Step 1: you'll need a private setup to become a digital "ghost". This includes running Hardened Gentoo over Sway (Wayland) on an Olinuxino board with wiped ARM firmware, w/ i/o plug-ins for the Modos paper display, Keyboardio keyboard and/or Ploopy mouse kit (or FPGA mouse if your keyboard doesn't already have a scroller). Then take another Olinuxino board w/ wiped firmware w/ ath9k PCIe w/ plug-ins and serial ports, which you hook-up to your default ISP router to run IP over DHCP ethernet connection for all connections on your SBC workstation. Then install nftables, firejail, kvm/qemu, auditd, fail2ban, pyshark, your web browser being either GNU Ice Cat w/ LibreJS or ELinks (a terminal browser used for scouring geocities and wiby.me type sites) or GNUNet and a custom SOCKS5 proxy using X25519, Poly1305, ChaCha20 and Kyber for post-quantum protection (optionally you can use gnunet-vpn), and practice OPSEC w/ passwords, including a USB flash drive (open hardware only; use an Ovrdrive USB flash drive) w/ KeePassXC password (or BitWarden or masterpassword.app), using xkpasswd.net for generating passwords for self-hosted emails (using VPS; please do not use your own homeserver for this).

Add an additional MilkV SBC and flash Zeek (Bro) or Suricata on it for network traffic analysis that's automated and shuts out any suspicious traffic. Then optionally feed logs into an LLM for analysis. And as a coup de grace, give it USBguard to prevent evil maid attacks w/ panic mode that encrypts all files.

Use Jami or GNUNet CADET for VoIP calls.

Step 2: now all you've gotta do is punch in your questions to an LLM (like llama.cpp) and install files through Linux terminal command line interface. From there, you can install Wifi password and firewall cracking tools or write them!

Step 3: ???

Step 4: PROFIT!

There's an autistic illuminati in the hackersphere that doesn't want to mainstream this knowledge, but since I believe that the truth is a fundamental human right, there you go.

ah neat

>GNUnet (picrels)

this is all some cool shit.

>using a terminal browser

its ok for reading shit, but like in w3m, the interface is really non-existent lmao

I just did a laptop with a non-systemd distro encrypted drive. Just to see how it goes. I'm not really sure if the disk encryption is overkill though.

Also, while setting up Gentoo, refuse any proprietary packages and patch them up. Also, refuse any and all proprietary packages.

Gentoo is also one of the systemd-free distros that can run fine on RISC-V. GNU Guix System can't even do that! Parabola, Hyperbola and Trisquel can't even run on RISC-V!

Gentoo or Linux From Scratch is about the only way to circumvent California's AB 1043. Colorado is presenting something similar, and so is New York. Only Mississippi and Florida have struck down biometric age verification laws at the OS level. Everywhere else (including South Carolina, my state) are introducing new legislature and it's being reviewed.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_media_age_verification_laws_in_the_United_States

Michigan is even considering banning VPNs. In that event, you're gonna have to switch to custom proxies instead where you have full-tunnel control but only if you absolutely know what you're doing will this not go horribly wrong.

I like how gnunet is layered above IPv6 and is carrier agnostic. You can run GNUNet over 2G wireless just using OsmocomBB on an old Motorola C123 or homemade cell phone using TI Calypso chipsets, and an analog graphical display. Just give it a SysmouSIM and you're done. Or you can add a overlay if you don't trust GNUNet enough, because it's that customizable! You can throw that on top of osmocombb + ti calypso + sysmousim + pysim + MAC randomization via ath9k PCIe that's snapped to a MilkV that's plugged into a default ISP router via serial port and then plug this makeshift open 802.11 IP over DHCP router to run ethernet for all connections to your MilkV workstation consisting of a MilkV board w/ i/o plug-ins for a Modos paper display and Keyboardio keyboard and/or Ploopy mouse kit (or homemade FPGA mouse using soldering equipment, assuming your keyboard model doesn't come with a scroller). Along with your custom SOCKS5 proxy you can hide from the network, possibly sticking to GNUNet and IRC over 2G instead of using Wifi/3G+.

Also, if you're running it over hybrid SDR w/ FPGA development boards (ECP5) and possibly Rocket Chip from UC Berkeley, VexRiscV or CVA6 (formerly Ariane) core on a ECP5 FPGA, you'll bypass carrier restrictions. It would be a private lab network.

Hardened Gentoo wins on all counts. That and Linux From Scratch (even if a nightmare to compile and maintain).
