Pewds went full edgelord by making some super edgy /pol/ jokes to mock the youtube heroes program, paid those dudes on fiver to make a sign that said "Gas the jews" and other edgy joke shit. some Journo from The Wall Street Journal wrote a hit piece branding pewds as a NAZI while taking the edgelord clips out of context and re-editing them together to make it look like actual racist shit, and then he spread the article around to other "news" outlets to ruin the man's career. and the journo from The Wall Street Journal admitted as much on his twitter while still trying to pass the hit piece off as a legitimate news story.
this is "Gamers are dead" 2.0. at least when the Digra network did this shit they still presented it as an opinion piece unlike this shit.
