Arrests-indictments-justice (T.me) Three people have been charged with running a sophisticated commercial sex ring in Massachusetts and eastern Virginia that catered to well-connected clients. This apartment building in Watertown, Massachusetts, is connected to those accused of operating the sex ring, according to court documents.

A single justice of the state's highest court has delayed hearings that were scheduled to begin in Cambridge on Thursday for about two dozen people accused of paying for sex from a high-end commercial sex ring that allegedly operated in apartments in Massachusetts and Virginia.

The individuals have not been publicly identified. They had been summoned to appear in Cambridge District Court for "show cause" hearings as part of a federal case against the accused operators of the sex ring. Typically, such hearings before a magistrate are closed to the public, but a clerk magistrate had ruled they would be open to the public after appeals by WBUR, The Boston Globe, and NBC 10 Boston.

WBUR and the Globe subsequently jointly petitioned the Supreme Judicial Court requesting documents in the case be released, given the public interest in the case. This week, however, lawyers for some of those accused filed objections to the public release of identifying information about them, as well as potential evidence. The Association of Magistrates and Assistant Clerks of The Trial Court and the Clerk-Magistrate of Cambridge District Court also filed objections. The association argued that publicity about potential charges could prejudice the proceedings and would have "collateral consequences" against the individuals accused. It said if criminal charges are filed, that information would then become public.

Supreme Judicial Court Associate Justice Frank Gaziano ruled Wednesday that attorneys for those accused have until Jan. 22 to file further response to the high court. The proceedings are delayed until further order of the SJC.

In a motion to the court, six defense attorneys, described as representing John Doe #1-13, argued that the accused are "private citizens who face adverse and embarrassing collateral consequences if their name and image are published before they have the opportunity to face this case at a clerk’s hearing or in a court of law." They also disputed federal prosecutors' descriptions of the individuals as high-profile executives and business leaders.

"One John Doe is an attorney who does not work for the government, one is a doctor working at a public hospital, one is a scientist without ties to the government. None would be described as 'powerful or elite,' " the motion said.

NOGALES — We just followed the trail of the migrant vans right to the source, visiting the Arizona border town of Nogales, where we encountered some rude and suspicious “Alita’s Angels” NGO (@alitasangels) workers who once again called the police on us.

A volunteer with the American Red Cross, who wouldn’t give us his name, tried to prevent us from filming outside a migrant facility and kept sticking his hand over our cameras. Then, when we questioned a volunteer with the NGO, she said “I am your father” and stormed off.

Nogales Police officers showed up and questioned us after Alitas and Red Cross workers falsely accused us of using racial slurs and inhibiting their movement. We tried to get the officer’s first name but he refused to give it. When we FOIAed the bodycam footage, we were told Nogales police don’t use them.

A group called “Alita’s Angels” runs the facility, but they’re a brand-new nonprofit with no tax records on file. (We requested the documents, with no luck.)

A WORKER with Casa Alitas CONFIRMED TO OUR UNDERCOVER journalist that Casa Alitas was getting federal money.

Once the migrants were boarded on the bus, we got a head start to meet them at a processing facility an hour away in Tucson, but once again, we couldn't get anywhere near the building. The staff of the facility, run by Casa Alitas, threatened to call the cops again, but we managed to interview a local driver who does business at the facility and he gave us even more information.

These “Alitas” (alitasangels.com) groups are part of a shadowy network of secretive nonprofits funding the mass migration of millions of people into the country, without truly vetting asylum seekers' claims and determining if they are eligible for refugee status.

Do you think it is easy? Why do you think this is done the way it is on this board? In the format? Because side by side doesn't work. What program if so? My screen is a 27".. If I used it the way it looks good to me, when someone on a cellphone looks at it, it is way too fucking small, resolution is blown out and or each time the "side by side" is copied, it looses resolution and looks like shit.

Do you realize the sheer amount of time spent here and on the 4 social media sites? They all perform like shit, so to just process around 20 takes around 5 to 6 hours? Then to up them to this site is another almost that?

The Clinton surrogate group Media Matters claimed predictably there was “no evidence” that Ms. Abedin or her family had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and that Trump campaign staffers who spoke of these ties were conspiracy theorists.

To debunk the evidence, Media Matters pointed to a Snopes.com “fact-check” piece that cited as its sole source… Senator John McCain. This is the same John McCain who met Libyan militia leader Abdelkarim Belhaj, a known al Qaeda associate, and saluted him as “my hero” during a 2011 visit to Benghazi.

All Americans can prepare for potential disasters by developing and practicing a family emergency response plan, assembling a disaster supply kit, signing up for alerts on mobile devices, setting aside emergency savings, and maintaining adequate insurance policies for their homes and businesses. The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Ready Campaign outlines other important steps to best prepare for a major disaster.

This month, I encourage all Americans to take the opportunity to ensure they have an emergency response plan in place and ready to be properly executed.
