You can literally go back to however far you want, and the board is just chock full of same defeatist pessimism WAY before the site was shut down. Hell, remember when 4channers last showed enough spine to look into alternative sites? I did my damn best to try recommending this to them, but the old denizens of the board were just kept on whining about their dying site that they literally drove out their best chance to actually revive it!
This site was never mean to me, or anyone else as far as I know. There were multiple active threads producing content the day the site was deleted. We did not need /mlp/ immigrants bringing their fetish generals and you were not in the right for inviting them. If an /mlp/ immigrant showed up and just wanted to post normally nobody would have cared to stop him, and this very well may have happened multiple times. But whenever they came here and just had to start a thread announcing that they wanted to turn the board into /mlp/ they were rightfully shouted out. /pone/ was better off before the shutdown as a slow board than it would have been as a shit board like what happened to /pol/ after too many redditors and cuckchanners moved there. /pone/ is better off now as a dead board than as an unrecognizable zombie board the way every "living" board on 8kunt is. It's sad that the good times here are over, but the alternative of the good times being retroactively ruined would be worse. It's not a bad idea to move on anyway since the show is over.
