I'm from 'Frisco more or less. Done Security at some "residential building" but just overnight so didn't meet anyone.
Worked for Housing Authority a couple times doing repairs.
I'm curious WTF its all about if you are Homeless and go to one of the Shelters for "intake"? WTF is the process?
One thing I heard years back is they kick you out at some ungodly hour in the morning, which is actually the coldest part of the day.
Also, if I'm looking for a job, you read the paper, maybe do some self prep and notes for what BS you are going to say, get your clothes, cars, etc shit ready to go to interviews, then make phone calls about 10am hoping to get interview that afternoon so you got a couple hours to get all fixed up.
Hard to do that if they kick you out in your grubbies at 5am.
