To be honest it is a weight off my shoulders. To constantly remain vigilant in ensuring the highest board quality and drunken blog posts takes a lot out of you mentally and emotionally. My hands are covered with the blood of thousands of slain gays and crossies.
I am thinking of restarting the Just Poetry thread. I toyed with the idea of a puro thread but it would just encourage crossies.
The thing is the board owner doesn't have a lot to do with the quality of the board. The users decide what to post and are the content creators. At best a janny needs to tidy up and keep the geard turning. Sometimes they can artificially stimulate growth by cracking down on an element of the board causing reactionary users to increase and refine wwww production but inevitably that backfires and causes the splintering of board culture.
Tenko seems to be doing a fine job as janny. Let him do his thing unless he really fucks up.
