What's your longest time without going outside your house?    引きこもり   04/09/18 (Mon) 23:34:47 969fd5  No. 5193
I've been a hikki for 7 years now and nothing changes. For 5 years straight i never left my room. Start of 2017 i was basically forced out of my room, i was half living with my mom half living with my dad for 9 months. Eventually got my first ID. Passed written drivers test to obtain a permit. After that i just went right back to being a full on hikki, never even took the driver part of the test, didn't even drive a car, ever. That was around 7 months ago now.
I don't know why my mom or step dad don't even bother with trying to get me out of the house. I went to Christmas with my family for the first time in years. It's been so long that my aunts children grew up and one of them didn't even know who i was. lol
Thinking about that just makes me cringe to the point i wanna kill my self.

My longest streak was 4 years, which started right after I dropped out of high school up until I got a job and attended college. I did that for 2 years then relapsed and became a hikikomori again, now I'm back up to 2 years in the hikki lifestyle. This time, however, I don't want to get back out into the world. Instead, I want to build up some skills and work from home.

I actually did get my licence at 23. The landwhale who administered the test actually scoffed at my age since getting a licence after 18 is apparently abnormal. Just another one of the nonsensical, arbitrary social standards here in the US.

I don't think I've ever gone longer than 2 years. Eventually I get a jury duty summons or have to evacuate from a hurricane or something.

I am almost 25 and still don't know how to drive i think if i went to get my licence i too would get scoffed at because of that stupid social standard.

I managed to land a job back in 2016, it was supposed to be part-time but I ended working 50 hour weeks due to the place being severely understaffed. I lasted about three months before I had an autistic meltdown and ditched in the middle of a lunch break, never went back. Following that, I don't think I've been out, at least not in daylight, since.

I only got my licence because my parents kept pushing me to. I actually don't like driving so I avoid it whenever I can. My great grandmother was the same way and would never drive unless it was an emergency.

>it was supposed to be part-time but I ended working 50 hour weeks due to the place being severely understaffed
Same thing happened to me when I started working. Most places wont hire too many employees on purpose, because after a certain number they are required by law to provide healthcare, so they remain understaffed to avoid the cost. I've had two jobs and the first one was understaffed, so I started out working 40+ hours each week for the first couple months. Despite this, I was never considered to be full-time because of 'split-shifts' which is when you work for 4 hours, leave, and come back for another 4 hours. They do this because if you're not on for a continuous 8 hours, you aren't considered full-time and wont receive benefits. It really sucked because it would eat up my entire day and leave me completely exhausted. Also, I once knew a guy who had to work a 21-hour shift at a fast food place because they were severely understaffed. The current American job market is a absolute nightmare.

I know right it basically is a complete mess nowadays. And i can completely sympathize with today's generation of young people who are becoming Neets because they have realized that the system that was put in place many years ago which is working a job and going from point A. to point B. from point B. back to point A. until you retire or die that system is broken and it technically always was and it slowly mentally and physically kills you overtime.

this system was always broken but back in the day you had things you told yourself you are fighting for. Your wife, your children, your tribe, your village, your motherland, your countrymen, your president, your king, your emperor, your pope etc.
Today all those things are replaced with consumerism and escapism which cannot give meaning.

That's very true anons. I'm actually glad that more and more people are refusing to work. With any luck, it will accelerate the already inevitable collapse of the current government and hopefully something much better can take its place.

A collapse is likely to occur, but I'm not sure whether or not something better will take its place.
The current balance of probability is as follows:
1. America's electrical grid, having been carefully primed for easy sabotage for many years, is taken down and remains down for months.
2. International media immediately declares the event to be a "Russian attack" (or possibly a "Russian cyberattack"), and never stops declaring it no matter how much evidence to the contrary is unearthed.
3. Roughly 90% of America's population dies, generally due to starvation or violence.
(A bit of reading, if you're interested: https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CHRG-110hhrg45133/pdf/CHRG-110hhrg45133.pdf )
In an ideal world, the survivors would know to disregard any "Russian hackers" narrative and would feel sympathetic towards Russia and China, which themselves suffered tens of millions of deaths under similar circumstances. (Holodomor and the Great Leap Forward.) And while America's culture is distinctly Christian, it could easily adopt the Bible's own "false Jews, whose synagogues are synagogues of Satan" narrative (discarding the current Scofield Bible narrative as heresy) and begin opposing the New World Order after having been a minion of it for decades.
However, reality is not ideal. I have no idea what caliber of people would emerge from the rubble. America could become self-sufficient and prosperous (as Nazi Germany did), or it could be annexed outright by some foreign power or another.
A critical factor that I can't predict is how world leaders would react to the event. I can make an educated guess at Donald Trump, assuming he's still in power if/when it happens and doesn't get assassinated: declare martial law, work feverishly to restore power, start an investigation into the event. But other world leaders are outside the scope of my perception. Actions of foreign powers, benevolent or malevolent, would likely have a significant impact.

do you experience these feelings guys ? I assume it's the consequences of being a shut for three years straight
Also I don't know how I am supposed to react anymore if I'm sitting with some people I laugh at anything they say because I don't know if what they said supposed to be funny or not so I give the most common reaction which is laughing but they find that awkward and autistic to laugh at every thing so they usually say anon why are you laughing ? it wasn't supposed to be that funny anyway and they continue their discussion
I don't want to go outside nor sitting with these strangers but my family is forcing me and I've to finish my high-school years because I'm too much of a pussy to stand against them and do what I want

The sun is burning your body that's grown too sensitive. We're like those see-through lizards they found in ancient caves.
Try going out at night instead, or at least dawn/dusk.
I tend to do a face that's halfway between neutral and smiling and nod when I'm forced to be in conversations.
It contains all elements of a normal human reaction, so I hope I come across as merely being somewhat socially retarded at all times rather than severely socially retarded occasionally.

You're probably right. I think one thing that would be amazing (incredibly unlikely but amazing) would be if the electrical grid were to go down just long enough for one ballsy country to make a serious strike against (((our greatest ally.))) I also wish that we could get everyone together – natsocs, commies, libertarians, ancaps, conservatives, liberals, everyone – and unite them against our only true (((threat.))) Honestly, the Jews' popularity, nationwide, is at an all time low. If we could convince enough groups of the fact the (((they))) are the biggest threat, we could make significant progress towards actually freeing the people. But alas I'm a dreamer, constantly hoping for any kind of silver lining that seems plausible.

Does it usually itch where you have hair?
If so, you may have the same thing as I do: A genetic defect that makes your hair roots reject your skin that gets worse when there's even miniscule amounts of sweat involved.
Try a skin doctor, there's a special shampoo that helps.

10 1/2 months. Only reason I leave is if I have to go for an appointment, or something (like to a dentist, for instance). Only for me to then return to another 5-10 months of unbroken time spent in the house until, again, I leave for something trivial, like going for a walk late at night with my mom. In that sense, I've spent a great deal of consecutive time indoors. Years, basically. I also haven't been outside, on my own, in broad daylight since about 2005, for what it's worth.
