Perpetrator: Mohammed Nael Jalani
On August 18th, 2026, at approximately 7:50 a.m. local time, Nael entered the campus armed with a pistol and a rifle. He walked into a classroom and fired at a teacher but missed, then ran to another classroom and shot a student, killing him. Afterwards, Nael made his way to the fifth floor of the school and shot himself with the pistol. The motive is currently being reviewed. The incident was livestreamed on Facebook Live
