I don't really know how to put it in words exactly. All I can tell you is that after a few months I felt that it was much better when I knew less about them and when they knew less about me and that I didn't quite like their character or enjoy their company as much as I did before. In real life luckily it takes way less time to understand that the person I'm talking to is not even worth wasting my breath on.
