Have you ever wondered about cat purring? When we try to mimic it, we usually use trills, however this would not be be accurate since cat purring seems to have a source in the larynx. In such case wouldn't a proper human equivalent of a purr be a glottal sound like hhh? It might be voiced for a better effect,
