There's Likera, which on the upside has many oldfags. I never have quite figured out what it's about though, I think it's (pre-trans-identified) transvestite, latex/leather and bondage.

Posters there have gone very deep into exploring hypnosis, but not much of it is hetero / male-identified.

I refuse to proselytize hypno. Whoever has a knack for it will look for it and I don't wish it upon anyone else.

Last decade it worked like this: curious people stumble upon some hypno video on youtube or some porn site, then realize the clip they watched came from a paid file (either an advertisement or pirated clip). If they go the piracy route and try hard enough, they'll find this place.

So what changed?

-Patreon and Kemono standardized piracy. If Kemono satisfies you, you don't need to look further and you'll never find this board.

-Back when we were still on newfapchan, search engines showed this board pretty quickly. I found /hypno/ knowing nothing about chan culture. Today, 8chan is demonized and suppressed more in search results.

-There's many more free files these days. A lot of people are satisfied with the free stuff.

I think people first discover /hypno/ for the file sharing, then stay for the discussion. The difference between the blatant honesty of anonymous image boards and the hugbox faggotry everywhere else is much bigger with hypno than any other interest of mine. I just think that, for newfags, the necessity of file sharing weakened over the years, and consequently, fewer people find this board and thus fewer anonymous discussions.

Aside from what others already said, shitty brainrot PMVs that have very little to do with actual hypnosis have really dominated this scene. 10 years ago or so when I looked for erotic hypnosis at least half of stuff I found was genuine hypno, now it's less than 10%. So most people who hear about erotic hypnosis probably don't even know there are some more high quality files and hypnodommes to look for out there

I feel like as far as leaking content goes, it's a lot more difficult to do nowadays due to the nature of the platforms. DRM through OF or Patreon isn't unstoppable but it's another roadblock between would-be leakers and content. It's not like old sites where you just got an mp3 link and sharing it was basically unenforceable. I remember one old school creator, maybe it was Ҝ卂丂卄卂? Her file directory backend was just accessible via a link someone discovered and posted to newfapchan. That kind of thing just doesn't happen anymore. So naturally the amount of content making it to pirates is just lower.

Someone should just take over this place and get rid of the wordfilter.

We're all used to there not being enough gatekeeping but the opposite does exist and it's what's happened here. Not enough new people to replace the natural attrition of old people moving on to something else.

I would love for RS forums to become a place for discussion and have tried to spur it on in the past with little response. It also seems like their are hundreds of forums created that just never get used. Is there a better way to sort through and find the ones that are active?
