I am 50/50 on it. She is not relevant to pokemon or nintendo at all anymore. The only reason she is still in is because she is a legacy Smash character, and I think it's best for the series to change things up.
But at the same time she's one of my favorite characters and I love her.

The true pokemon mainstays should be pikachu and mewtwo. They are the only pokemon that have continued high relevance for the series, and you can think of mewtwo as a villain. Jigglypuff rocks and has been in from the start so I get that. Anyone else is on thin ice, especially now that pokemon has its own damn fighting game.
so basically pika, mewtwo, jigglypuff, and new current gen popular pokemon. Do not bring back lucario or the frog or charizard (he's cool but he's in pokken so whatever)
