I am looking for a coder interested in working on a loud house visual novel game in Ren'py. I have already put together a team with an artist who's art you can see here and a proper writing partner. We already have much of what the game's mechanics and ideas would be planned out and have ideas in place for how things progress with each one of the sisters. As well as later opening up Royal woods to include more and more of the girls and women of the series.
We are all quite passionate about the show and have wanted to do a game of it for perhaps 2 years now and are hoping to find a good coder to bring it to life and work with us on it.

The problem start when you make something from american stuff they are way overprotective and not only that when the authors run off of money they start suing the parody makers to get money like the musician that sued the compositor of the OST of dragon ball because according to him the music was a rippoff of his songs (3 musical notes identical and he dared to claim someone ripped off his music) just to get money and force to bandai to use bruce falconner or whatever name he has.
Most of the problems people get cease and desist from nintendo is either
A.- Author of parody ripped a game and used the sprites from said game.
B.- Author of parody extracted 3d models from nintendo game added bones and started charging for it (patreon or similar systems)
As you see problem isn't that nintendo is against parodies, problem is when people use ripped sprites or 3d models from nintendo games.
.- Pokemon essentials use ripped of sprites from nintendo games
.- SFM models from zero suit samus,splatoon,smash bros,etc are 3d models extracted from nintendo games.
.- MMD models same as above.
.- XNALara same as above.
Even if they have minors edits they are still nintendo IP.
I remember a pokemon game from a long time ago unfinished and while was good and had the same style as the series the problem the game had was that used screenshots ripped from the anime.

Every rpg maker game is terrible. I would rather play pretty much anything other than a shitty rpg with an unnecessarily large world. RPGs are good when people know how to write and design worlds. I don't know why so many indie devs bother, there is so much more better shit you could be doing over designing large empty maps and balancing low level enemies.

My main recommendation is that you put all the information you can into database files, like a spreadsheet saved as an csv or an xml file, which just allow you to put down your data exactly how you need to even if they are verbose.
Something like this isn't that hard as long as you have your data together. It's mostly just some gui stuff and simple math after that for a renpy game. You just don't want to confuse yourself by hardcoding stuff.
