(TwiX) On Saturday afternoon, September 5, 2026, a small, single-engine plane crashed near Sierra Sky Park Airport (E79) in northwest Fresno, California. The crash killed two children and left two adults in critical condition.
The crash occurred between 1:45 and 1:50 p.m. PDT near Blythe Avenue, off the runway and on the bluff/embankment of the San Joaquin River.
First responders found the aircraft on fire.
Firefighters extinguished the flames and contained a brush fire that burned approximately five acres, preventing it from reaching nearby homes.
Some residents experienced a brief power outage, but it was quickly restored.

(TwiX) East Troy, Wisconsin this afternoon. Appears that a Beech Bonanza (N1288Z) crashed a little while ago. A Cessna Caravan skydiver plane spotted the crash site and had jumpers parachute into the crash site and there are survivors! Epic, there are many good people in this world! 🙏
