This is from a deliberate misinterpretation of the verse from Genesis where God promises ”On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates”.
However, that promise, unlike the Israel detractors, took into account that Abraham had TWO sons, whose descendants do indeed rule over the land from the Nile to the Euphrates, so the prophecy is fulfilled. The verse says nothing about the distribution of the land between the descendants of the two brothers.

Even if it wasn't misinterpreted it's not God saying it. It's from a collection of old books. But even if there was no scripture someone would still be saying God told them so. It's just an excuse to kill amalek which are seen as stupid animals not humans.
