving Judge, Bruce Schroeder raised Ziminski’s bail to $14,000 on January 31st, 2022, the day he was supposed to go to trial. He has been unable to post the large bond and will likely be incarcerated until his trial on March 28. Ziminski will be standing trial for Arson, Disorderly Conduct-Use of a dangerous weapon, and obstruction. He faces a maximum of 3.5 years in prison. Ziminski is accused of starting at least one fire, that of a construction trailer. He is also the man caught on camera infamously firing the first shot seconds before Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed Joseph Rosenbaum legally.

Ziminski appears to have recently shaved his head, further reveling a large tattoo reading “SIN” bold on the back of his head. He also has three teardrop tattoos and an upside-down crucifix tattooed on his forehead.

Joshua’s wife, Kelly Ziminski, (nee Dunn) was just released from Taycheedah Correctional Institution on February 22, 2022. She was serving prison time for a probation revocation for multiple misdemeanors including three counts of retail theft, 4 counts of neglecting a child, and one count of bail jumping. She was also sentenced by Judge Schroeder to 7 months of prison for her role in assisting her husband with the rioting on August 25, 2020. She has been subpoenaed to testify against her husband Joshua in his arson trial.

Today’s hearing was brief and both sides, that is the prosecution and Ziminski’s defense attorney Michael Barth said they were ready to proceed. Pinch-hitting for T. Clair Binger today was ADA James Kraus. The Judge and Attorney Barth estimated that the trial will last two days. Jury selection will be on Monday, March 28, and the trial will begin on March 29.

University Caught Storing Bags of Aborted Babies and Aborted Baby Parts

Pro-life advocates made a disturbing discovery earlier this month in a lab at the University of Washington Department of Pediatrics: a freezer full of rows and rows of aborted babies’ body parts.

Pro-life advocates with Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU), Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, Pro-Life San Francisco and Rehumanize International said they gained access to the freezer March 9 after confronting university leaders about its unethical practices as the largest and most active fetal organ bank in the nation.

“The American people must be made aware of the mass dehumanization of these unborn children who are violently killed and thrown into a freezer, whose body parts are then portioned out to researchers in pursuit of federal funding,” said Terrisa Bukovinac, founder and executive director of PAAU.

This week, the pro-life groups published a photo of the freezer, which they said contained row after row of bags and containers of aborted babies’ body parts, labeled and prepared to be shipped to scientific researchers across the country.

Some of the body parts may have come from healthy, late-term aborted babies who were viable and capable of feeling pain. Others even may have been born alive.

According to the pro-life organizations:

[National Institutes of Health]-funded fetal tissue research studies supplied by UW are known to target the brains of human fetuses — many pain-capable and past the point of viability during the abortion procedure.

Procuring “pristine” fetal organs for research requires withholding feticides to preserve the stem cells. This means these often late-term fetuses are torn apart and dismembered alive or, ideally for experimentation, they are delivered through an induction process which, at these late gestational ages, produces born alive infants over half of the time, according to a study published in the National Library of Medicine.

The University of Washington also employs several staff from Seattle abortion facilities that supply the university with aborted baby body parts – a “clear conflict of interest,” Bukovinac said.

The university’s disturbing practices first came to light in 2016 through the Center for Medical Progress’s shocking undercover videos of Planned Parenthood and other abortion groups. But later that year, the university, Planned Parenthood and other groups sued to stop the disclosure of public records about these practices. So, many questions remain unanswered.

Dr. David Prentice, vice president of research at Charlotte Lozier Institute and an international expert on ethical stem cell research, said the freezer photo is a shocking reminder of the barbaric abortion practices occurring regularly in the U.S.

“Harvesting baby body parts and parceling them out like parts from an old car is barbaric,” Prentice said. “Storing these organs and body parts in paper bags might be more convenient for their ‘next day’ and ‘same day’ delivery options but only emphasizes how their entire trafficking operation is out of touch with the intrinsic value and dignity of each human being.”

Prentice and other scientists say research with aborted babies’ organs has not been effective, and ethical alternatives exist.

“It is my hope that this photograph reminds us all that there are real victims being lethally oppressed by UW and traded like property,” Bukovinac said. “Fetal trafficking is abhorrent and it must end.”

Sean Penn Says He Will Destroy His Oscars if They Don’t Let Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Speak

Actor Sean Penn says that he will publicly smelt his Oscar awards if the the Academy does not let Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy speak.

In an interview with CNN, Penn demanded that the Academy has an “obligation” to give the Ukrainian president a platform during their show.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award show airs on Sunday.

“There is nothing greater that the Academy Awards could do than to give (Zelenskyy) an opportunity to talk to all of us. It is my understanding that a decision has been made not to do it. That is not me commenting on whether or not President Zelenskyy had wanted to,” Penn said.

Penn has won Oscars for his roles in Milk and Mystic River.

In February, Penn was in Ukraine filming a documentary for Vice.

“If the (Academy has) elected not to pursue the leadership in Ukraine, who are taking bullets and bombs for us, along with the Ukrainian children that they are trying to protect, then I think every single one of those people and every bit of that decision will have been the most obscene moment in all of Hollywood history,” Penn continued.

Penn further urged people to boycott the show if Zelenskyy is not invited to speak.

“If it comes back to it, I will smelt mine in public. I pray that’s not what’s happened. I pray there have not been arrogant people, who consider themselves representatives of the greater good in my industry, that have (decided against checking) with leadership in Ukraine. So I’m just going to hope that that’s not what’s happened. I hope (every attendee) walks out if it is,” Penn said.

As of Sunday afternoon, no decision has been publicized about whether or not Zelenskyy will be appearing.

“Academy officials still are debating on whether Zelenskyy will indeed appear briefly on the show, sources said. It’s also not clear if he would appear live or in a taped message. Sources said the debate centers on whether the Oscars should remain apolitical as the Russian invasion of Ukraine rages on,” the New York Post reports.

The Oscars have been in a ratings free fall since the shows became massively political during the Trump administration.

“ABC, which is broadcasting the show, is said to be in favor of Zelenskyy, a former actor, making a statement. ABC did not return requests for comment,” the Post report continued.

Actress Mila Kunis, who was born in Ukraine, and her husband Ashton Kutcher, are expected to make a statement during the show. They have raised $35 million for Ukrainian refugees.

They have been thanked for their efforts by Zelenskyy himself.
