Do you like fashion? How do you dress?
I notice that most men might dress with fancy or crappy clothes but have none or almost no idea of how to match clothes.
Girls on the other hand always try to have at least something in their outfit that gives a touch of cuteness.

I don't wear "fashionable" clothes much, largely because modern male fashion is fucking retarded, but I still pay attention to how I dress, for sure. It feels good not looking like trash.
That being said, I'm still a guy, so I'm privy to stereotypes too. Like, yeah, my shirt looks nice, but it's also usually the third or fourth day in a row I wore it.
it also depends on the season. I'm not going to wear a long sleeved collared shirt in the summer. Nor am I going to wear a nice jacket.
As far as what you're saying about girls, don't kid yourself, you know it's not "always."
Plenty of girls just wear the same old shit of: tank top, short shorts, sneakers
or in the winter: coat, yoga pants, boots

My clothing style is pretty basic.. Like the anon before stated: top, short shorts.
However, I dress by following colour palettes: 2 colors only.
I love dressing bicolour, and match my attire accordinly. Even my purse.
My mom says its tacky sometimes, but I like it that way. Just two colours.

I dont give a fuck, i usually pick what is practical and functional
During hot summer cargo shorts and plain t-shirts or short sleeved shirts and usually some sport shoes, if the day is colder usually my black combat trousers and sport shoes/desert combat shoes
If not in summer plain t-shirt and a hoodie sport shoes or black combat boots

Well, I mean basic with the type of clothing I use. The "basic bitch" pack.
Colored short shorts, usually. But matching shoes and tops is the good part!
Sometimes I only match the hue of pants and shoes, while accesories and top follow each other I use in the palette
Guys can also follow palettes!

It'll look ugly on me, I can already tell. It's such a big step in fucking up my appearance that I'm living in fear of regretting it while not being able to undo it. I already cut my hair once, at the age of 10. I had beautiful long pigtails, then I chopped them off and went with that for 7 years. It was cute, I like it, but I'll never be able to get my long hair back. I constantly want both hairstyles at once and I don't want to settle. So this is just an example. Never dyed hair but I'm guessing I'll have similar experience, at least that's what I'm afraid of. Oh and I'm growing out my hair now, so it's strict /nocut/.
My parents while liking me as a non-edgy goth more are the least reason. But yes that too, why would I want to dissapoint them.

Informal attire with sport coat untied and casual shoes, cleanly shaven, I wear this pretty much anywhere. I know this makes me appear as a jerk/rich guy to some or even reviewbrah wierd but I think it's still the best option available for influencing others. I'm also not interested in intimate relationships, but that one goes without saying.
The exceptions are when it's too hot for a business shirt with a tie, then I just wear a casual striped short sleeved shirt
For short walks and in foreign countries I just wear what's comfortable, this oftentimes includes socks with sandals, I wish this wasn't taboo, it's the most comforable combination imaginable for the appropriate weather, dirt doesn't get in your shoes and sweat is not gluing your feet with your shoes

>I cant understand maid outfits. Wouldny they get in the way? I know they would for me
While >>5675 is correct in that most modern maid outfits are for fetish or cosplay, remember that maid outfits ARE suppose to look good. Remember that the only people that had servants were very rich, they didn't want someone walking around their expensive residence looking like poverty. In fact it was actually a common tactic for poorer men to desire a job as a butler simply because they would get to wear a nice, expensive suit that is far out of their pay grade.
So basically the point of a maid outfit is not to look like a dirty poor person.

>then why do rich, older men dont (get fit)?
First let me apologize since I know that men posting outside of specifically designated threads is frowned upon on this board, but I believe I can give you a good snapshot of the male mind on this matter specifically, since I am male, entering middle-age, not fit, and have had some financial success.
The main reason men get fit is to compete with other men, usually for status in a hierarchy, which equates to the chance to attract a sexual partner. We are not always aware of this, it's just how we are wired.
Rich men can compete effectively, since stability is quite good at attracting women. So they are likely to continue putting effort into a successful strategy.
Older men who are not already fit have trouble getting fit, because they are on the decline, physically, since about age 20-25. Since getting fit is not as effective for them, they are less likely compete with it. (However older men who are fit, will do a lot to stay fit. It is impressive to be both old and fit. Much status.)
Rich, older men therefore have even less motivation to get fit, since it is harder for them than younger men, AND they already have a more effective way to compete, which is likely to become even more effective as they get older. It is a matter of choosing to spend ones limited effort on the strategy most likely to succeed.

Usually I wear wrap dresses or a pencil skirt with a plain top. For men it really depends on their personality and age. I kind of like beards, but not gey hipster beards it just depends. I also like the Hugo Boss suits from the 30's and 40's. But it depends on the man

guy here, I don't understand this competitiveness angle - I got more 'action' when I was a bit more flabby and only got /fit/ when I started getting paranoid about the power grid going down

Manflab isn't a big deal as long as it doesn't flop over the 'goods'

Total opposite here.
I wear full casual clothing like denim jeans and simple blouses to disguise the fact I have no body to speak of.
I still consider myself a teen so it's not weird at all.

All these fucking plebs trying to look stylish by failing to imitate 18th century British men's style.

I like knee socks and typically wear them with knee length, simple dresses from the officewear section.
I generally dress maturely for my age. Despite being a college student I only let myself get into a tshirt and jeans rut for about a week at a time before I go back to heels and black, beige or navy dresses. Even when i go to parties I just slip on a tighter dress that makes my cleavage poppin, but even then I don't let myself underdress to the point that I'd feel awkward meeting a professor of mine.

I do the same thing with shorter dresses or skirts, especially if I know I'll be running a lot. I don't like worrying about pervs.

please dont fall for this meme, even if it makes you feel better about being sloppy about what you wear. If you're a legal adult you should be able to wear and iron your shirts. It's professional, looks amazing, and makes you look like an actual man instead of a boy. That, paired with a nice pair of jeans and a pair of leather shoes, is painfully simple but effective outfit that you can swear by. It's modern yet classic, is far from high effort yet yields excellent first impressions.
Get a decent haircut, too. And burn your cargo shorts, if you have any.

Winter is my favorite season for fashion because its too cold for women to dress like whores. The popular belief seems to be showing as much skin as possible = sexy and modesty = ugly, but it has become the exact opposite for me.
It might also have something to do with the fact that clothing covers up all the thot stamps and piercings making women look less like back alley ghouls and more like respectable ladies.

I wish I could afford to dress better than I do. At the minute I'm obsessed with shoes. I have a mad hoard of good quality leather shoes. But as for skirts/trousers/shirts/jackets I'm screwed. I wear a lot of military surplus and I can carry off a lot of trousers but my legs are too fat for skirts. And where did all my money go that I sometimes buy from dropshippers? I used to refuse to wear poor-quality clothes but every now and again I get something from Amazon sewn up by blind Bangladeshi orphans.

It can't be that bad. Like, is it chafing, or. bust-at-the-seams?
