Had the same problem myself originally, to fix it create shortcut to 'RPG_RT.exe' and add 'NormalPlay ShowTitle Window' to the end of the target (Right Click > Properties, then after the last quotation mark).
Apparently the issue is the software default at too low resolution and causes a crash, the above fix starts game up in windowed mode.

It shouldn't be doing that, if you set the shortcut target correctly and are running it with the short cut it should start windowed.
If you are doing it correctly and are still getting error try compatibility mode, beyond that I'm sorry I can't help you. You'd be best off googling 'getting rpgmaker 2k games to run'

For the RPGMaker 2k ones it's in games root directory and they're named 'SaveXX.lsd' (Where XX is a number, ex; '01' for first slot).
For the newer RPGMaker VXAce ones it's also in root and they're named 'SaveXX.rvdata2'.
Also why do you even want to delete them? It's not like it has any effect on anything if you don't load them, rename them or just override them.

I tried it and it doesn't seem to work.
If I try running it in Japanese locale it simply tells me the game is corrupted, and if I run it with English locale it works until I start a new game, from where it fades to black and says Im missing a sound file in Japanese.
I was fucking around and I managed to get beyond the menu through adding some sound files from the other games into the sound folder, but that only got me so far, and Im still stuck on the intro.

Everything that's in Jap in >>49028 is basically corrupt NAMEwise. Apparentally its a problem with Windows 7, so I tried downloading a hotfix to see if the problem was on my end, but after downloading the file again and getting the same results, I can safely say the problem isn't on my end.

Just two games are fully translated. I don't think it would be that hard to translate the others since they are short and like most lolige the Japanese used is pretty simple since it is mostly conversations with children but you are not likely to get anyone who actually know Japanese to translate games like these unless you are willing to commission them because most notable translators who actually know what they are doing typically don't want to be associated with lolige. m1zuki who translated Naked King's Game unfortunately does not seem interested in translating the rest unless you are willing to pay him and Everblue who translated Pettanko Park has disappeared off the face of the earth.

Actually, not only I also have interest in the translation of that game, I also have the first two games almost 100% translated. I'm in the process of playing the first game and correcting typos and weird japanese phrases, if you guys are interested.

There you have everything you would need. The new Soundhax, which is a replacement of the Cubic Ninja exploit is way easy to use. Of course, as the other anon said, you on't need to install CFW in order to play Homebrew, but I highly recommend it, you can play any 3DS game for free.

There have been lot of changes since Cubic Ninja. Check the /v/ thread for help and check the page I linked. You need to check which version your SysNAND is in, but I think all versions can get CFW as of now.

Merry Christmas guys, here is the first game fully translated.
A couple things, during battles, a strange japanese symbol appears on the text box in the middle of the english text. I have searched all over the files for that character and it doesn't show up, I can't find it to change it, but it's only a minor thing.
Another thing, since this is my first translation, I didn't know how best to translate the word "chinchin" in japanese, which means penis, since the two games use different words with the same meaning, but different degrees of maturity. I left it with a more common term, but please tell me if I'm wrong in this case and if you find any wall of untranslated text that might have gone through me in the text file.

Not exactly, it's one of the steps. I first use google to get an understanding of the phrase as a whole and then use Jisho to get the meaning word by word and then interpret the whole thing. This means that broken phrases that you usually see in only machine translations are not going to be there.
I never said that I didn't know english, I said it's not my main language, but I'm quite skilled at it.
The only problem of translating this is that I translated it from raw texts, which means I wasn't looking at the game scene while translating. This might lead to problems in things like gender, because japanese is unfortunately very troublesome, interpretation based and I just am not having the time to play through and correct these things :(

It does happen weirdly often with this series. The guy that was translating the second game hasn't been heard from since he posted the first game a year ago, the guy the was translating the one with the older woman hasn't hasn't been seen in a year either, and I don't know if the guy on cuckchan who was translating Anoko Quest is still posting, but he certainly hasn't finished it.
These games have like an hour of content, you could probably translate one in a week. I don't know why so many people keep dropping them.

In all honesty, the "simple language" is poor bullshit. These games are usually kana soups. Kanji exists in japanese language for a reason, it actually makes a lot easier to read stuff in kanji once you know it than in just kana, so it gets pretty confusing and you're often trying to guess when it is a marker or word.

Also, I'm only like 2 years in japanese, barely 1500 cards on Anki and read Tae Kim around 3 times. I'm not really bright, though.

As for the language, soundwise, yes, it's pretty simple, but written it's completely different. For Japanese kids is easy because they are surrounded by all those words and symbols. An adult trying to learn the language from zero will have a lot more problems and usually it's easier for him to learn kanji, THEN kana should be intuitive.
