Doing drawabox
Got a bunch of pens like he reccomends, but they sometimes just stop working where the line comes out really faint whenever I draw over the same line a few times. Then I bought a couple that are the exact ones he reccomends.

Same problem though. It's all fine then the line comes out really faint. Then I scribble for a few seconds and then it's fine. I've got a bunch of pens and they all do this.
Is this just a flaw inherent to this type of pen or did I somehow manage to buy a bunch of pens where every single one is a dud?

Is your drawing surface tilted very upwards or something? Enough that when you hold your pen the tip is above the end? Because it might be gravity working on the ink.
Or maybe it's possible you got a bad batch, but that's a pretty good brand.

The angle, direction, and pressure you hold a pen with can change how well ink flows. I hear technical pens work best when held straight up and down.

Can confirm, I have a stack of them from I knicked from an architecture student. It probably has to do with the fact that the end is a tube instead of a ball or a brush.

Looks like they're dried out. It's strange. Maybe you're going too fast?

If you apply too much pressure while drawing you can ruin the tip really quickly. Check against a light or something to see if the tip is still rounded.
