This deserves its own thread, we may have history in the making. The EM Drive is still being tested by NASA and showing much promise.
The pic also fits pretty well here.
Estimates of travel speeds using this tech are astounding.
Apparently according to this article, the EM Drive could get us to Mars in only 70 days.

The EM Drive has been tested and shown to work in the vacuum of outer space

Yes it seems to be fairly inefficient. Thanks for the vid. But it doesn't change the fact that it does work and could be improved upon.
A lot has yet to be discovered by science and theories should be adapted to new discoveries. But when mainstream science theories have become so big that fundamental changes to it cause a rewriting of big portions, then a reluctance to change emerges among mainstream scientists which grows to the point of suppression of new discoveries.
What appears in the news is often just the tip of the iceberg. But sometimes effects are also overstated. In this case it remains yet to be seen.

Some of the results in pic

indicate that approximately 1 watt yields a thrust of 10 gram at 1m/s^2.
Like in the top result input power is 10.5 W and output force is 10 mN or 0.01 N
0,001kg * 9.81m/s^2 = 10mN
Which means that 10mN is enough to reduce the weight by 1 gram against gravity.
If the gravitational acceleration isn't applied and we just use 1 instead then the effect can be about 10 times amplified compared to when gravity applies against it.
0.01kg * 1m/s^2 = 10mN (10 grams at 1m/s^2)

The EM drive isn't new, its been in testing since 2001. It only entered the mainstream because NASA took it up and started doing tests.
Other similar devices using microwaves have been tested from around that time.

Mainstream dogmatic physicists and media seem to have yet again buried the em drive by stating it is caused by magnetic reflex due to the earth's magnetic field.
The fact of the matter is that the device did lose weight when it was turned on, so that's still worth exploring

I don't think it has been tested in a magnetically isolated container yet
