How about a thread about nothing? Just bring up something you had on your mind, or something that happened, or whatever you feel like saying.
It's like the QTDDTOT for non-questions.

I'll start us off with a silly story of when I was playing an online game the other night.
People were selling things in the general chat as always, and on a whim I said "WTS(Want-To-Sell) me dressing cute and crying in front of you."
And I actually got someone interested pretty quick, and they actually really did give me a bunch of gold just to use the /cry emote in front of them.
It was weird, and I laughed. All the better in how they dramatically reacted to my character's cry with "omg! That's so sad :("

I used to play many different co-op games because of an online relationship, but as these things go, one person is usually more autistic (about the game) than the other, so I found myself playing lots of Monster Hunter 4U on my own to farm this and that.
I particularly liked making outfits so I would just do any hunt whatsoever since I needed most materials anyway.
Now, for context, that game was plagued with two particular things:
>The introduction of new, op weapons (Insect Glaive and Charge Blade) which led people to play lazy, neglecting to memorize a monster's patterns.
>French people. French people playing the Insect Glaive, specifically. French people so bad at the game, that the french default message for mounting a monster (that was mostly achieved by Insect Glaive users) became a widely renown meme to identify shitters.
The game wasn't easy, especially not the DLC hunts, which were all released post launch and expected the player to be fully outfitted with late game gear;
so when entering a room with a quest set for Crimson Fatalis, when pleasantly greeted by three gentlemen in heavy gear all having Insect Glaives, asking "FR?" (for, "do you speak french?") I had my doubts about our chances.
They ask me "Aren't you bringing an Insect Glaive?".
I politely refuse.
The Fatalis is known for having powerful fire attacks, and one of them had -20 to fire res.
I point it out, and he replies "Don't worry, I dodge ;)".
We enter the mission, the Fatalis majestically flying above us.
He sees us, as the three Baguette-men chase him down.
He lands.
The shock wave kills all three of them.
Mission Failed.
Connection Has Been Lost.

I relate somewhat painfully. In Blade and Soul, you can get all gear through raids and dungeons, but you can also buy the upgrade ingredients off the cash shop to skip that. On launch, most people knew the mechanics and the hardest dungeons actually had easier zone-based equivalents that randoms kind of meandered through until they absorbed the tactics. As time went on, however, the purely free players started dwindling, and the cash shop morons who had top level gear would do the dungeons and just plow through things without really grasping how it works. They'd even go as far as to kick people from the party for having gear that isn't from that dungeon or better. How do you get that dungeon's gear if you can't run that dungeon? Get a clan or get fucked. They opened their wallets and sapped the fun right out.

I have slept so little and for such brief amounts of time lately that I've been missing meals since my body tells me I ate "today" which was yesterday but I hadn't slept in between.
Thank god it's Friday and I can just drink 10 shots of vodka and pass out.
Ironically it's coffee flavored vodka.
Anyone else have problems with insomnia and/or waking up too soon all the time?

While my new ketogenic diet is helping me sleep easily for the first time in my life, the thirst it causes often wakes me up very early in the morning, and it messes with my cicada rhythm.
I'm getting 8+ hours of sleep every night, but somehow my insomnia symptoms are surfacing back again…
Exercise and diet, they said. It will make you healthy they said…

Some dude coughed outside, twice only. Quickly somebody yelled "Who coughed? You can't be here!"
Panic's spreading. Rest in pizza.

Campania.

Peró, tutto aiuta no?

Ah… tanti auguri.

I'm mostly indifferent to it, not very fond, but not intensely put off like some people
I remember I hung out with some odd folks when I was like ~14 that gave me beer and wanted to see how much I could drink. I think it was a ploy to get me drunk but I actually just had a few sips and said it tasted like trash.

I can't blame you, since most of what americans seem to love are IPAs, which do in fact taste like trash.
My rule of thumb is: the crazier a can of beer looks the worst the beer inside.
Anyway I've been to the Oktoberfest twice now so I've been graced with arguably the best beer on earth. Can't argue with german hops.
