There is a movement to divide Washington state and create a new state called Liberty

>Creation of new state strictly by gun rights activists

>75% of Eastern WA population supports movement, has congressional backing with multiple bills

>low tax obligations-“government doesn’t produce or own wealth—citizens do”

>”The right to manage and protect life and property will be honored at all levels of government.”

>Currently a voting contest for what the official state rifle will be

https://www.seattleweekly.com/news/split-washington-in-two-51st-state-movement-highlights-cultural-divide

https://libertystate.org

https://libertystate.org/about/grievances/

The creation of a new state is constitutional

>Article 4, Section 3 of the Constitution of the United States allows for the division of a state with a simple majority vote of the Legislature of the state and Congress:

>“New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new State shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or Parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.”

Would anyone from /liberty/ move to the state Liberty if it was created?

I'd move there if it happens. My only gripe is that the Seattle niggers get to keep the name "Washington." Most of them probably think he was a racist whipmasta, they'd probably be happier to rename themselves North Kommiefornia, and let the bigoted inland hicks keep the Washington name.

I'm guessing that's where the right-wing population is concentrated. As far as negotiations go, you can either shoot for sea-access, or you can shoot for a political stronghold. The latter seems more viable.

I don't think this will ever happen, as neat as it would be. Washington already has a food shortage and they have to compete with Commiefornia for being the shittiest state west of Kansas. This would create business competition from companies crossing the border to Liberty land, and between that, having to pay more for food as it passes into Washington since Liberty land DOT regulations would undoubtedly be less strict, and cutting off half the taxes the cities steal from the surrounding regions, they'd be fucked and have to figure shit out quick or otherwise become like Chiraq, which they'd never willingly do. The legislature will be bribed, shot, or otherwise coerced as soon as there's an inkling that this could occur. Tax splurgers won't give up their source of taxes without a fight.

Commiefornia tried to do this too a while back and being realistic, theres no way this is going to go anywhere. I would say the best thing to do is to rally the rural and even suburban areas against the democratic party and their antifa type thugs and take back the state.

Say what you will about groups like Patriot Prayer or Proud Boys, but they are the only people standing up to the left irl and in their own base of places like Seattle.

So antifa just beat up a bunch of Proud Boys and assaulted Andy Ngo and the police did nothing to break it up. The mayor (an antifa supporter) even praised the action by the police to do nothing while giving a bullshit "I condemn violence" comment as well.

Portland is run by corrupt Ted Wheeler, and Antifa are his goons to do his dirty work.

Also related, theres the case of Joseph Alcoff. An Antifa leader and professed communist who has made statements about how he wants America destoryed who was arrested for an assault and hate crime charges after antifa goons attacked two US marines who happened to be hispanic (they shouted racist taunts at them as they attacked them) Alcoff was also deep in the democrat establishment and Andrew Kerr of the daily caller did a whole report that uncovered all of this. No surprise that this story just sort of faded away and only Fox and similar news sites covered it

heres Kerrs original article that exposed all of this

 No.103874

>>103868

I'm not sure Texas has ever been the bastion that people meme it to be. It's the red state with the most electoral votes, which is why it's treated as some kind of ultra-right stronghold by the media. But demographically, it's not a very deep red the way, say, Alabama is. 48% of the state voted blue in 2016, and if the immigration trends (not just from the south but the west coast) continue that number is sure to worsen.

We have a few options to emigrate, the way I see it. New Hampshire, despite the presence of dildotarians, is still very favorable by virtue of its permissive laws, low taxes, and demographics. Its weather is harsh enough that a change of these demographics is less likely; an inch of snow a day keeps the niggers away. The relatively small population also makes it easier to influence local politics…but you'd be dealing with another group trying to do the same, albeit less effectively. The other options are Montana and Alaska, which are good second-best choices as they have similar characteristics to New Hampshire, but not quite as potent. Montana is easier to convince people to move to, and would have an overall lower cost of living since there's a no need to ship produce there.

Their website doesn't go into specifics on the panels they host there. Last time I paid any attention to the festival in 2018, they had panels such as "Libertarian Feminism", a fellow from "Muslims for Liberty" harping on about the evils of immigration enforcement, live recordings of "The Anarchist Shemale", attempts to refute "contradictions" between freedom and property, and other such left-libertarian nonsense. Previous years included such marvels as "The Big Gay Dance Party" and "The Polyamory Panel." This festival has long ceased to endorse anything resembling private property norms, and has simply become an excuse for libertines to indulge in their debauchery under the guise of libertarianism. The fact that they invited Jeffrey Tucker to speak does little to dissuade this impression.

He's gotten progressively pun intended worse as time has gone by. He quit the Mises Institute in a huff of virtue-signaling, distancing himself from his it and most other paleolibertarian types. Now he espouses feminism as one of Ludwig von Mises' greatest virtues, bitches about Rothbard's misogyny in interviews, and declares nationalism to be the greatest threat the world has ever known. In short, he has become more and more of a libertine leftist. Whether this is virtue signaling or the result of his own closeted faggotry I couldn't tell you.

if they can just pull of a vote and show majority supports this it will be HUGE win

theres a reason they stopped the catalan votes.. because any admission that officially the democratic population is being violently coerced will defeat a major point of their rhetoric which is that democracy isnt violence

Social democrats harp about the EU and Democracy so it's a thorn in their side regardless. I'm not a fan of democracy either (not a commie cuck) and i doubt any state will succeed in seceding from a superpower. My point was that they don't even want the citizens to make it to the poll booth because it will make them look soooooo bad if they're shown to be forcing people to belong to their country like the palestinians or some shit.

And yes i do prefer britain allowing the referendum to take place because it advertises how dissatisfied people are with their rulers and it just breeds more distrust in the establishment, which is a good thing and why i like trump.

Have you ever been to the uk? The literati here genuinely despise working class people.

They'd never call them proles of course, but you can tell it's what they're thinking.

>it's a thorn in their side regardless

No it is not. As someone who was born in Spain and moved to the UK I can tell you that "Democracy" isn't particularly respected or idealized in the continent like it is in the UK or US.

They don't "harp" about it, they decry it as "populism" at every turn.

>it will make them look soooooo bad if they're shown to be forcing people to belong to their country like the palestinians or some shit

You don't get it. The EU is not in favour of democracy. They're technocrats; they want to unite the EU and return to the good old days of the 19th century, when Europe was the centre of the world, only now it'll be them at the centre of Europe. They don't give a shit about Catalonia or the Brexiteers.
