I've been hypnotized for maybe a decade. How do I get out of this "sleep" minus of course death of myself or a close family/friend. I was thinking cold showers, loud noises, exciting activities, flashing lights, and "unplugging" through nature. It is not that I don't like the hypnotic agony I'm in but the real world is here. Are we staying in this dream like state because of the realities of this world suffocating us and making sure our breath runs dim enough so a possessive force, either friendly or hostile, can take over our nervous systems, minds, and even the images we see through our the stalks of our eyes? My question is: HOW DO I WAKE UP WITHOUT KILLING SOMEBODY?

Sounds like you've associated the feeling of dissociation/derealization with "being hypnotized". It can be a common response to stress or trauma, but if you're feeling it consistently for years, it's a problem that needs professional help. You might have luck seeking psychotherapy/cognitive behavioral therapy.

The reason those things are associated with breaking hypnosis is because hypnotic trance is a state of focus. What might help more in your situation are grounding techniques. Making your environment more stressful might just make the feeling worse.
