Hey everyone, new BO here. I hope any of the adjustments I've made haven't been too jarring, and I'm sure I've screwed something up already, so let me know.
I saw that /pone/ was on the claim list, and I figured that just because the show's over doesn't mean this board has to end either. So I'm gonna try my best to keep things going. I've already taken care of a few reports, but I know it'll take more than that to support the community.
So I'm gonna make this my first Meta Thread. Whatever you want to discuss and/or ask, I'll do my best to respond to it. A few things I'd like to get out of the way first:
To all the old volunteers, let me know if you want your volunteer spot back. If shit happened, I thought it would be better to play it safe and make sure that some loose cannon can't hijack the board. I'm sure it doesn't work that way, but whatever.
The rules page and spoiler script page are fucked, even when I replace 8ch.net with 8kun.top. If anyone's willing to give ideas, I'd appreciate it. In the meantime, I'll just make a rules thread and maybe toss the script in the second post, since the page contents are still available in the control panel.
My favorite pony is Trixie.
I think that'll suffice for now, so I'll do my best to make things work. I hope I do you all proud. Expect the rules thread to be up and stickied soon.

I applied as BO via the claims page. I emailed the address, and got the code. Easy as that.
I MIGHT remove the bump rule, honestly, or just not enforce it too strictly. Then again, I want to refill my pony folder. Hmm.
I guess there's no saving the archive, though, so consider it removed.

It's been a looooooooong time since I was on ye olde 8/pone/, but I remember it's raging, brutally autistic hatred for any and all things Equestria Girls. Any attempt at discussing -that- series was met with a concentrated derailment effort, an all-out assault of >no hooves shitposting. And the jannies would do fuck-all about it, as they were apparently just as low-test as the rest of the board. Unfortunately, EQG could not be posted anywhere else, as it was still pony, and fell under the general rule. While 8kun does not appear to have any pone-specific rules, we all know what's going to happen if someone went and posted something like pic related over in /co/…
Any chance of this faggotry coming to an end and letting us post about our two-legged waifus, or will EQG continue to be a taboo subject under (you)r rule?
