Hello, mundane skeptic here.

I'm here because as the title suggests, I want to awaken and believe in the para'normal. Mostly, I somewhat believe in this 'nonsense', but I want sometype of proof, I suppose? I'm honestly not the smartest around, but it's hard not to notice with the UFOs going somewhat mainstream. I'm just asking for two things, although I have nothing to offer.

Is there a place to get started? Possibly get a mentor? For now I'm just interested in opening my third eye, to be able to see/nse energies and whatnot. I do have trouble mediating, as recently I mediated for two straight hours without entering the meditative state, trying to ce-5, which failed.

I'm also asking for outside personal proof that magic exists. Such as remote viewing, or scrying, and providing information that I'd only know? Something like that.

Sorry, I don't have anything to offer. I'm also bad at wording, so apologies if the above sentences seem disrespectful.

Just lookin' to awaken

I'm a chronically lazy cunt, but I have a few suggestions.

Meditation is a marathon, not a sprint. You have to do it every day, or you don't get the benefits. File related.

The other thing you need to ask yourself is, what do you want out of life? You want to prepare for death / afterlife? You want to know what the truth is? You want material wealth, bitches on your dick, etc? Any goal you can imagine you can at least attempt to obtain through occultism / spirituality, so you may as well decide what you want and pursue it that way.

It's a cliche that the guru appears when the student is ready, so if you really want a teacher then make yourself ready. You already know how. "No, I don't." You do, though.

You have to prove this stuff to yourself. Either you will have an intense experience that cannot be denied, or you will slowly accrue smaller experiences over time that gradually convince you. Whatever the case, keep an open mind.

Good luck.

First thing I did that produced material results was to use the techniques in Robert Bruce's Energy Work to cure my chronic carpal tunnel.

Of course this can be explained away with psychosomatics, but it got me into magic. What killed the last of my doubt was spending 3 or so weeks practicing telekinesis and finally managing to move a square bottle half an inch across the floor.

It makes more sense to look at it like bodybuilding. Just like how a fat person wont have a six pack if they do 250 sit ups dont expect samadhi when its your first time meditating regardless of how long you sit.

If you want to see proof for this stuff existing look up all the research the government has done on these topics. They obviously wouldn't have spent all those resources and time on their projects if there wasnt any truth to its existence.

If taking up a serious meditation practice is too hard you could always visit your neighborhood drug dealer and take some lsd. mystical experience for $10 lmao

I have almost no exp but

Read a few meditation books. Mind Illuminated seems ok. Also, Sujiva Essentials of insight meditation

Try to do a lot of walking meditation too (prior to sitting meditation), like described by Thich Nhat Hanh. Breath and noting.

Dream yoga. Get to a healthy weight. Do a few sessions of acupuncture.

Maybe later, some energy work. Microcosmic stuff. Taoist Secrets of Love. etc

Heyo', OP here!

>>139936

I've read up until the practice part, and it seems very professional and realllly full of knowledge. Very good book, seems a lot more cohesive than what people normally say about meditation. Personally, I don't really have a goal for meditation/magick, and just want to see how far I get. Call me crass, but that's how it do be. You say you're lazy, do you mind me asking what you got started on this journey, or how you are? From the way you talk, you seem to believe it.

>>139937

So, telekinesis, aye? Is there a specific thing you've been doing?

>>139940

Yeah, yeah, drugs. DMT and others can simply be explained away by neuroscience whatamajigs. Research by governments can also be called psyops, just look at people denying aliens now because of the disclosure. A marathon, hmm, I'll keep at it, the beginning parts don't seem to take much time out of one's day.

Good luck to you to, friendo'

I'll cite one story, interesting story, that one person, he was out of home for ten years, and he went to the Himalayas to find out some yogi to get some perfection. Now, after ten years, that particular man came back to his village. That is quite natural, that any person who achieves some success, he wants to show it before his friends and relatives and countrymen.

So he came back to his village, and all the villagers, they assembled, and they were very much anxious to know: "Oh, my dear friend, you have been ten years to learn yoga perfections. So what you have learned, please let us know." So he said that "I am finished the laghima-siddhi perfection. That means I have learned how to become the lightest."

And what is the result? He said, "Oh, I can walk over the river." So everyone was very anxious because people are very inquisitive and curious. So all of them requested him, "All right, let us have some demonstration. Please show that you'll walk over the river." So there were, all the villagers came and requested him. "All right, I shall show tomorrow morning."

So there was an old man. He said, "My dear such-and-such, oh, after working for ten years, you have learned something who is two cents worth." Oh, that man was very angry. "Oh, it is two cent worth, do you think?" "Yes, I think it is two cent worth." "Why?" "Now because you'll walk over the river. All right. But I shall pay to the boatman two cents. I shall walk over the river." (laughter)

If you do meditate in order to attain a desired skill or realisation try not to focus too much on it or you may just get a copy of your mental image instead of the real thing. Just focus on what you are doing not where you are going.

My faith in our immortality is relatively unshakable. My only doubt is whether we retain individuality for eternity, or we return to our source to merge.

Not to psychobabble too much at you, but my faith/belief is as follows:

Source is the eternal and changeless reality, the base layer of all things, the All-Maker. All other things are illusion by nature, because the true nature of things is the changeless source reality; all this is like a bubble on the ocean, and when it pops it's still just water.

For some reason, Source splintered itself into countless shards of Itself (it's a paradox, but while Source is changeless and eternal, it also represents infinite potency).

The idea was to create shards of itself that experience the illusion of separation, in order to experience and create. Embodying possibilities at once, there's no surprise. Imagine playing a chess game where you knew what every move was going to be! It's like God is playing hide-and-seek with himself/herself/itself.

However, for whatever reason, whether we were tricked by the Demiurge or simply forgot our divine origin, we got stuck here, in a reincarnation loop that's very difficult to escape from.

This is what the spiritual search is about: to either regain our divine potency as a Sovereign and Immortal Individual, or to merge back with Source and find perfect happiness, wholeness, and peace.

Beyond just being in this game for a decade now, I have had some few spiritual experiences, and while I'm a chronic procrastinator, what granted me faith was the various saints and sages that have existed over time. For whatever reason, their words seem to shine with a certain quality, like even though translated through various languages, they still ring true (if a bit tarnished by the barriers present).

Someone I'd recommend looking into if you want to find out how real this stuff is, is Sri Ramana Maharshi. He was a modern day Jesus Christ, minus the dying on the cross lol. I can't think of another being so perfectly spiritually attained as he, and he died in the 1950s.

Also, he recommended some of his followers read this every day, and I had a profound spiritual experience when I read it: file related.

All this is to say, if you feel in your heart that there may be some substance to this, follow it. Remain vigilant and skeptical! There are many predators and parasites that use faith to leverage against us. Remember that You Are That, and that you don't need to bow to anyone. Any teacher that demands you bow is a false prophet. We are all equal on a spiritual level, even if it doesn't appear so here. Good luck anon!

>For now I'm just interested in opening my third eye, to be able to see/nse energies and whatnot

Wrong approach.

>I mediated for two straight hours without entering the meditative state

The meditation you want to do is a process in which you learn to let thoughts cross your mind without engaging and fuelling them, thus calming your internal monologue more and more. If you can do this process, you are meditating and you are progressing, regardless of how much your internal monologue is calmed.

>trying to ce-5

Don't get ahead of yourself.

Please read Liber Null and Psychonaut (can be found on z-lib/1lib I believe) and begin doing magick for mundane goals (money, sex, health, whatever). I cannot stress this enough. By doing magick for manifesting shit, you will be transformed. But the transformation will only come from experience, not reading.

Keep meditating, and do magic often. As you do this, you will automatically know where to go next. DO NOT fall into the trap of reading book after book and not practicing for real-world results. This is very important.

Also, get out of this place.

>>139954

You might also want to read Advanced Magick for Beginners if you need a nudge to your worldview (belief). But make sure to do the exercises in that book.

Another good one for this is Prometheus Rising.

Again, practice is key. Only reading and absorbing information intellectually is NOT knowledge. Knowledge comes from direct experience. You will be transformed when you see your magick produce results. No amount of reading and rationalising will "convince you". You need to be very clear about this moving forward.

Just sharing advice I got from the Tibetan book of living and dying. I'm not familiar with sunflower but I just checked it out…

>>Earth's maintenance deities packed up and left. They handed over the control document to Gensokyo, so we are now under their rule formally. After the moloch botsouls and their timeline was wiped out by elves, and nomors/skinwalkers quarantined, then trashed the main human timeline, we were adopted by said elves. This means earth is now running on the elven timeline, and technically does not rest on local structures anymore. This is a large intergalaxy timeline.

They seem pretty open minded, I'll keep it on my watch list thanks for the suggestion.

No, the new /fringe/ does.

A small group of neofringefags are trying to rewrite history pretending this was always a MGTOW circlejerk for armchair obullshitists. It wasn't. Check the archives on archive.org. Old fringe had ONA threads in the sticky, they actually did things. Today anyone even hinting at personal practice and experience will be called "edgy" and attacked for "not providing sources" by people who have no skill or experience other than downloading 58GB of occult PDF:s they're never going to read.

Fringe was always shit imo, but I think 8chan fringe was the best incarnation of it. It boggles my mind to no end how mentally ill you have to be to actually like ONA and do their shit, or want to become a lesbian anime girl. You are supposed to "get" your (inner) woman, not become the woman. Only shows how degenerated and twisted spirituality and people are in the Kali Yuga. Anime also sure does a great job of putting the final nail in the coffin. Realizing it's coming from Japan, no surprises there either. There is virtually no pneumatic or someone with a Spirit left.

In the end, it's exactly as the old masters and sages have told us so this shouldn't be too shocking for anyone. I hope all the anons from back then who are gone now are doing fine for themselves spiritually. Let's pray anyone with the potential learns to walk on water (water as a symbol of inferior occultism and degeneration) and not being drowned by it.

based upon materialism the particle has to go back in time. If that's true you should be able to build a time machine by launching people at detector screens.

According to the primacy of consciousness a back history is loaded in the present.

>mundane skeptic

There's your primary issue.

Belief is a huge factor in all magic work. Keith Raniere, currently serving a 120 year prison sentence, built an entire cult with his own personal celebrity sex slaves using borrowed techniques from Amway, NLP, and Scientology. No one would have cared about his bullshit if there wasn't an actual result involved in the practices that he wrapped it in.

It's funny when people say this is all a larp. All of life is a larp. It just depends on the depth of your internal larp that determines your outcomes.
