Throw away the things of this world.
God is the most loving and merciful.
All people are guilty of transgressing against Him. We have earned eternal condemnation through our evil nature, which produces sinful thoughts, words, and actions.
And yet He loves us so much that He has already paid the debt of all of sin. His Son, Jesus Christ, the one true God, of the same divine essence as God the Father and the Holy Spirit, who is also true man, died on the cross for us. What a ransom — for us sinners!
Trust in His sacrifice and He has made you His own and declared you innocent of all your sins. Through faith alone, God grants you the right to be His servant both here and now and forever in the world to come. Amen.
