The Patreon 'version' that I've found in the past is some isolated character renders…. which I can't actually access since I use a mac. I would just encourage you to keep an eye on the monstergirlisland.com site. The dev is super active and they seem to just post the new demo for everybody on the same day.

Alright, I found it on some shitty Russian file-sharing site. Took me 3 hours to download with the absurd rate limit and ages to upload with my shitty internet.

I scanned it with MSE and Malwarebytes before extraction, after extraction, and after installation and it seems clean.

The installer is all Russian but the game is in English.

There seems to be less content in this demo than the free one. In the first you could fuck a slime demon is all sorts of positions, while in this all I can do without crashing is grope the breasts/face sit/tit fuck the elf. You can pet the catgirl too but that seems to be it. The game crashes at the end of each scene

I'm no patron either. And even if I knew hard facts I'd better not spoil what will happen in the next demo, 'cause I myself can't stand it if people do this. But I understand you like to know more - and you're not the only one. If i needed to make an educated guess, I'd say demo1 had just been a tease, not more. That's clear. With demo2 there should be a real story plot coming along. Dev wrote the next demo is definitly ready this year, could probably be by november, so stay tuned. Now, there are 11 girls more or less ready. If they all get some quests, and stuff for you to do with them I don't know. Demo2 story probably continues right with that elf chick - you may finally visit her village, no reason not to deliver your crabs and coconuts… think you know what I mean.

Cat girl - living with elf, that hornet girl, too. Spidey - she got a house, maybe you can go visit her, if she is around. This should be *one group*… And there is slimey, should also be around to nag you.

Dev once posted on his website you might be able to begin sort of a "relationship" with some, this could start with demo2. Either you could move in with them or one is moving in with you, already forgot about it. So you may get to settle in this village for some time, I guess. Don't forget it is depopulated, as this is part of the story…

Think of Illusion games (AG or AA series, I don't know). Not the game mechanics obviously, but the locations ingame - visit a girl, do some favour for her, maybe take her to some place… a little walky-talky interaction. If she does like you perhaps you get some quality time.

This may depend on the char and how she would react to you. Slimey would pretty much rape you from the beginning, I think - holding hands, hugging her is out of question. Maybe dominating her.

Then there is a serpent girl and that shark girl - somehow they stick together, but they seem not to belong to the girls mentioned before. This could mean there is a *second group* waiting to interact with later on. You might get involved with both, e.g. while doing some quest. Perhaps changing sides, doing some things for these other girls - sorta that stuff. Highly speculative, take a grain…

Then there are two fox girls - how they fit in, if they are connected to one of those two groups is not clear to me, but I guess so. I hope for some twin-sis action.

Dev mentioned there could be up to 20 girls around *at the end* (= not in demo2), some of them are probably already in development. Two girls may be based more on japanese folklore (spirits, so no monsters per se). Again, highly speculative, 'cause he freshly worked on that. They, and others, might be included in later patreon builds first, before another demo would be delivered - as happened already. I remember the dev also wrote there could be a story mode in the end (perhaps with diff endings) and a free roam mode - if I got that correctly, that is. Would be nice to have, giving some replay value. Also remember such from Illusion games… Again - speculative, 'cause this may happen when/if game is nearly finished I'd say. So don't nail me to the wall for that.

This is all I can say for sure. If anybody know better just follow up. How it all comes together I don't know. Hardly anybody does before a new build comes out, which is *alright* for me. After all, I really wanna have some nice things to look forward to. Hope that helped somehow.

Was honestly disappointed in this new demo. A lot of forced empty exploration in the beginning which quickly became dull and tedious. Also expected more than 1 new H scene but instead we got the same mako H scene + a new kitsune scene. The mako scene was barely improved, pretty much the same as the old build. The new H scene was okay but the previous builds had better animation to it.

Some lessons to notice:

Make sure you have made a plan beforehand, or you are going to improvise and utterly fail (running out of ideas, including more and more by cluttering or redoing 'old' stuff, or whatever else will be hampering you). You end up not achieving what you envisioned, and your game will be nothing but unfinished shit.

Have you tried animating or scripting crap? I understand that it is frustrating waiting for a fap game, but we must be patient, there is a lot that goes in to it… "why dosent he hire more employees" A decent coder cost a lot of money (especially with experience, u be looking at around 6 - 10 grand full time), so making 20 grand a month you could probably higher one or even two if you can find them - that part is also not easy. Akabur spend over two years developing 2d game "Princess trainer" he had at least 3 ppl working on it. Sunset rider spent about 6 month on Korra trainer 2d one background one event game. I am grateful to have all the content that we already do for flipping free. Original characters, humor, sex and so on. The only thing I wish to add is centaur girl (which is a work in progress) and more anal. There is a Developer named Akabur - you probably heard of him - he finished two games and released them in full - he is working on a few more and I am sure will finish them as well. I was reading trough his development notes, and he listed many of the hurtles that he had to overcome one of witch was people constantly demanding quick release of his games not realizing how much work, planing and polishing does it take. I would rather wait and get a gem of a game rather than get a crap of a game and complain how developer took people money and release piece of s##t. I truly don believe that Redamz is milking the patreon cow, we just need to be patient - he is pretty consistent we got Halloween release (2 versions) now 2 months later "day 2 demo". Ok I assume that it was the russian version, in this case I made a folder for that demo of mako 2, so when I was asked where to install it, I choose the folder that i created, it should be in the folder that you chose to install it, but it isn´t being installed, its just extracted.

Look in the programs (x86) folders, that is where I found mine titled Monster Girl Island

First of all, sorry for not updating much this last month. As I mentioned in the last post, I was super busy moving, but that affair is already finished.

The upcoming scene is nearly done, there have been some issues with the availability of the VA so I might have to call a backup. Regardless, it shouldn't be more than a week from now for release. If needed I will upload the scene with no VA and update it later.

After all that is done, there's one big objective for the remaining of the year: To finish all the characters of the game. The order in which this will be done is as follows:

I think the big problem is that 99% of devs do not have the mindset of entrepreneur, but that of employee.

Instead of seeing the Patreon money as an opportunity to start a business that is going to be a lot more profitable in the future, they see as a simple paycheck.

The entrepreneur would seek efficiency to deliver as much as possible to those who are paying. Already the employee will only think about how to guarantee his salary for a few more months (which in the case of Patreon is delaying the game purposefully).
