io ho solo un'esperienza con un pitbull.
il mio vecchio vicino ne ha preso uno. i primi mesi si faceva sotto, cercando una carezza in testa, o qualcuno che gli lanciasse qualcosa da riprendere. di punto in bianco è passato da un atteggiamento giocoso al volermi mangiare.
non ho mai capito cos'è successo.

Probabilmente nulla
Il problema coi pitbull è che il discorso che è colpa del padrone e non del cane vale solo fino ad un certo punto
I pitbull sono stati selezionati dall'uomo apposta per essere il più aggressivi possibile, e per quanto bene tu li possa addestrare rimane sempre la possibilità che un giorno decidano di attaccare senza particolare motivo
La verità è che i pitbull sono stati creati come cani da combattimento, e una volta che i combattimenti tra cani sono stati banditi hanno avuto poca ragion d'esistere se non essere riciclati come animali da compagnia dai canili che non li vogliono abbattere

I pitbull sono bellissimi ed eleganti quasi quanto i dobermann.
Nella mia esperienza li ho sempre visti in mano a pancabbestia che li portavano in bar e se si agitavano gli mollavano due pugni in testa con una forza tremenda.
Credo che in quei casi specifici l’aggressività del cane fosse nata a causa della coglionaggine del padrone.

Da orgoglioso gattaro non saprei dire la differenza in aggressività tra un pitbull, un doberman, un rottweiler ecc.
Ogni tanto si sente di un pitbull che mastica i bimbi di casa di punto in bianco, ma non so giudicare se sia una cosa che accade con cadenza statistica e solo coi pitbull oppure no.
Approfitto per richiedere quella immagine dove c'è il cane ebreo dal lungo muso che fa invadere la comunità di labrador dai "pitbull di pace".

Il fatto è che io sono sicuro che un bravo addestratore possa trasformare anche il più pericoloso orso o leone in una creaturina dolce e simpatica.
Il problema, però, è che non tutti sono addestratori magnifici, per questo motivo possedere leoni o avere in possesso orsi è control la legge.
Ora, siccome i pitbull sono per natura estremamente aggressivi o perlomeno proni ad attacchi di "Essere Un Grandissimo Figlio Di Puttana" io suggerirei che siccome non tutti sono bravi addestratori queste belve non siano accessibili a chiunque voglia avere un cane.

In generale tutti queste razze di cane sono state create apposta per la caccia, il combattimento o la guardia, quindi che di punto in bianco attacchino i loro "padroni" non è così inusuale, stanno solo reagendo agli istinti sviluppatisi negli anni.
Sono più contro la gente che li tiene come animali di compagnia invece che per il loro uso originale. Un po' come quelli che hanno gli uccelli fuori dalle gabbie e si sbalordiscano di trovare scagazzate per casa.
