Well, well, well - DOGE moves into the Treasury, triggering their longest-serving, highest-ranked career official to quit in a huff, and they find that department has essentially been auto-paying everyone, according to Elon Musk.

"The @DOGE team discovered, among other things, that payment approval officers at Treasury were instructed always to approve payments, even to known fraudulent or terrorist groups," said Musk in a Friday night tweet. "They literally never denied a payment in their entire career."

That is absolutely insane. How many billions or trillions have they wasted in recent years? I bet the fraud is massive. If these officers knew *everything* was approved… Did any of their friends or family get paid fraudulently? Will likely need to be investigated!

David A. Lebryk, a decades-long Treasury official who President Trump named as acting secretary upon taking office last week, announced his retirement in a Friday email to colleagues. According to the report, Lebryk had a dispute with Musk surrogates over access to the US government's payment system used to disburse trillions of dollars every year.

The Musk surrogates are affiliated with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), and have been asking since the election for access to the system, according to the report. The requests were reiterated after Trump's inauguration. After Trump pick Scott Bessent was confirmed as Treasury Secretary on Monday, Lebryk ceased to be acting agency head.

The payment system in question is run by a handful of career officials within the Bureau of the Fiscal Service - which controls the flow of more than $6 trillion annually to households, businesses, and other entities nationwide - and includes Social Security, Medicare, federal salaries, payments to government contractors, tax refunds, grant recipients, and more. The clash is the latest incident involving highly corrupted career 'deep state' bureaucrats vs. the Trump Administration.

Corrupt! USAID Paid Media To Publish Propaganda, Bioweapons Research, Regime Change

The latest CIA-mockingbird freakout is over the speed and effectiveness of Elon Musk's DOGE crew - having recently descended upon the US Treasury - only to discover we've been auto-paying everyone, including "known fraudulent or terrorist groups." Now, there's a massive freakout going on over DOGE's access to the US Agency for International Development (USAID) headquarters, where two top security officials were reportedly put on leave after they tried to block DOGE officials from accessing systems at the agency.

As it turns out, Musk's team gaining access to USAID - the deep state's international slush fund, which notably gave Wuhan Lab collaborator EcoHealth Alliance a $4.67 million grant in 2021, then stonewalled when asked for documents - and handed Ukrainian energy giant Burisma a lucrative contract months after Hunter Biden joined its board, and gave $15 million to organizations linked to George Soros - kicked a massive hornet's nest.

In a Sunday letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Demoncrats on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee penned an angry screed expressing "deep concern" about the USAID office.
