* Trovate la vostra casa su Street View cercandola su Google Maps con il vostro indirizzo.

* Trascinate l'omino giallo di Street View sulla strada davanti alla vostra abitazione per passare alla modalità Street View. Dopo di che cliccate su "Segnala un problema" nella parte inferiore destra dello schermo.

* Compilate quindi il modulo selezionando "Problema di privacy", e segnalando come motivo che volete offuscare la vostra abitazione. Inserite il vostro indirizzo email, e risolvete il reCAPTCHA. Infine cliccate "Invia".

* Diffondete a parenti e conoscenti questa guida.

MOTIVI

* Prevenzione di studio in remoto della zona da parte di malintenzionati (ladri).

* Protezione della propria privacy.

* Impedire la vendita a terzi da parte di Google di dati riguardanti il proprio domicilio.

* Impedire ad un'azienda straniera di raccogliere dati in Italia.

Non ho idea di come funzioni per i palazzi. In via generale però, quando dai la descrizione, ho scoperto che molto probabilmente di facciata l'offuscamento è automatizzato. Cerca di fare si che ciò che vuoi oscurare sia il più possibile entro i limiti del riquadro rosso, magari spostandoti anche nella strada per migliorare l'angolazione. Inoltre dai la descrizione in inglese utilizzando parole chiave. Esempio: "red house with green windows", o descrizioni simili ("windows" sarebbero in realtà gli scuri). Ho avuto conferma di oscuramento anche in 10 minuti, dove mi avvisavano che però avrei dovuto attendere 24 ore per l'effettivo aggiornamento dell'immagine.
