És - mint kb minden - a 8-ban ez is szarabb lett.

A grafikonjai nagyon pofásak, de ha valami nagyon leszívja a rendszert akkor gyakorlatilag el sem képes indulni. Tehát csak arra nem jó amire kitalálták kb.

Szeretnék közbeszólni egy pillanatra.

Amit Linuxként emlegetsz, valójában GNU/Linux, vagy ahogy mostanában hívni szoktam, GNU+Linux. A Linux önmagában nem teljes operációs rendszer, hanem szabad része a ténylegesen működő GNU rendszernek, amit hasznossá a GNU corelib-ek, héj segédprogramok és nélkülözhetetlen rendszer komponensek tesznek, POSIX definiált teljes operációs rendszert alkotva.

Számos felhasználó futtat módosított GNU rendszereket nap mint nap, anélkül, hogy tisztában lenne vele. Események furcsa egymásutánjának köszönhetően a leggyakrabban futtatott GNU verziót gyakran Linuxnak hívják, így sokan nincsenek tisztában vele, hogy tulajdonképpen egy GNU rendszert futtatnak, amit a GNU projekt fejlesztett.

Linux a kernel; a rendszer azon része, ami elosztja a gép erőforrásait a futó programjaid között. A kernel nélkülözhetetlen része az operációs rendszernek, de haszontalan önmagában; csak egy teljes operációs rendszer keretében tud működni. A Linuxot általában a GNU operációs rendszerrel együtt használják: a teljes rendszer tulajdonképpen GNU hozzáadott Linuxszal, avagy GNU/Linux. Az úgynevezett Linux disztribúciók valójában GNU/Linux disztribúciók.
